One of the very few parks in the US that deserves the title "resort." Yes, it's expensive but absolutely worth every penny. It is cleaned constantly and the only park I've ever stayed where I had a trash can in my site. It is one of the five best parks I've stayed in: beautifully manicured, gorgeous trees and large level sites with great utilities.
Terrible Wi-Fi: constantly in and out. The reservation system is either broken or poorly run. We were told that there was no availability on the resort side and two of the sites we requested were vacant the entire time we were here. Rules are posted everywhere but don't seem to be enforced. Dog owners are the major culprits. I observed one of the golf cart brigade pass by a dog and owner; the dog had just deposited and it was not bagged and nothing was said. This is a park that is in a beautiful, desirable location and critical comments will have little or no impact on occupancy.
Despite all the hype on the website, this is a very average park. Check in is strange. When you pull in, you block the lane for anyone trying to exit. The roads are extremely narrow! Although certainly not under the park's direct control, many not staying here, use the park's narrow road as a short cut to the nearby senior center and Taco Bell. This occurs around the clock. Utilities work well: Internet is via Ethernet and a cable is provided which is great for coaches with an outside connection but not so great for those who need to leave a window open. Some sites, but not all, have decent views of the nearby mountains. Since this park is in a high tourist area, average reviews will have little impact on heavy use.
Worth every penny--the word "resort" applies. Anyone can use the term but few deserve it. As stated by others, this resort is manicured. It has beautiful views, good utilities, and the look of professional management. A tour of the immediate area will immediately prove that the other options don't come close to this beautiful park.
The owners and staff take care of this park. It is clean, well landscaped and pleasant. Sites are genuine pull-throughs and level. The cable and Wi-Fi are excellent. I'm glad we chose this park for a longer stay and have no negative comments about it.
Interior roads are in terrible condition. Pull through sites are not long--we had to unhook even though we paid for a pull through--narrow roads and short sites will not accommodate many combinations. Utilities are adequate--cable costs extra. The staff was concerned and helpful-the owner is putting band aids on a park that requires major surgery! Vets will tell you that tiny exercise areas breed disease and this park supports that--small, dirty, smelly, pet area.
The wonderful nice people referred to in another review, were on leave. Instead we got some barely interested summer hire who noted our arrival with interest, but not much. Her first classic comment was, "You may not fit in the pull through." Why may I ask, was this not stated when I reserved AND furnished the length of my RV and tow car? The so called pull through sites may not allow you to pull through, but that fact is not advertised. Wi-Fi is up and down and drops out often. Cable TV is TERRIBLE! It is not clear and very few stations come in. Hookups work. Nothing special at all here!!! I would go on to Las Vegas rather than stopping here again.
Resorts should have Wi-Fi and cable TV included at the price. There are water views but other than that there is nothing special. Sites are level gravel, utilities work but I have stayed at other parks as good or better for much less. Even tourist areas have off seasons. Summer heat is not the time to visit unless you like sitting inside with the air conditioner on, which at this high price most people tend to do.
Sewers seem to be working now. This should renamed ATV Resort-loud, unregulated and often being driven by kids who obviously are too young to possess a drivers license. Congestion between RV sites and Park Models has already been mentioned and is still a major problem, especially if cars are parked in front of the park models.
Extremely overpriced and "resort" only in their own definition. Some sites are shady, but others get full sun all day long. It's clean and somewhat maintained, although it needed mowing badly during our stay.
