We stayed here when we visited hershey Park. The sites are grassy and a little hilly. They are close together with no buffer. Some of the tent sites are very close to the highway so request one not near the mini golf. The kids loved the mini golf even though it was a little run down. They also loved walking to the camp store and buying .25 ice creams. The store is well stocked with anything you may have left at home. We did not use the showers but the bathrooms were okay. Nothing great. They are centrally located. There is no hot water in the bathrooms. Each site comes with a fire ring and a picnic table.
The lake is nice to take the paddle boats out for 30 mins-1 hour. They charge $5 for a 30 min rental. They allow fishing. The sites were somewhat level but lots of gravel and dirt (no grass) so tent campers beware. You will get very muddy if it rains. Some of the sites were spaced out nicely. We got a site that was way to close to our neighbors. We heard them snoring at night. We were not happy that the quiet times were not enfored at all. Music was blasting at 2:30 in the morning from more than one campsite. Also, this campground is located close to a private airport so the planes fly over your head all day lond. They seemed to stop at night. The bathrooms/showers were also not up to par. No air circulation at all. There were tons of spiderwebs and dirty showers. I would not stay here again
