This is a nice park in a rural neighborhood. The couple in the front office are adorable and were very helpful! Most roads are paved, but a few are gravel. Sites are spacious, are all gravel with a picnic table, and lots of shade. I rated this park a 6 because of a couple of things that need to be updated. Internet was horrible!!! Owners must have the cheapest plan available! We were told in the office that we could only use it for e-mail: well even getting that took forever. When the park is full, the internet is basically non-existent! Very disappointing for a KOA! A garbage bin (only one in the park), is located on the front driveway. There are no other cans in the park. Our neighbor had several bags of dog waste lined up on her picnic table. (We assumed she only walked to the bin once a day?) This park is pet friendly, unfortunately, too friendly: 4 sites down from us, lived a pitt bull! Not cool, when there are lots of children living here. And when we saw this dog, he was not on a leash! We would stay here again if the above changes were made.
This is a beautiful park to stay in when visiting Yellowstone! We loved staying here. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Sites are beautiful and spacious! Roads/sites are paved and you have a grass patio with a table. Cable & Internet worked very well. Great place for kids with many areas to ride bikes or play in the playground. There are many gates along the back of the park that lead out to trails to walk your dogs. You can walk to town in less than 10 minutes, and the west entrance to Yellowstone is about 5 minutes away. We will definitely come here again and bring our family!
We had been traveling all day through Nebraska, and found this little park in Kimball. Staff was very nice/helpful. Office had a small store, but very little food items. There is a market in town about 10 minutes from the park. Sites are dirt, with a grass patio, and a picnic table. They have a small dog park, but also lots of grass around the park to walk your dog. Cable and Internet worked great! We did use the laundry room. It was very clean with 4 washers, and 2 huge dryers. $1.75/wash. 25 cents for every 10 minutes on the dryer. Park was very quiet at night. Nice place to stay for an overnight!
This is a very nice park in North Salt Lake City. Staff was very friendly/helpful. Sites have a little lawn, and a small patio with a round picnic table. Sites are VERY close together! Grounds were clean and there are small grass areas that your dog can do his business on. There is a lot of grass areas where dogs are not allowed. There is a trail at the end of the park that leads to a walk/bike way. Got a lot of exercise using it. You have to go into town if you need anything, office does not have much in their store. Cable TV is very limited so we were really glad we had our dish. My big complaint was the WiFi. It was TERRIBLE! It is almost 5pm right now and this is the first time today, I was able to get on and have it work correctly. Most of the time, you can't get on, or it runs slower than a tortoise! The instructions to getting on are very confusing, and usually does not connect. This park definitely needs to update it internet to meet the needs of the whole park!
