I have no idea why this park is rated as high as some of the previous ratings indicate. As previously indicated, the greatest percentage of the park is and continues to be converted to park models. This leaves only a small percentage for RV'ers. If you are looking to meet other RV'ers and enjoy the social aspects of RV'ing there is little opportunity here. The paved spaces are fine and can accommodate even a Prevost as we saw. The Wi-Fi is spotty, the bathrooms are excellent, the managers are nice and helpful. Overall, it appears that the owners are reluctant to spend much money on the place. Examples are overflowing trash container (at times), cable TV that has no local channels (LA and NY why knows why), a little used hodge-podge of a rec room, and a pet area that is nothing more than a gravel area on the side of the park. Based on our initial disappointment with this park (since we planned to stay for a month) we checked out 5 or 6 other parks in the area. As we found they were no better and some worse. So this place is not terrible, just not greatest either. There is much to do in the area, you can walk to the harbor, shops, beach and restaurants. Verizon cell phones work great here.

If there were some shade this park would be a 10 and I don't rate many that high. The park is relatively new and shows it. Everything is clean ,well maintained and well planned. Since these people own a number of other facilitiies they have learned what works well. Spacious streets and sites. Not necessary to unhook tow vehicle if only staying the night. The clubhouse is wonderful and has all the amenities you could ask for and there is free coffee and muffins in the morning. Wifi worked very well from our site. Make a point to stay here when you are in the Boise area.

This is a nice park but certainly not a "10". What detracts from the highest possible score are such details as: 1) Narrow pads so there is no room to put a chair out and sit on the pavement. Instead our site would require us to sit on slopping heavy gravel. 2) Long pull thru sites are not properly oriented such that you need to unhook your toad even for just an overnight stay. 3) Pool and pool water did not look as clean as they should be. 4) Some road noise from the nearby Interstate. Overall however, this is certainly a nice place. It appears very clean, well maintained, and has a very friendly staff. Eventually the young trees will provide some shade to this newer park.

There are some things to like and some to dislike about the park. First, the dislikes: 1) The park is deplorable looking overall due to all the dead grass and lack of landscape maintenance. 2) As with many parks there are a few absolutely ratty looking permanent sites with delapidated old rv's on them. 3) Despite the paved pads and roads, you can't help but get dirty hooking up or unhooking given the dirt that has replaced the grass. Now the likes: 1) This is one of the few parks where the pull thru was set up properly so we didn't have to unhook our toad for a one night stay. 2)Free wifi at least in and around the office area. 3) Wonderful friendly family operated park with homemade cookies and candy offered at checkin. 4) Very clean bathroom facilities. If the owners would improve the visual appeal of the park, the rating would be much higher.

Certainly a nice campground, but not a ten. Overall very nice facilities, clean, neat, and well maintained including all the landscaping. Little details have a way of impacting the score. The rec room closed at 7pm. If nothing else this meant no computer modem availability. The trash dumpsters are left in open sight in a central location, no attempt made to hide them. The bathrooms, while modern and clean where not cleaned over the weekend, because some paper litter remained there on Saturday and Sunday. This criticism is by no means a condemnation of the park. Rather it is meant as constructive criticism and offer a way to offer an even better experience for all rv'ers.

An older park with not alot going for it. The basics are there, but not always looking well maintained. Only back-ins have cable, pull thrus are next to the main highway, some of the hookup fixtures are in need of repair. The office staff was friendly, although for such a small town knew surprisingly little about things in town when asked. Having said all this, this place is OK for a night or two to check out the area. As much as we avoid KOA's this may be one place where the KOA may be the better choice although we only viewed it from the highway.

This park is built on the grounds of an old race track. Some of the RV park building facilities were converted into their current use from the old track and while adequate, are not the most appealing. Many of the old horse stables are still standing, fenced off from the RV park but still in sight. The streets are well paved and wide, and the back in cites are very big and wide, giving you a sense of spaciousness from your neighbor. There are no paved pads and the gravel area was rather muddy this year due to the unusual amount of rain experienced in much of the southwest. This probably is not a problem most of the time. The office staff was business like, and luckily we had a friend who is a long term guest in the park to help us get the spot we wanted and be flexible with a departure date. We don't play golf but even we could tell that is not a full course, maybe three short holes or so. The golf area looked well maintained despite alot of standing water, again due to the unusual amoount of rain. Much of the parks business is snow birds, but this park offers alot less planned activiities and amenities than we found in several other parks in Arizona. The military aircraft can be noisy at times, but it is intermittent during the day and we never experienced any issue with this at night. There is no road noise to deal with and there is easy from the interstate. If you are visiting the Phoenix area for a short time, this a good place to stay.

Since we were here only over night, we did not get to experience everything the park might have to offer. However, the park is well maintained, the office friendly, and the pull throughs easy to access and wide enough for any RV. The park was full of very friendly snowbirds who made us feel welcome. On the night of our stay we even attended a free musical jam session in the very large, well equipped club house. There are a myriad of activities that take place on an on going basis, and we were sorry our travel plans did not allow us to stay longer.
