This is an RV Park within The Glyndon City Parks system, Managed by the Minnesota Department Of Natural Resources. Reservation request policies/procedures are different depending on who answers the telephone at City Hall, which truly has a dis-connect with the RV Park Host. Full hook up, level sites, are either saved or occupied by local campers. The remaining sites are up for first come, first serve, which consist of mostly un-level, electric only. The Park Host was invisible during my 2 day stay. Speed limits within the park were totally ignored, parking on the road within the park was a real problem. No sign of any security to monitor private parties. I would think real hard before recommending this park. We stayed here 2 days in a 5th wheel.
First impression: Roads to this RV Park are VERY BAD. Second impression: Office staff could learn a lot from charm school. Third impression: WOW, have the management ever walked and really looked at the sites which they assign? By far, the worst site that I have ever been assigned, on this 4 month trip thru the lower 48 and Alaska. It took (4) 2X6 planks to level the 5th wheel to get the frig to operate. Would I stay here again? Probably would, as Edmonton does not have a lot to offer RV travelers. We stayed here three days.
Very pricy for what you get, $40 for full hookup, good sam price. Not much going on. They offer and promote pancake breakfast. There is no wifi in camping area, there is no cable, and there is no air TV stations, the restroom where we were assigned is closed. Not the cleanest park that we have seen. We would most likely not stay here again.
Cleanest laundry my wife has ever seen, The fastest internet connection we have experienced in any RV Park so far. Very fast and excellent signal strength. Very friendly and helpful owners. Good strong healthy electricity. We would stay here again.
This is a very old KOA, narrow paved road, dirt/mud, very close uneven sites, mostly suited for class C units. Office is open only an hour and a half in the morning and re-opens again at 3PM in the afternoon. Night time lighting is very, very limited. We would not recommend this KOA.
THIS IS NOT an RV resort. On the plus side, it has full hook-ups which work well, and the price is super. First impression is that of an old drive in movie theater on a Sunday morning. Buildings are all portable, mostly long term residents with some very interesting trailers/campers (very old). Night time lighting is very, very limited. No noticeable security on the grounds to control midnight motorcycle racing through the park. Wi-Fi not working in our area. All in all, full hook-ups for a real good price, but, NOT a resort. We will by-pass this park on our return trip.
