This is our third year staying at Woodland. Each time we return the improvements made over the last winter are very evident. The owner is on site and working every day. The park is very clean, well landscaped with level gravel sites. If you like fly fishing the Kootenai River is some of the best in the country.
I rarely comment on campgrounds if I feel previous comments are accurate. I'm commenting on this park because of the electrical issues mentioned in previous comments. We too had problems with consistent power. Out power went on and off. I must be parked close the same fellow who told the previous camper that the problem was that he was a 50a plugged into a 30a box. I was told the same thing and told to go inside and throw the switches from 50 to 30 amps. I explained noting like that existed, and besides it is 65 outside and we are using virtually no power. When I showed him our Progressive Industries surge protector indicated the power was fluctuating between 105v and 119 volts he got upset and told me the park had no problems and it was our rig. Moral to the story, although the park is very nice, they do have power problems.
A very nice clean family owned and run park. Large grass spots easy pull through and back in with wide road access. This is the second generation running the park. It is perfectly maintained with large concrete slab at each spot so you step out on concrete rather than grass. Hugh area to walk your dog. Free paddle boats on the lake. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.
This was our second stay at Fish and Fry. We find the park to be clean and friendly. The owners and staff are very helpful. The spaces are large and easily accessible. If you don't care about satellite TV the sites under the trees are great.
This is very spacious park. The sites are large with plenty of room between them. A very large storm, locals say the biggest in 10 years, came through and flooded our site #75. It is the same storm that brought a tornado to Denver. After the storm cleared they were on the spot and brought in new gravel and we were back to a great site. They continually apologized for the storm! We will keep this park high on our return list.
This is a friendly quiet family run park. The owners are the best, and having recently purchased the park are working daily to make it even nicer. Deer daily in the park and a great dog run. Although there are no pull thru sites the road is so wide with sweeping turns that I easily backed in our 38' fifth wheel. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.
We stayed 2 nights in March of 2012. We found the park to be quiet, clean, spacious with very friendly staff. The spaces are large enough to accommodate large rigs. The dog beach was great. The reservation system is excellent.
