The pool was closed and filled with stagnant water. I'm not sure if they have plans to fix this. It's a little difficult to get here from the highway due to construction in the surrounding area. The road is dirt all the way in. The campground is nice with a lot of trees but the sites definitely need to be paved or at least gravel. There was a lot of rain two of the nights we stayed and our site ended up surrounded by water. Some of the bigger rigs ended up leaving tire trenches in the sites as they pulled out. If you can, I recommend staying at Lindenwood Park.
The campground was in a nice location and newer, but we couldn't understand why it was empty. We soon found out. There was a serious lack of width space. My steps folded out into a bush on a downslope. The sewer point was uphill, so I ended up using the site's next to mine. There were so many rules and listed fines for violations that we were afraid to do anything. The first two adults are included in the rate, so I ended up paying extra for my two teenagers (children weren't free!). I highly recommend driving down the road a little further.
