We had site 27 a lovely site by the beautiful Chalk Creek in the lower camp ground. The place is kept immaculate and is possibly the best kept place we have ever stayed in. Very friendly owners. The only thing letting it down is the proximity to the main road and the inherent roar of trucks at night. Lower campgrounds sites don't have water and sewer, but are worth it for the shade and the stream.
Lovely park with big sites right by the Missouri River. Can be a bit noisy with cars going by at night. Water and electricity. A quiet location but not too far from Bismarck.
Very friendly park with paved sites that are very big. Great club house and fabulous pool. Very quiet. Many sites are owned but rented out in summer and in the shoulder seasons. Ring ahead first to check.
The campground has pull throughs which are very close together and about the same number of backins which are not long and quite difficult to access. We experienced noisy motorbikes late at night and people arriving next to us very late at night. The lake is well away from the campsite and the campground is close to the road. It's not a pace for long stays but might be alright for an overnight. In short: no ambience.
