Pricey, loud, not shaded, and no cable TV. I drove my RV from N. Idaho to Corpus Christi, Texas and this campground was the least favorite and most pricey. It was located right on a main street and noisy, not shady, and even though I paid extra for cable TV, it did not work. By the time I realized it my hour of reconnecting everything was not the problem and there was no help was to be found. Left feeling unhappy and will not return.
I loved this park and both times I was there it was lovely. The staff was friendly, it was affordable, the hotsprings are right there in front, and restaurants are nearby. I plan to revisit this KOA again and I left early on my trip to make sure I got into this KOA on my return home!
Don't be fooled by the "work in progress" when you drive in because this was the most awesome RV park I have stayed in. You get a nice safe quiet stay on a beautiful river. You could not find better food right there in the restaurant and there is alcohol to boot. The owner will go out of her way to make you right at home. I plan to return to stay in the guest rooms next time I fly in. The atmosphere is peaceful, fun, and relaxing.
