We thought we would stay for 2 nights and ended up for 6. The owner was as helpful as could be. He let me borrow a skill saw and his wife brought out home-grown tomatoes. The neighbors were friendly, too. We would definitely stay again.
One of the lovliest campgrounds we have seen. They accept the Golden age Passport and give 50% discount. Sites are easy to get into, both pull through and back-in. Clean as can be, didn't see even a gum wrapper on the ground. Almost hate to review this campground because right now it is a well kept secret. We will come back.
Well maintained site. Half price for over 65 or handicapped Florida residents. Spacious gravel sites, well drained. Everyone we met was friendly. Host campers well informed. Extremely quiet. Some sites reserved for horse trailers. Also facilities for day equestrians. Lots of horse trails. One of the best kept secrets in the Ocala area. We will camp here again.
Well maintained, private, adult campsite. Wide streets, wide sites. No one in office on Saturday or Sunday, someone from the maintenance staff saw us and got us our site number but we might have waited if no one noticed us. Our site was close to the Tamiami Trail but was surprisingly quiet. We would stay here again.
Park is billed as pull thru sites but you cannot make the turn into the site without stopping and starting a couple of times. Sites are very close together. Sewer connection was hidden in the grass and a flower pot was used as the cover. Getting out of the site was more of a challenge. Could not pull forward, had to back out, making the same number of turns. I probably would not camp here again.
