We have stayed here several times. We really enjoy this campground. The lake/pond is nice. The sandy beach is clean. The pool is small, but nice. It was pretty warm over Memorial Day weekend. The adult hot tub is nice. They have a kiddie water park as well. They have a lot of activities for the kids. They added a new jump pad that the kids loved. Last year I complained that they were going overboard with being too strict. This time it appeared that they have let up a little. That is a good thing. They enforce quiet hours. We had a wooded site. It was not completely level. We had to work on leveling the camper. All in all, this is a great family park! It you are looking for a party zone or a super quiet place, this may not be for you. But in my opinion, they do a great job of balancing this campground so the adults can have fun along with the children. A+

We went for the Halloween weekend in October. The weather was not great - but we had a good time. They had several events for the kids on Saturday. They had a scavenger hunt, pumpkin decorating, other games, campsite decorating contests and trick or treating. They also had a professional storyteller come in and he told ghost stories by the campfire. He was VERY good. We did not swim in the lake and the pool was closed. But there were kids swimming in the lake. It was a laid back and fun time for the family. The campground was roughly half full. It was also very quiet at night. We love this campground and we will come back. It is expensive and it seemed liked they have loosened up the strict rules just a little. If you are not familiar with this area, you are out in the middle of nowhere.. you are a good twenty minutes from any stores. So be prepared for that..

This is a huge campground. My main complaints are that they really jam the campers into small sites. There is a lot of traffic throughout the campground. In addition they recently started to rent out golf carts, which adds to the traffic. If you are looking for a quiet camping experience this is probably not the right choice for you. They have bands and dances at the main pool. They have a four hour happy hour every Friday and Saturday at the pool. You see adults walking around the campground with drinks. It is also pretty loud up until quiet hours at 11PM. After that it does quiet down pretty quickly. The grounds are pretty nice. They have mainly dirt and gravel roads. The pools are nice. The playground is also pretty large. There are also smaller playgrounds in other areas of the campground. The HUGE plus is that this campground is that it is a VERY short distance from beautiful Pine Point Beach. It is also very close to Old Orchard Beach. Without the close location to the beach, I would give this campground a 5. Since it is close to the beach, I give it a 7. There are a lot of activities for the children. The bathrooms appeared to be clean. We enjoy ourselves here. We are not big drinkers, so we resign ourselves to making sure we plan to stay up until at least 11, when it quiets down. The beach makes this place worth it. If you like to drink and you love the beach this place may be a 10 for you. We do enjoy it and will probably return again.

The only reason why we have this park a 9 and not a 10 is the cost. It is a very expensive campground. That being said, we LOVE this campground. The high prices results in a family oriented campground made up of professionals.. It is not a party campground.. we love that! The grounds are very neat. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are warm. The pools are very nice. The staff opens doors for you and is very respectful. We have four kids and there are NUMEROUS activities all day.. There are multiple events all day on every half hour. Our kids participated in Capture The Flag, Dodge Ball, Parachute Play, Kids Bocci competition, Candy Bar Bingo, pool games, movies at night, etc. That only scratches the service on the number of activities they have available every day. The campground is also a short distance from Gillette Stadium.. We were camping for a concert. But this campground is great for football games or pre-season camp. This is truly top notch camping. You pay for it, but in our opinion it is worth it. There are also many pull through sites and they are pretty level with gravel. The sites are pretty large. The fire pits are not great, they are old tire rims. So they are pretty small, but we were able to have a decent campfire. All in all, this is one of the best we have been to! A+!

This is the 4th time we have stayed here. I will explain why we have only given the campground a 7. We LOVE Pine Acres! The campground is very clean. It is very well run. They have wooded sites,a nice beach on the 70 acre pond. They also have a nice pool and water park. Both are small, but still nice. They have a nice large adult hot tub. They have a decent playground with a baseball/whiffle ball field, a new dog park, you can rent paddle boats etc. This is a FANTASTIC family campground. There is more of a yuppie camping vibe in this park, which we are fine with. The park itself is fantastic. We have four children and do not drink very much. We like the fact that the rules are very strict. They STRICTLY enforce quiet hours and keep the park very clean. My problem is that I almost feel that they are too strict. They had people literally patrolling the campground all day and night on golf carts. It almost gives the feeling of being uneasy. I witnessed three separate warnings given to other campers for very minor issues. One was that a camper needed to move their extra car to a parking lot. There was plenty of room at the site. Then we had friends who had rented a cabin for a week. They had to check in late due to the cabin having a leak that needed to be fixed. They paid over $1,000 for the week and did not get any type of price break for the inconvenience. Then they decided to stay a couple of hours on their last day to spend time with us at the beach. They checked out of their cabin on time. But they were charged an additional $40.00 to remain in the park for a couple of hours. Needless to say, they were VERY angry. The park also nickels and dimes you for extra children, guests, pets, etc. The prices are already expensive and they really gouge you at every turn. I did not use the public showers. But my wife did and she said the water was freezing cold. For the amount you pay to camp here the showers should be warm. Even with my complaints. we would return again. We really love the park. The staff needs to ease up a little. We like strict, but we are not looking to be disciplined like children while paying a lot of money to camp. If you like to drink and stay up late, this is NOT the campground for you. It is an EXCELLENT family park. If you are not familiar with this area, it is out on the middle of nowhere. We spoke with some who complained about having to drive 35 minutes to find a grocery store. That is pretty accurate.

We camped the weekend before Memorial Day weekend. The park was maybe half full. We had an excellent site. It was site number 88 with a view of the lake/pond. The pool only opened on Sunday. So we enjoyed the pool and small water park for a couple of hours. The park was clean and quiet. The sides are wooded and fairly large. They have a new dog park. The pond has a small beach that was pretty empty when we went. The water was warm. There was quite a bit of muck on the floor of the pond. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our four kids had other kids to play with. There were activities for the children. This is not a party campground. It is also not a super resort with tons of activities. But if you are looking for a nice campground, that is quiet and family oriented, I think you will like it here. They enforce quiet hours and the more expensive price seems to keep the party crowd out of the park. I will say that some of the sites look pretty tough to back into. The roads are paved but pretty curvy. Anyway.. this was our second trip here and we really like it.. We would certainly come back again..

We stayed for Columbus Day weekend. Bayley's has a Halloween weekend over Columbus Day weekend. The weekend was OUTSTANDING! They had numerous activities for children and adults. Sites competed to build elaborate Halloween decorated sites. People build haunted houses and some of the sites were amazing! The winners received free weeks and weekend of camping next season. There was an unhaunted hayride through the campground for young children. Then a VERY scary haunted hayride. It was complete with all of the Jason's, Michael Myers, guys with chainsaws, etc. This ride was NOT for young children. They had campsite trick or treating, costume contest, etc. We have already booked for next year. Again; Pine Point Beach is beautiful. The pools were heated and pretty warm. Our kids had a blast. The campsite was crowded. I believe I heard that most of the 700 sites were full. But the park was pretty quiet by 11 every night. Our site # 90 was much larger than our site from last summer. My only complaint was that the staff is not as warm and fuzzy as other places. They do not go out of the way to open doors, etc. But that complaint is reaching. Bring your own firewood! It is $10.00 for a bag of wood. All in all an excellent weekend! Even though this campground is crowded, we met a lot of great people and never felt that we didn't have our own space. If you have kids, book your Halloween weekend for next year today. As my six year old said, trick or treating at home will not be as good as our Halloween weekend at Bayley's. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet weekend. This might not be the weekend for you.

This is the 2nd year in a row we have camped here. We love everything about it. Large sites, the waterpark is the best we have seen. Not a party campground.. great family activities. We gave it a 10 last year and a 9 this year. Only reason we did not give it another 10 was the girl that checked us in was a little rude. We were 20 minutes early. But the ride from home was 3 hours and 15 minutes. There was no traffic etc. so we made good time. She let us in.. no one had the site the night before. But scolded us for being early and warned us to leave on time. Started with a sour taste in our mouths. But the rest of the trip was fantastic!

Our only complaint was that we had a very small site. We were at D8. It was the smallest site we had ever had. When walking around, we noticed many larger sites. The resort was incredible. One of the very best we have been to. The staff was VERY friendly. We were treated like VIP's everywhere we went. The staff held doors open for us at every pool entrance every time we entered and exited. It rained the first two days we were here, but we were able to swim for hours at the indoor pool. The outdoor heated pool was pretty warm. The two outdoor unheated pools were very cold. They had a lot of activities for our children. The playground was outstanding. The pond was fun for the kids who brought fishing poles etc. The rec hall was very nice with a games arcade. They had movies at night for the kids. They have a full basketball court etc. Check in was very fast. We really have no complaints other than our site size. But we forgot about that quickly with everything else being so outstanding. The campground is also about 4 miles from Gillette Stadium. My wife and daughter had a short drive to see Taylor Swift. The park is kept up very nicely. Only reason we gave it a 9 and not a 10 was the site size. We would without question return.

I will start with our largest complaint about this park. The sites were super small. There was VERY little space between our camper and our neighbors. We generally prefer larger, more private sites. The fire pit also left much to be desired. That being said, we had a very good time. We stayed a Wednesday through Sunday. The only night that was somewhat noisy was the Wednesday night. There was a party a few campsites down that got loud. There was also a guy playing guitar and singing with a microphone to a group of people at another site. He was pretty good. Once quiet hours hit (11PM), an employee came to all sites and instructed everyone to put out their fire's and keep the noise down. They came back a second time to enforce it. It got quiet with the exception of a few rogue yells until about 1AM. Thursday through Saturday were very quiet. The grounds and pools were nice. The rules at the pool are strictly enforced. We have 4 children 7 and under; they loved the pools, playground, game room, and the numerous activities scheduled day and night. Forget about Old Orchard Beach, etc. Pine Point Beach is about 1/2 mile from the resort and it was outstanding; not too crowded, white sand beach, warm water, nice waves for young kids without a strong undertow. You can take the trolley for free or drive. There is a lot right on the beach for $10.00. $5.00 after 3PM. The playground set is large so beware with little ones. My three year old injured his foot and spent the vacation in a cast. It was his fault (and ours) but just be warned. If the site had been larger, we would have given this place a 9. The site floor was gravel and there was barely enough room for our hybrid camper and Tahoe. The place was also very expensive. We would most likely come back.

This place was outstanding! The sites were very large. The pirate ship water park and pool was alot of fun for the kids and parents. They have two waterslides that were fun for all. They have a game room, fishing pond, playground, snack bar, etc. We are not big drinkers and have been looking for family friendly parks. This park does not allow drinking anywhere other than at the campsites. They strictly enforce quiet hours. The campground was quiet for the four nights we stayed there. In our opinion this is what camping is. This park is in the woods! Lincoln NH is about 30 minutes away, so is Plymouth. Other than that, there is pretty much nothing. We were about a one hour drive from Santa's Village. We will without question return here! Out of our five trips this summer, this place was the best! Our kids: ages 7,5,3, and 14 months also had a blast! A+ all the way!!

We camped for two nights. We live a couple of towns away. We were here for a Saturday and Sunday night. The campground was pretty full but did not feel like it. The park was VERY quiet at night. People observed and respected quiet hours. The beach was clean and the swimming area had a sandy, clean floor. The pool and the water park were also fun. Our kids spent time in the game room and had fun. We missed the Saturday activities due to rain. But there were some scheduled. There was a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts etc. The park is somewhat hilly. So some of the sites were not level. Be prepared to level your camper. Some of the sites were tricky to back into. I got into mine despite being new at backing in to sites though. All in all an excellent experience, we would most certainly go back again.

This campground is located next to Storyland. You can walk to the park. It was a pretty basic campground with a pool and playground. There were open space sites and wooded sites. This campground was not fancy. But we found it quaint, the staff was helpful, the other campers were friendly. This was our first camping trip with our camper. People came over to help us set up our awning. We had other neighbors that had a guitar and the man sang childrens songs for our kids. People followed the quiet hours rules. The campground was quiet over Memorial Day weekend. They had hay rides for the kids. But there were no other activities for the kids. The sites were not huge, but we did not feel cramped. There were numerous wooded sites still available. But we were told they were buggy. It was very convenient to be so close to Storyland. Our kids had a great time. There are only 93 sites, so it was a smaller park and wasn't noisy. No golf carts either. We would return here. It was very affordable also.

I will start with the disclaimer that we stayed from Sunday through Thursday the week before the 4th of July. The campground was 75% empty during our stay, so it was quiet. Not sure it would be, if the campground was full. All the sites near us were empty. So we had plenty of privacy and quiet. The sites were very small and would have been crowded if all full. That being said: our 4 kids, 7 and under had a blast! The water park was outstanding. There were activities scheduled all day including relay races, arts and crafts, lunch and hayrides with Yogi, Booboo, and Cindi, pots and pan glow stick parade, candy bar bingo etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park was clean. We (the parents) had fun as well. The park is about 20 minutes to Weirs Beach. It was a very good experience and we would certainly return. However, I heard from other campers and staff members that during busy weekends, it turns into a party campsite and the activities for children become overcrowded. So, we will plan our next trip during an off week. We were also given a site up in the woods. It was a bit of a walk to the pool and big playground. When we go back, we will ask for a site closer to the pool and playground.

We checked into the park on Saturday afternoon. The park was OK. The sites are close together. The water in the lake was VERY murky and dirty. The kids still swam and had fun. There were hundreds of golf carts buzzing by our campsite all day and night. We were worried our young kids would get hit. Then Saturday night hit. There were drunks driving around all night yelling and screaming. The yelling, singing, screaming, and drunken related noise went on until 4AM! There was no one enforcing quiet hours. It was very noisy and not a good place for a family with young children. The water slides were pretty good but very costly at 10 bucks a piece for a family of 6. Sunday was quieter. The drunks went home. But then we got a special treat Sunday night. At the campsite diagonally across from us. A 60 year old grown man was outside chopping wood in his speedo style underwear for hours. The campers next to us packed up their children and left early due to the senior citizen peep show. If you like to booze until 4am and screaming all night while dodging golf carts while watching grown men chopping wood in their grape snuggles: you may like this place. This is NOT a family friendly campground. We will not return!
