Presently here as a seasonal camper. Campground now has Wi-Fi but is only at the hotspot around office, located at entrance. Password will be required for access. Still nice and friendly campground. Come by for a visit

Rate not important for this review. Stayed as a seasonal camper and enjoyed our entire time at this campground. Campground is clean by any camping standard. The owners even cleaned the outhouses daily. That's right "outhouses" located throughout the campground. 3 different camping areas, High Meadow/Hillcrest and Woods area. New in-ground pool opened this season, new picnic tables replaced older tables. Grounds mowed every week by friendly old seasonal camper. Will be returning next season the meet our new friends and camping families. Past reviews probably didn't enjoy quiet family camping but we did and encourage others to join us next season. Counting down the days already.

We stayed in Regal Ridge area. Agree with other reviews on how nice and quiet resort was. Backup onto concrete sites was ok. Ranger at front gate 24/7. Rate based on weekly stay w/PA rate. Not bad considering what rates are around the area in general. Would stay again if in the area.

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. Made the reservation with Reserve America. Arrived at campground only to find out a truck was parked at my site. After getting it moved, pulled into site only to find out electric box was too far for hookup with my camper. Water connection had no handle to turn it on. Pulled out of site trying to locate a campground host or someone else while pulling my camper. Too many tight turns and other campers in area. Left campground without talking to anyone. Arrived at approximately 2:30PM CDT, no one was even at the front gate. Contacted Reserve America via email, awaiting reply. Will definitely NEVER VISIT HERE AGAIN.

The last couple of reviews are correct. Construction still happening but campground still nice place to visit. Stop over just for one night and very well worth it. Office personnel very friendly and helpful. It is a clean park overall. We would definitely stay again if in the area. It is right off I-57 and campground has put up a sign where to turn due to the construction.

Ditto on the last reviewer (dtd July 09). Extremely clean CG and most gracious hosts. Guided us to our site and leveled us off with their on-site equipment. Would definitely recommend this CG to any traveler for any length of stay. Looking forward to our next stay if in the area.

We stayed here for 2 months and the location fit our needs just great. The owners and staff work everyday to make the campground comfortable for the visiting campers as well as the seasonal families that come in mainly on the weekends. Bingo every Sat (rain or shine). Scheduled activities for all to enjoy the entire season. Campground has had cable installed. If you like friendly campers to hang out with while traveling, this campground just might be what you are looking for. The campground is not a fancy resort, just good country living. Would definitely stay again if in the area and recommend it to another traveler.

Camped over Memorial Day weekend with campground area about 90% capacity. Sites are set up to have 4 campers around the same electrical and water area. Hard to pull in or out of camping area situated this way. Had to drive approx. 20 miles from I-71 to location of campground. Roads are hilly and narrow. Large rigs would find this campground very unsuitable. Most campers we encountered were in tents and small travel trailers. A couple of 5th wheelers visited but were approx. 32'. Ground where short time or weekend campers were placed was hilly and required extra gear to level every campers rig. Dump station located in area where it was very difficult to dump before leaving campground. Had to back camper up to dump tanks or drive off completely full. Quiet time is 11pm-8am and is NOT enforced to our expectations. Would not go out of my way to stay here again.

Site location was a backup to the river and on a level concrete pad. Choice of full hookup or not available. After all the rains in the area river was very high and running fast downstream. Park personnel friendly, drive around to overlook area and do routine work. Park filled to about 90% capacity over the weekend. No problem with noise. Couldn't believe with all the campers here at that time it would be so quiet. Already planning a return visit this year.

Small campground area located west of I-65. Pull thru site great, full hook up including free WiFi. Gravel pull thru, grass area with picnic table, fire ring and small grill within site location. Small catch and release pond. Park personnel very pleasant and friendly. Came by and checked to make sure all was suitable for our visit. Not fancy but well worth the stop over. Would definitely stop again if in the area.

Very small State Park as other campers have stated in other reviews. Have to check in a ranger office then drive back to area of park entrance for campground location. Campground sites are tight and all back in. Only 4 campers there for our visit. Park personnel very pleasant and helpful. Can walk entire park in about 10-15 mins. Did not visit caverns. Pool, snack bar, gift shop closed during visit. Enjoyed the peace and quiet time. Would visit again if in area

Very nice campground. Owners do everything possible to make you feel at home. We spent 5 days there and are considering coming back for another month. Not much in the Elko area but Perry is about 8-10 miles away. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Washers and dryers $1.00 each for use. Plenty of pet walk space available. Staff always working around park to make sure plenty of plants and the grounds are groomed. Propane also available on site. If driving in the area check this campground location out you will not be disappointed.

Great State Park not far from a State Forest. Park location in a valley. No cell or wireless internet connection with major company. Walked from site about 100 ft to lake for fishing. Most visitors at this park were adult and fishing was main reason for being there. Other than the freeze for one night, could not have asked for a better visit. All park personnel very nice, polite and very helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Outstanding campground. Everything looked top notch. Originally reserved site for 2 days ended up staying 2 additional days. Great time fishing in the lake but no luck this time.

Very nice State Park. Clean and quiet. Great view of the lake from quiet a few campsites. Highly recommend this campground.

Decided on this park due to the pictures on their website. Surprised is not the word. Their pictures must be at least 10 years old. Orange Lake could only be accessed by boat. Lost fishing rigs from their best fishing location. Will not return for another visit.
