As noted, this was a mobile home park. Now many of the sites are available to RVs. The sites are very large. Paved roads, paved parking spots, many with concrete patios. The cleanest, best kept mobile home park I've ever seen. There were no bathhouse facilities, nor pool/playground, but that was OK with us for our stay. If visiting the Raleigh area, this is a very easy place to stay. It's on the south side of town, but you can be anywhere in the area in 30 minutes or less. Easy off and on I-40. No Wi-Fi or cable, but over the air TV was very good. We'd surely stay again if in the area.

Very hard to rate this place. If you stay here for a Nascar event, it is great. Right across the street from Charlotte Motor Speedway. A lot of permanents trailers, many seasonal sites, transient overnighters have mostly gravel and grass sites. A few paved ones as well. For visiting the area, I'd pass. For Nascar, excellent.

Easy off/on I75. Spacious sites, lots of trees, paved sites and roads. Very helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi and cable. Quiet and peaceful. When in the area, would definitely come back.

A very nice campground. Large sites, lots of trees, well laid out. Good Wi-Fi, no cable, but decent over air reception with careful positioning of antenna. Great staff, helpful in every way. The caverns were fantastic. Good location for visiting the area. Anecdotally, the best choice in the area.

Perfection. Large wooded sites, paved roads, spotlessly maintained. Good cable and WiFi. No pets, no golf carts, just peace and quiet. Easy access from I-87, and well located for visiting the area. This was our third year visiting, and we'll be back next year for sure.

Beautiful campground. Spectacular lake with all the toys for the kids to enjoy. Sites are tight but level, very picturesque setting on hilly terrain. All paved roads with concrete & gravel sites. Utilities all worked well. We only were there for an overnight, but would love to return and spend more time. Escort to sites, very helpful and friendly staff. We travel extensively, this is an extremely nice campground.

Dirt/sand roads throughout. Mostly dirt/sand sites, heavily treed. Decent sized level sites. Lots of seasonal/long term folks. Several sites now used for overnight/short term visits are a mess since they used to be for long term use. Good Wifi and cable. Good location to visit Jersey shore, Six Flags Great Adventure, or to sight see in the area. Don't know the definition of "resort", but this is not it. Nice pool and play area for kids. Seems to be the best choice for this area.

Just about perfect in every way. Great for visiting the amusement park, you can simply walk over to the entrance. We did have Wifi near the office, worked very well. Very well maintained, clean, with friendly helpful staff. We've stayed here before, and will again. Discounted tickets help to offset the fairly high price.

What a delightful surprise. This is a campground in dense woods with enormous large, long sites. A few older permanents still around, but on balance a clean, well maintained place. A little far off I-85, but well worth the trip. Quiet and peaceful, with very helpful and friendly staff. So nice that we'll try to find any excuse to visit the area again.

If there were an eleven, this is it. Wide long paved sites, beautiful water front and canal front sites. Most sites have good shade due to lots of trees and plants. Very nice pool, convenient to Key West (10 miles) and to other points of interest. Extremely helpful staff. The standard by which all other RV Resorts are judged. Perfect in virtually every way.

Good location north of Atlanta. Easy on and off Rt 400. Friendly, family run campground. Sites for every preference. Stayed here many times, and will always return. No cable, but very good over-the-air TV.

New facility, nice pool, great waterfront views. Easy walk to nearby restaurants. Helpful staff. However, basically a very large gravel parking lot. No trees, some landscaping. Awfully hot in the blazing Florida sun. For the money, I think it is way overpriced, but they have made a big investment in the facilities, and perhaps over time it will improve and they get some paved roads and site pads, and more trees planted.

As an overnight park, easy off and on I-10. Paved roads, large, and long gravel sites with grass. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Nicely shaded sites, good cable, and WiFi. Will stay again for sure when passing thru the area.

Vastly improved with big new sites with patios. Very well maintained and great friendly staff. This was a KOA designed in the 1970s, and it has been upgraded to 2014 deluxe standards. Only negative was awful WiFi. If they can get this fixed, would be a solid 10.

This is an overnight park right off I-81. Easy in and out, nice competent professional staff. Decent sites. Nothing fancy, but for what it is, a great place to stay.

This is a very nice, family friendly campground. There are many things to do, including a driving range. Many seasonal campers. Some transient sites are in the woods, but most are out in a field, on a hill and very narrow. Not a great choice for big rigs. A good location for sight seeing in nearby Amish country. Good camp store, and an on site restaurant/snack bar. We had a good time visiting the area.

Easy off/on I-81. Good overnight spot, clean and well maintained. Gravel roads/grass and concrete patios at all sites. Nice friendly staff, restaurant on site with decent camp store. We would certainly stay there again.

Spacious sites, paved roads, dense trees and shade. Spotlessly maintained, quiet and peaceful. Nice pool and game room. If there were an eleven rating, this park would get it. Thankfully, no pets are allowed.

This is an excellent choice to see the area. The transient sites are in field, but with a really great view of the St. Lawrence river, and access to the river as well. Owners could not have been more gracious and helpful. Large sites, fairly level and well maintained. Decent Wi-Fi, good over the air TV. Easy access into Clayton and Alex Bay. We'd definitely stay again.

The waterfront sites are very nice, especially the sunrise side, which is a little less frenetic. Views are superb of Lake Ontario. Interior sites are treeless and tight. Great if you have a boat. Cable has terrible reception, but over the air broadcasts are good from Watertown and Syracuse. Wi-Fi is horrible, slowest I have ever seen, and it costs extra. Paved roads, gravel sites and grass. It is a special place out on an island in the lake. Association Island has a unique history as well. I'd go back if in the area.

Spotlessly maintained, paved roads and concrete pads. Nice pool, very professional staff. Easy access to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Some road noise as others have noted, but with the A/C running, we heard nothing. Laid out perfectly so the afternoon sun is not on your curb/social side of the camper. This is a great place to stay, even if you don't go to the delightful amusement parks.

As has been mentioned, paved roads, concrete pads, in a big parking lot without a tree. No pool, and some city noises which are to be expected. They charge 5 bucks for kids, and there are zero things for kids to do here. We've stayed before, but will not again as the pricing is out of balance to the features.

Decent overnight stop right off I-30. No frills, just basics. Mostly seasonal campers, few amenities, gravel sites for overnighters; safe and clean.

One of the prettiest campgrounds I've every seen. In town, but beautifully treed and laid out. Clean and neat, very friendly and helpful staff. We had the presidential site, gorgeous ! Easy off/on I-20. Good location for visiting the DFW area. We do a lot of traveling, and this is a memorable place that would be at the top of our list to visit again.

Older KOA, if you are in an upgrade patio site, it is nice. If not, you will be sandwiched in as tight as I've ever seen. Worst WiFi I've encountered in 4 years. Very helpful and professional staff. Good location nearby Grand Old Opry. Shuttle to downtown available for a fee. They are in the process of expanding, and perhaps this will improve the park. But, of the three campgrounds in the area I prefer it if you can get a patio site, or the larger sites in rows L, N, & P. Otherwise I'd pass if you have a big rig.

Very tight sites, not suited to big rigs. A lot of seasonal/permanents. Mostly gravel roads and sites, very dusty. Bathrooms were awful.

A delightful campground in the heart of Amish countryside. Paved roads, concrete pads, large sites. Clean and well maintained. Many great amenities including mini golf and shuffleboard. On site restaurant was excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Good central location to explore the area. Would go back often.

Awful place. The "crystal clear lake" they mention is horrible. Wouldn't swim in it on a bet. Water supply is contaminated with sulfur, so be sure have bottled water. Dirt/gravel road into campground and throughout. Wi-Fi weak and slow. Convenient overnight stop, but I'd check out other options.

Nearly perfect in every way. Good location for sightseeing, paved roads, and sites. Grass between sites. Pool, putting course, social activities. Helpful friendly staff. Watch out for the afternoon sun in some sites. Loved everything about this place.

Convenient off the interstate, just an all gravel parking lot. Better than a Walmart or Cracker Barrel. I've heard it is better than others in the area.

This campground is magnificent. Well maintained, paved roads, concrete pads, friendly staff. Beautiful grounds, great facilities. Internet is very slow, cable TV reception is poor as well. But it is still a "10". Surrounding area is like a pretty landscape photo. Plenty to do and see as well. If they had six stars, this would be it.

Very expensive for the amenities offered. Curt staff. Extremely noisy staff golf carts (gas powered) speeding throuth the place all the time. Sites are small and very close together, and are just grass. No pads or patios. Dirt roads. Bath house was clean, but not air conditioned, stifling on a hot day. Barking dogs everywhere, and no rules were enforced. Saw one small pop-up with five dogs. I'd rather have stayed home. Would not return.

Easy on/off to I-95. It is adequate in every way for an over nighter. Long level sites, good Wi-Fi and cable. Wake up calls are provided by a nearby airport, but its mostly small planes, so it's not too bad. All paved roads, concrete pads, and grass. Well maintained.

Convenient off I-95, older well cared for campground. Friendly staff, good wi-fi, no cable but plenty of HD over air channels. Long, level sites, grass and trees around. Good value. This was our second visit, and we will stay again when passing through the area.

Expensive, but worth every penny. Wonderful staff, convenient to Key West. A little out of town, and that is a good thing, several "locals" restaurants nearby. Good base for seeing the southern Keys. This facility sets the bar against which you will measure all other RV resorts. Perfection !

Internet not working, cable reception terrible, bouncing pillow broken. Staff not really interested in responding to problems. Very tight sites in 50 amp area. Close to National Park and zip-line/raft trips. Only "game" in town, and it shows! Still the best place to stay to visit this charming town and the park.

Very nice, clean, safe RV resort right in downtown New Orleans. Easy walk to French Quarter and easy access to all the sights in this wonderful city. Right next to I-10, big billboard inside so you will always know the Powerball jackpot. No trees, but that's OK. We came to see the city, not to "camp", all paved sites with grass. Great staff.

This is a well located, very nice RV park. It is not a campground, does not have a jumping pillow or a pool, and that's OK with me. The attraction is downtown St. Charles and the bike path nearby. 1.5 miles flat to town, 250+ mile bike path along the Missouri river. 4th of July in town is great. Paved roads, concrete pads, grass, no trees. Easy in and out, good central location for sightseeing. Restaurant on the grounds. Courteous, helpful staff.

If you have a big rig, motorhome/5th wheel/trailer, this is the park for you if you are visiting Williamsburg. Easy access, adequately sized, level concrete sites, grass & pads. Pool is a little far from most sites. Well maintained; friendly, competent staff; clean, shade trees, and laid out thoughtfully for the afternoon sun, so you are not staring into it.

Clean & well maintained. Friendly professional staff. Very large pull through's, some trees, paved roads, gravel sites, no pads but nice grass. Pool looked nice. Convenient off/on I-95. WiFi was not working for our visit, but they are trying. No cable, but great over the air, many channels. Quite nice overall.

First off, this is not an RV Resort. This is an old KOA, layer out I suspect in the 70's. Sites are tiny, the only way anyone can stay there is if they do not put others next to you. Staff was very nice, nice views, clean. Has old motel units, and new park models. Marina, pool were nice. Internet only if you go to their restaurant/bar, and then quite slow. Awfully expensive for this level of facility.

We stayed in a waterfront site. It was gorgeous! Nice pool, great staff, good location near Naples, Sanibel/Captiva. If there was an eleven on the scale, this would be a candidate.

Extremely tight sites, you can touch your slide and the neighbor's simultaneously. Overflowing sewage system, on two visits. Snotty staff. Drive a little farther.
