Stayed here in a Pop Up site 132. Plenty of things to do for Kids 9 and 14. Disc golf for free. Nice pool, biking and hiking areas. Stayed here for 5 nights and were probably the cleanest restroom showers I've ever seen camping 20 + years.
Nice park and base camp, close to all the sites. Stayed in PUP site 410 close to restrooms and level which most sites seemed to be. Kids enjoyed pool. End of season and stayed Sunday / Thursday, so not too busy. Would stay here again.
Camped here in pup. Fathers day weekend and was busy. Restrooms were spotless and well taken care of our whole stay Wednesday through Sunday. Wednesday was free if you stayed x amount of time (nice savings). The golf carts roaming around can be annoying, but other wise great CG. The kids liked the pool and jumping pillow, and have canoed lake Puckaway right down the street.
I would give a 10 but bathrooms could use a little more attention. It was well stocked but not really cleaned thoroughly, spider webs and general cleaning not the best. Cleanest fire pits I've seen, they started cleaning at each site at 8 am. Nice hiking trails and swimming pond has all kinds of inflatables for the kids. Fishing was good and indoor pool was very nice. More detail to restroom would get a 10.
Nice campground, we stayed in pop up and had to pay for sewer hook up even though we dont have toilet ect,(all they have). Nice pool area kids loved, and we used the river for canoeing. Restrooms could use a little more attention with sandy soil and pool, river near by. I prefer to pay a few more dollars a night more than have to pay for showers whae change machine was out of order.
We stayed here for 5 nights, close to all the attractions, so great base camp. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of area. Roads are gravel and rained hard one night but were quick to fix ruts. Restrooms were well taken care of. Would stay here again.
