Great little park with nice amenities. Lots of permanent guests, but everyone was friendly. Nice lake for the boys to fish. Very quiet at night. Level, pull-thru sites even for our large 5th wheel. We'd stay here again. Price reflects charge for 2 additional people.
We stopped here for one overnight stay only on our way home. Didn't use the facilities at all, but the staff was very nice. They directed us to our spot, even though we arrived after the office was closed. They didn't charge us for our 2 kids (one was under 12 and they comped us for the 16-yr old since we didn't use the facilities). Nice, older park - some highway noise, but not too bad. We would stay here again.
Sites were very close together, but very shady and right on the stream (price is $4 extra for a stream site). My boys fished outside our back window and caught a few small brown trout. There are many lakes close by as well, so they had a great time. It was tough to get into our space since it was a back-in location, but they provide spotters to help, so we got in there pretty quickly. On-site staff is very friendly and very helpful. Mr. Barnett helped us find some area lakes for fishing and gave us some tips on lures and bait. We would definitely camp here again.
Great place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Monument Valley itself is just awesome and the Goulding RV park is nestled in at the bottom of a couple of beautiful buttes. We took their full moon tour of the park and it was a wonderful experience. Park personnel were very friendly and helpful. My son locked the keys in our truck (while it was running), and the Maintenance crew had us unlocked in about 5 minutes. That's service! We would definitely camp here again.
Nice little park for an overnighter. Right next to WalMart and the freeway, so it wasn't very dark or quiet. We got there after midnight and self-check-in was easy. Sites were easy to access with plenty of room to put out the slides and awning. Nice shady areas with picnic tables. We would camp here again.
Great place to stay. Nice welcome and very helpful staff. Good playground and pool and easy access to National Parks close by. They provide a nice pancake breakfast outdoors in the mornings. Nice touch! Best overall campground we've used. We would stay here again.
Very nice little park, but there was only one tree large enough to provide shade. We took that spot, but it was still very hot. This wouldn't be a place you'd want to stay more than one night, but it was nice and cost-effective for a single-night stopover. No showers or restrooms available that we saw, but we use the ones on our rig anyway. Owner was very nice and hospitable, although she wasn't there when we arrived. Easy to check in, find a spot and hook up. Easy access to some cute Route 66 diners.
We purchased the train and RV parking package, and it was great, but they don't separate the cost of the park from the train ticket price so that's why the rate is so high. The park is well-lit, sites are big enough for any rig, and the restrooms and laundry were cleaner than any I've ever visited. There is absolutely no shade, but that didn't bother us since it wasn't too hot. Mornings were cool, but the train horn will definitely wake you up early! We used the pool and the workout facilities in the hotel. The pool was very crowded since both hotel and RV park personnel use it. We would camp here again.
