We stayed here as a stop over. We found the staff very helpful. Sites are gravel and level. We had to do some computer work for our son and the owner assisted with a smile. We are impressed with their customer service. Not much here but a great stop over.
This a very nice park. Appears there are several snowbirds here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Only problem is the lanes are fairly narrow, but staff went out of their way to assist us getting parked. Will stay here again.
What a nice family park. We camped in the first section (15) and enjoyed at least partial shade most of the day. Large lawn behind site made for a very comfortable stay except for the heat (not their fault). Only marks off a very nice stay is that the road is narrow. It took a little skill to get into the site. Once in, it is wide and clean although gravel. would definitely stay here again. Oh the pool is great and admission is included for all in your party for your entire stay.
This a very clean and tidy park. We stayed here on our rpi card. Found they have very strict pet policies but we made it work. Very impressed they had a pedestrian crossing bridge which led to a huge city park. Our dag could run and swim without any isues. Problem was that they put on a site right against the freeway. So noisy we had trouble sleeping.
This was a stop over on the way home. Very nice and spacious park. We were surprised to see the office open at eight pm. A little noise from hiway and rail line but not bad. We will return to this park when we explore the area.
One of the best run and nicest parks we have stayed at. Interior roads are very narrow but we got in ok. Nice large spot and staff nice and helpful. Security was almost to good. Was not going to allow pizza guy in. It is a bit of a walk to the nearest casino. We either walked or drove and parked in the lot, then took the free shuttle. Taxi is 35 to strip! Very nice, will stay here again.
We used this as a base for Northern CA. The new section is great. A little awkward finding the road, but the sites are easy to back in. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and went out of Their way to help. Only problem was no internet but not their fault. Definitely would stay here again.
This is our favorite KOA. When things did not work out at another park, we called to sneak in a night early. They welcomed us and went out of their way to assist us. The site was wide and easy to get in and the views spectacular. The pet area is fenced and well kept up. On the bottom of this scenic park is a RV resort for class A motorhomes. Not a blade of grass out of place and overall the entire park is very neat and clean. We he stayed here many times and will in the future.
After a long day on the road, we called and told there was a deluxe site available for $52.00. Pulled in to a dusty, crowded, small park. Staff very nice to work with but the park was not very suitable for us. They gave us the site and told us we would have to park the truck else where as the site was 35 feet. Once I snaked my way through parked vehicles, dodged kids on motorbikes and of course the dust, we arrived at our site. A motorhome prevented a short turn and the trailer across the alley prevented a wide turn into our 'drive through' site. After one failed attempt, we drove back to the office to try another site. They were full and did offer a overflow site (for $50.00 with only power!) We kept going down the road.
This is a clean and easy to navigate park. Sites are in front of large mobile home park. Residents would drive through very fast and not slow for pedestrians. Even with a confirmation and the paperwork, they messed up our reservation and told us we were a day late. Told us if we stayed more than a day, we would have to move sites. Found out they had a caravan coming in and were making several units move to accommodate this group. We left after a night. Lots to do and easy walk to town. We loved the area, just not very happy with the staff, although very nice and it looked like they tried to work it out.
We stayed here through RPI. The sites seemed tight until we backed in and was greeted by wood decks, a patio and a gas barbecue. We stayed in what they called the overflow, but all were RPI type campers. The laundry, pool and exercise areas not to mention the restrooms were very nice and well cared for. Not much supervision of the pool area, but most behaved themselves. We loved this park and will definitely be back
A very nice and quiet park. Only issue were the trains going near the campground. No horns, but you could hear them, it didn't bother us. A very diverse and friendly crowd was here during our stay. The sites are grass, very nice but a little narrow. It was ok for our three day stay, and there were plenty of walking opportunities nearby.
This is one of our favorite K&M Parks. Nothing fancy, but the staff is great, and the sites are well laid out on the beach side. Only problem is on the second row off the ocean, the sites slope front to back. Don't drop the legs much and extend your front stabilizers quite a ways as you will have to drop the front quite a bit after unhooking your trailer. Once I have done it one time, it has been easy from then on. It is quiet and the ocean lulls you to sleep. Bad weather is common here so pack accordingly.
With past reviews, I was hesitant to make the two hour drive, but we were very glad we did. The interior roads have been graveled and are in good shape. WI-FI worked from our site, and overall the park was in very good shape. They have done a lot of work if past reviews are an indicator. We had tons to do, and lots to do in the area. This is a K&M park, but you can stay without being a member for $35.00 per night.
