We have really enjoyed our stay here. Majestic scenery, friendly helpful owners, and all essential conveniences. There is an all-day cafe with good food, including home made bread and pastries. LCBO license, gift store and gas bar. The sites are adequately large and well kept. There is no pool, shuffle board etc., but that is what we like. We may well come back here next summer
I have given this camp a 3 based on the location, looking out over Lake Superior and adjacent to the Montreal river. Otherwise the camp has been sadly let go. The laundry room which one paid $3.50 for, in advance, was indescribably filthy (photos available). The owner was unfriendly and complained about all the factors leading to his present failure. Under no circumstances would we return. There were no services or amenities to justify the price. We have occasionally stayed overnight in similar sites, usually priced at $9-$10.
We enjoyed first class service at this camp. The owners went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and that we would return, which we plan to do this year. The washrooms and laundry were immaculate, appliances were new and cost $1.00 per use, clean sweet water from a 300ft deep well. Our site was 200ft X 50ft and the scenery is magnificent. We have no negatives at all
