This is an excellent destination campground. Lots of stuff for kids to do: huge playground, indoor pool, bouncing pillow, a program of counselor led activities. The site was level, internet quick and easy, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Great showers. However, we would have appreciated a rule or two about quiet hours, and not tying dogs outside of the camping cabins all night (barking). There is a train closeby, but we only heard it once. Some food available: pizza and ice cream. Apparently there are hot breakfasts on summer weekends.

The site was unlevel. If you are more than 30 ft long, it would have been difficult to level your rig. Turns were tight within the park. The place was beautiful, but mostly seasonal campers/mobile homes, loads of kids, dogs, and cats. The bathrooms were filthy. Shower curtains had muddy handprints, hair all over and mud. The showers were dangerous. If anyone turned on the water elsewhere or flushed a toilet, the cold water cut off and the water turned scalding. Water smelled of iron and sulphur. Never again.

Right on the freeway. Water leaked from their faucets, actually kind of gushed out. Dog owners: you are not allowed to set up X-pens! Management helpful, but not particularly friendly. There seemed to be many seasonal RVs/mobile homes. Restrooms were clean, but shower curtains were about a foot too short, so water got over everything. We will not return.

The reason this campground is a bit more expensive is that it is near Branson, Missouri. Yes, there is a train nearby, but we had no problem with it. I am thinking the last few reviewers are used to camping in luxury places or hotels. If they don't like KOAs, they shouldn't stay at them. Quite frankly, we average around 38 when we camp in private campgrounds. We used our KOA card here and the Good Sam card elsewhere. Now, the specifics. Level site with plenty of shade. They have a fenced area for dogs, complete with miniature agility equipment and waste bags. Showers were unisex and separate from the unisex toilets: all facilities opened on to a small room. I would prefer separate men's and women's rooms, but everything was clean. Water pressure was good. The grounds were nice and grassy. The people were friendly. We would stay here again.

I really wanted to like this place. The office was very friendly, the sites are well shaded, but there are several key problems. The men showers were "death traps" - the floors sloped. The women showers had those plastic mats with the little pointy nubs that hurt your feet. The shower heads faced the shower curtains so you couldn't turn on the shower without getting soaked in cold water. They were very clean! Beware if you have dogs. Mine collected many burrs in their walks. There is a very small fenced (and burred) area for off-leash. Food was just slightly above TV dinner quality. Site was not quite level; turns would be really tight if you were longer than 35 feet or so. Internet was okay. I will probably try someplace else next time.

I agree with the other reviewers. It was okay for a night or two and I think that is what the owners expect. The restaurant served a variety of basic food: fried chicken, BBQ brisket, etc. Nothing to write home about but fine for a night. The showers were fine, but the seat in each shower was small. Everything was clean enough, management was friendly enough. It was dusty, but so is everything in Santa Rosa. We would stay again for a night.

We loved this park. The food (steak dinner for my husband, chicken for me) was very good, as was breakfast. We heard very little road noise, even though it is near I-40. The site was large, had a picnic table and a small shade tree, and the management made sure to spread people throughout the campground, so we had no close neighbors. Lots of playground stuff: basket ball and V-ball too. Didn't use the pool. Restrooms were clean. Only downside was weak water pressure in the shower, and the Wi-Fi (Tengo) fluctuated. The management was very friendly. We would easily stay here again!

We have stayed here several times. The sites are gravel, large, and fairly level. Sites are separated from each other by tall oleander bushes, so are fairly private. Good pet walk area (not enclosed). Wi-Fi works well, but we always have to go back to the office as the user name and password never seem to work the first time. The biggest drawback, and why I rated it a 7, is the showers. Each shower is a separate and fairly small. It gets quite cold here in the winter and the showers are apparently unheated and have door vents. It was 39 degrees this morning, so hot water, but cold air. Brrr. We will stay here again, but be aware of the chill.

Although this is a bit scruffy around the edges, we liked this park. It was quiet, level gravel, and had a nice cafe open for dinner with real food, not just burgers and fries. The people were very friendly. The spaces were large. Although we are only 30 ft long, there were 60 ft long RVs that had enough room. Pretty scenery. Has mini-golf and a clean pool. WiFi was slow. We would stay here again.

This is not a bad campground: essentially all concrete pads with patios and picnic tables, and grassy areas between sites. Very neat and clean. However the tone of the rules was quite off-putting. Lots of "do not" and "never". They distributed a handout of how to hook up your sewer so it would not go on the grass. There were numerous "Never on the grass signs". I am not sure what was not to be on the grass. We were afraid to walk on it! WiFi worked fine, everything appeared clean, but the tone was very unsettling and unfriendly. Other negatives: located right next to a large refinery, a number of permanent appearing RVs, no kids activities other than fishing, and a general parking lot feel to the place. It is off the freeway by 2 miles, so it is fairly quiet.
