There is a very steep, windy hill to go down to the campground. Be careful of boats coming up and the reverse on exiting. Most sites have at least a view of the lake. All sites are gravel with a fire ring and water and electric only. Some sites are up a steep hill by the shower house. This is also where the dump station is located. Large campers cannot get up the hill. The showers are old with timed water but clean. A button has to be pushed frequently to get the water to flow. Some visitors are very inconsiderate and leave their cars and boats on the road with little room for campers to get through to their spots. The host and volunteers are very nice.
This was a very nice place to stay for an overnight. It is tucked behind a motel, some restaurants and a Food Giant grocery store. The owner is very nice. We were getting in late so he just put a caution cone out so we could easily find our spot. There are not any large trees for shade but we were only here for a quick overnight. The grocery store was very convenient to get needed supplies. The only reason I gave it a 9 was for the lack of restrooms/showers. Rate is a flat $25. There are no discounts. It did not seem to matter how many people are in the party either. We would definitely stay here again if passing through.
This is a nice park but close to the expressway. We had the air on so we could not even hear any traffic. We pulled in our site and got right on the shuttle to the Big Texan. This was an awesome benefit. We were only staying for 1 night so we did not unhook. The Wi-Fi did not seem to be working. The showers are very nice with full doors and a changing area. They also provide coffee and donuts in the morning which tasted very good. The price reflects 2 adults and 2 teens with a 10% Good Sam or AAA discount. We would definitely stay here again and hopefully take advantage of the indoor pool.
We really enjoyed this campground. It sits way back from the main road. There is a small road that runs behind the campground (separated by a fence) that has little traffic. The front section where the motorhome sites are have few trees. The back section seems to be able to fit any other type of RV and has lots of trees. They escort you to your site. There is a nice above ground heated pool. There are also nice showers and laundry room both need a pass code to get in. Wi-Fi works well. They serve good homemade pizza for a reasonable price. They also serve breakfast but we never had time to try it. Price reflects 2 adults and 2 teens with a AAA discount. They staff would always bend over backwards for us. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a very nice park. We stayed in the Dutch Charlie Dakota Terraces section. Most spots have view of reservoir or mountains. There are smaller trees at most sites. Sites had a patio with a fire ring, picnic table (some had a shelter), and shared water. Water tank needed to be filled then disconnected from water spout. The showers are $1 for 4 minutes and 25c for each additional minute. So, we just showered in our camper. The price includes the $7 entry fee. We did not reserve online. If we did that, it is an additional $10 fee.
This was a nice campground with a distant view of Arches NP. The spots are close together with small trees in between most sites. There was a small unheated pool. Toilet/shower combo were individual rooms but older. The park was close to the national parks but further away from the center of Moab. Price reflects 2 adults and 2 teens with a Good Sam or AAA 10% discount.
Everyone here was very nice. Did have trouble getting to our site. We had to back up the road in order to make the turn to get to site. They were very helpful with this. We suggested they come up with a new route. There is no Wi-Fi. It was pulled since everyone could not use it. They were planning on getting a new system. The shower house is new with 2 in each the men's and women's. The regular shower was a little small but very nice. They have pass codes to get in. The river is at least visible from most sites. Sites had a patio with either a picnic table or table with 4 chairs. Most had a fire ring but not all. We would stay here again.
The campground has lots of trees. It was tough to get level and have room for slideout. The park is close to town. The showers looked decent because they were individual rooms. However, we did not use them because they were not heated. Wi-Fi was poor. We would stay here again.
The park is really nice and well maintained. Many large RVs use the campground. There are no sites that have a view of the lake but there is a trail to a viewpoint. They did not have any full hookup sites available when we were there. We had water and electric only. The dump station was very easy to get to. We had trouble finding the campground using the address. Plus, the signage in the park was not very good either.
