Park has great electrical power. Wi-Fi was good. Liked the lay out very much with plenty of room between sites. Potholes have been fixed and roads are in great shape. The only problem I saw was the gnats. I guess it was that time of the year for them to be everywhere. They weren't just in the park, they were even lousy in town. I would return here if I'm ever in the area again and wanted a nice campground.
No Wi-Fi. They will even charge you to use their dump station even if you stay there. Escorted to site. First site we couldn't level on so he moved us over a couple sites where it was a little more level. They have a pool but for some reason couldn't put water into it because of some regulation or need of inspection. Would not stay here again if in the area.
Wi-Fi signal was strong. Electrical power in 120 volt range and constant. Power boxes could be a little higher off the ground but didn't cause any major concerns. Good water pressure. Sites were very clean and you could see that someone raked each site probably after the occupant left in the morning. Easy off and on I-10 with no noise. I would stay here again if in the area. Gentleman in office very nice.
No Wi-Fi. This is a mobile home community but RV's are welcome and they do have room among the resident homes. It is a nice place to stay if you are having work completed at Cummins Mid-South as it is only about 6 miles from the shop. The lady in the office is very accommodating on the check out time and she will work with you. It is located on Carson Road and you have a hard time finding the office. Just pull into the gas station and look for the office on the far end my laundromat. If you are looking for a good place to eat just go North of Carson Road on Hwy. 79 for about half a mile on your left side of the road. A small hole in the wall but they serve good BBQ. I would use this mobile park if in the area again and had to stay over to have work done at Cummins.
No Wi-Fi. Office lady did say you could go into town and use McDonald's if you needed it. Pot holes at entrance and exit of campground. Needs gravel all through campground as water was standing in the pads and pot holes. If looking for a place to sleep for one night it might work in an emergency situation. Campground has went down hill the last few years and it needs someone to give it some tender loving care. Laundry room was not clean so we wouldn't use it.
Suppose to have Wi-Fi and they give you a link-sys to use in your camper but I never could get it to work so I took it back. They also charge $1.00 for the use of it. Office area is a wee bit cluttered but I didn't figure I'd be sleeping in there anyway. Gentleman in office was very polite and nice. Escorted to site. They just had a lot of rain so can't degrade them for water in area. The site I was on had great electrical power as it was in the 129 volt range all night. Road into campground was paved put rest of roads and pads were gravel. I would stay here again if in the area.
Wi-Fi was OK. Gravel roads with lots of dust. Even the golf carts created dust. Kids everywhere so drive with both eyes open. Very poor electricity with 104 - 106 volts during the day. It did finally get up to 110 volts in the evening but still would not use AC because being afraid of ruining the compressor because of low voltage. Had to use fans all night and couldn't open windows. Did I mention DUST. They did have a couple of lakes for fishing and a golf driving range for the older folks. Would not return to this campground if I'm in the area. I would look for another one with better electrical power.
NO NO NO! Stay away from this mud hole. The road leading into the campground is some gravel and a lot of dirt. Frost heaves were terrible and made you think you might not make it through because of the soft road surface. Wi-Fi is lousy and sometimes you couldn't even get a signal. They have a pool but with out water in it I can't see it doing you much good. The grass has not been mowed for quite some time. The sites were not clean, in fact, I saw a woman go to the office and borrow a rake so she could clean up her site. There are deep ruts in pads. The roads inside the campground could use a lot of gravel. When making reservations the person on the phone acted like it would be a hard thing to do if I wanted to stay an extra night as she might not have a site for me. That was a big laugh since there was only five campers in the entire place. There is no one in the office from 1:00 until 4:00 so I found a site and set up and waited for the office to open. My reservations were even wrong as they had me coming in the following day. I gave her my confirmation number and she couldn't even find it but she did have my name down somewhere. I would have rated this campground a zero if I had the selection. This used to be a very nice campground but no more. I'm not sure but I think they are the only campground in the Fargo/Moorhead area and therefore can get by with just about whatever they want.
Wi-Fi is ok. No sewer hook up and the main dump is in the lower section. Only open April 15 to October 15. Picnic tables available. Public playground adjacent to the campground. Hiking and Biking trails run through park. This is a very nice city park. I stay here every chance I get when I'm in the area.
Lady in office very nice and friendly. Of the 44 sites there was 14 sites approximately 125 feet long. Wi-Fi Free. Laundry room had two washers and dryers. Very, very clean. Cost was $1.50 for washers and dryers. Good water pressure and electrical power was at 124 volts. Gravel roadways and pads with grass and picnic tables between pads. Some sites have a BBQ Grill and some don't. Park is well groomed. Office has a small RV Supply Store. Propane sales on site. Big trees for shade with a few open sites available if you have a dish. The Showers and Restrooms were impecible and they impressed me very much. A little road noise from I-29 but nothing you can't live with.
Wi-Fi cost $1.25 per night. Cable is available but it also costs and I'm not sure of price since we didn't want it. Lots of permanent residents. Propane service was available. Small RV Supply store inside office area. Office lady friendly and helpful. Sites were narrow with no privacy. Had to park tow in front of camper and half way in the street like everyone else. Had to ask camper next door to move his guests vehicle so we could even pull out of our site. There was just no room for guests to park. The pull thru sites are pull thru if you are the first one there. They are actually two back in sites. Not sure I would rate this as a pull thru. Electrical power and water pressure was very good.
A really new campground. Great for overnight but not a destination campground. Located just behind the Shop with easy access. Open all year. Gravel pads and roads leading into sites. Each site has a picnic table and trash can. The service Motorhomes and have propane service available. It rained hard the night we were there so you will find standing water around when this happens. Located next to a cattle farm but didn't have the smell. This was not a cattle lot but open grazing field. Great electrical power and Wi-Fi was free with good signal. Propane service was also available.
First let me say the campground is right in the middle of the Air Force flight path. Being an old Air Force guy I didn't mind the noise at all. It brought back a lot of old memories. Gentleman in the office was very helpful and friendly. Limo service to the Big Texan Steak House was available and the drivers were very courteous. Good water pressure and electrical power was good. Wi-Fi has a good signal with no problems connecting. No Version service in the complete town of Amarillo. Extended service was available though.
Wi-Fi signal and it is free. Located close to downtown Old Santa Fe. Sites are level. Lot of full time residents. Rv Repair person lives on site if you need help and office has a lot of business cards in office. Ask owners and they will recommend a good quality mobile service for different problems you may have. Nice shade trees. Lady in office very helpful with information on events going on in town. Water pressure is good and so is the electrical power. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
There was free Wi-Fi with good signal. Pop is a model train enthusiast and has a nice set outside. He also makes and sells miniature toy soldiers and chess sets. There was good water pressure and good electrical power. Pop is very accommodating and will let you stay beyond check out time if you want to visit the local sites. I would use this park if I'm in the area again. It is a nice stop over and just about the only RV park in town.
Park was very clean. No grass to be had as it was either asphalt or lava rock. Had to use pads under jacks and also had to use a support under your sewer hose. Staff was friendly both at the check in office and in the kennel. Price listed is an estimate as we had a package deal that included the First Class Dome car, Kennel and three night stay. If you are going to ride the train I would definitely suggest the Dome car. If you need any mechanical work like I had to have then I would suggest Canyon Gateway Tire, Auto and RV Repair. It is the Mobil Gas service station on the right as you enter Williams. I would also suggest Al's Mobile Rv Repair if you need general RV Repair work. He will come to your site. Just ask at the office and they will give you his business card. I had to use both services and they are reasonable and reliable. I can't sing enough praises for the Mobil Service station. They are very fine mechanics and do quality work.
Gentleman in the office is very helpful and nice. Escorted us to our site. Gave good information on places to see, things to do, and places to eat, maps of the area. Free Wi-Fi except signal was very weak at site 35 where we were located. Picnic table and concrete pad. Site pads are gravel. Good water pressure. I would stay here again if in the area.
Location, Location. It is in the town of Tombstone at the end of Allen Street. Lady is a wealth of information as well as her husband. She knows her town and will share information with you. Wi-Fi is still not working. Laundry was clean but only about half of the machines worked. Yes, in front of the office it is still cluttered. They offer breakfast in a small dining room at a reasonable rate. No other meals are available. Good electrical power on our site.
Office lady very helpful and polite. Night patrol from 10:00 to 6:00. No aggressive breed dogs allowed. Main roads paved, all sites are pea gravel and dust. Be sure and visit the Cattleman's Steakhouse in Fabens,Tx for a very tender and juicy steak. They also have seafood. It is located about 20 minutes from RV Park. You won't regret going there. It is also a location for many as 10 movies and countless commericals. Rate is with PassPort America. Pull through are long enough you don't have to unhook tow. Part of campground is for campers with pets and another for no pets.
This is a nice park. Very friendly office staff. Free Wi-Fi. Campground seemss well maintained. Nice cafe "Roadrunner Cafe". Serves Breakfast and Supper only with great prices. Definitely would stay here again. Lots of cactus in bloom and if you look close you may see a real roadrunner darting into the grasses.
Water pressure in park is 160 lbs. Be sure and use a regulator. Wi-Fi costs $4.95 but they did mention that it was suppose to be free starting tomorrow May 1. Just my luck. Also Passport America starts May 1. They wouldn't even give that to anyone even one day in advance. Not that is cheap in my book. Of course you only get one night at PA prices. The only way to go down town is to use the bus. The bus stop is just across the road and it is line #42. When you get ready to come back to the campground walk down to St. Marys street and stand at a bus stop that has a #42 listed on the sign and wait for a bus with the number 42 and Roosevelt Ave and Military Drive on the front read out. It cost $1.10 to ride each way and you need the correct change. Ask the bus driver where you are going to downtown and he will tell you what street you need to get off at.
This is a great place to park. Shuttle service every 15 minutes to the casino and back. All concrete pads, great electric power. Office personnel were very friendly and helpful. Wife and I were given $25.00 comp free play. If generator repair is needed as in my case the service to call is Tony's Service & Repairs, 228-323-5226. They come to the campgrounds to check out your problem and fix it on the spot if problem is not to big. He was a very nice person and his prices are reasonable. I would definitely stay here if I'm ever in the area again.
Roads are gravel but in good condition. Free WI-FI with a 3 and 4 bar strength signal. Showers and restrooms were spotless with a lot of room inside. Water was funny tasting. Price reflects Passport America discount. I would stay here again if in the area.
Good Sam discount. Campfires are allowed. Activities & facilities are to numerous to mention. Girls in office very nice. Roads were not the best and could use more gravel. All sites were gravel. This is a place to go if you have children.
Fresh water fishing, Canoe rental, play ground for kids, Deli, Camping cabins Laundry, well stocked grocery with RV camping supplies and fishing equipment. Gas station included but gas higher then down the road. Fishing piers, covered pavilion and propane sales. Gravel/Sand roads, grass/sand sites. Operation of motorized mini bikes, motorcycles and golf carts are not allowed. Lady at the desk was very pleasant.
We were located on site 102. E/W no Sewer. Very limited number of sewer sites at this park. Had to pay two dollars extra for each pet. Short walk to Fishing Pier and Beach. Bait and Tackle store with observation deck near pier. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rate is with Passport America discount. I would probably return for short visits.
This is a secure, gated 55+ park. The driveways and patios are paved and level. We stayed in the new section. 10 MPH speed limit strictly enforced. They are a pet friendly park but don't allow aggressive breed dogs. The hosts are very friendly and you are escorted to your site. This is a very nice park and we will return again when we are in the area. The lack of trees is the reason for the 8 and not a 10.
Far enough away from I-65 so no road noise. Nice little stop over campground for a one night stay. Hard to find anyone in the office. You have to take your chances of selecting a site no one has reserved. I would stay again if I was passing through the area.
Nice and quiet. The big plus is a motor home repair shop that is next door to campground and I believe owned by campground owner. I had reason to call on the repair shop and the mechanic drove his golf cart over and check out my problem of jacks not lowering. Although he could have fixed the problem, I couldn't wait the four or five days for the part to be delivered from HDH Levelers. I asked what I owed for his time and he replied no charge and he was sorry he couldn't help. I have camped here before and would definitely camp here again if I am near this resort.
Need better direction signs inside the park. Had to ask 2 different people directions to office. Last one led me to location in his golf cart. Interior roads are gravel. Very friendly staff. Passing through and will stay here again if in the area. They have a restaurant on the premises.
No washing machines but they did have dryers. Sewer smell near North restroom. Interior roads fair. Campsite had gravel pads. Passing through. Quiet and would stay there again if in the area. Just not near North restroom.
Stayed two nights. Closest campground to the Shrine. Gravel roads and sites. Very small RV supply store. Passport America campground reason for the price. Close to I-65 interstate but no noise. Nice office personnel. A nice place for a night or two but nothing much to do in campground or area.
New Resort. No sign indicating where office is located and no sign on building. It was a seek and find type of a deal. Didn't walk around and check much of it out. Large pull throughs with double wide concrete pads. I would return here if in the area. Stayed one night when passing through.
