This park is very serene and city park-like. The sites are on grass and not all sites appeared to be level. The campground is just a couple of blocks from town and could easily be walked to. It is a pretty basic campground. The bathrooms/showers are in a small, barn-like structure and are pretty basic. The night we camped here, we were the only campers aside from the camp host. There are only a few sites which appeared to be large enough for big rigs. It's a nice place for an overnight stop. We travel in a 38' footer.
This is a pleasant, quiet, no frills campground. It is located in a city park and very laid back. Pads are fairly level but sites are pretty close together. About half are pull-through, the others are back-in. There were only a few other RVs during our stay so it was very quiet. The volleyball pit along the lake seems to be a popular spot and games (and noise) can go late into the night. It is very convenient to I-35 and close to town. As such, we could slightly hear the highway traffic, but it wasn't bad. We didn't use the bathrooms: and wouldn't want to. There are no showers and 2 very non-private stalls (partial walls, no doors). Also, they weren't terribly clean (think typical city park). It states big-rig friendly but it was pretty tight to get in with a 38' fifth wheel. The price is good for full hookups, and it worked well for us. We would stay here again.
