We stayed two nights at this campground. The sites are very big, but it would make backing in easier if they were at an angle. Lots of campers and it was a hot weekend with only one pool. The campground was very clean and quiet. If you are not that interested in horses, there is still plenty of other things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.
We were here for five nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly. The sites that we had and that our friends had could have been leveled out a bit better, but over all they were good. We were not able to have a mat out in front of our fifth wheel and this caused some problems with tracking in the dirt and mud after some rain storms came through. Also they advertise fishing, however there were no fish in the pond and the smell was very unpleasant.
We located this campground by doing an internet search. From their website the campground looked and sounded nice, we were only staying one night on our way to Tennessee. There are around 20 sites at the front of the campground a few of these were pull thru. This is were our site was located, thank goodness. After dinner we walked through the rest of the campground and couldn't believe our eyes. The rest of the campground was year round seasonal for some and seasonal for the rest. After 12 years of camping and taking chances on campgrounds I believe this one wins our never, ever again award. It was truly and unbelievably scary that people actually live like this. Even for one night I would look elsewhere.
