Nice location, close to river, quiet, a little something for everyone. Some very nice sites with river view - pull in orientation, but if you want a view well worth it. The upper spots on the hill are somewhat remote but offer a good view as well. Some sites are a little tighter and cramped together than others but overall a nice park. Not much in the way of pull thrus, everything I saw was pull-in/back out or back in. Far enough off the beaten path to make it quiet but close enough to town. Walking distance to Sleeping Lady resort which allows guests to walk with dogs on their grounds. Very nice facilities and surrounding area for dogs. Never had a problem with rules or management like others noted. Plenty of camp hosts to help and staff did a great job of helping guests coming and going. We'd come here again.
Nice new park with great facilities. A kind of hybrid park with RV, Park Model and Houses on the lots. Lots for sale. We were just looking for overnight but decided to unhook the toad and back in because this place looked so nice and it was. Would be nice if they had some pull throughs but they seem to be going after the longer term market. Nice grounds, top notch facilities. Internet worked well. Nice big dog park with grass and shade trees. We'd come back here again.
Nice enough for a state park but pricey. I think this is the most expensive place we stayed during this trip and others were RV resorts with FHU, cable and pools, etc. for less than this. You can pick up a few SD TV channels on Antenna here. Some sites are roomier than others with some backing up to common grassy areas (inner circle). Its a long walk to the beach, but since its all back in we drove the toad to the town and beaches. It does fill up on weekends but everyone respected quiet time at 10PM. I might look for another park if I am in this area again.
We like this place and try to stop by outside of snowbird season. Nice facilities, nice park but not a big mega park like some in the area. Grounds are nice and good sized dog park. Internet worked well.
We've stopped here several times on our way up and down I-5 and use it as an overnight. It's convenient but their pull through sites are not their nicest spots: gravel, no grass, no shade. We had problems with their internet the last few stops here. Seems like they are getting overloaded with users. But the facilities are always nice and grounds well kept.
Good for an overnight on your way down I-5. Easy on and easy off the freeway but far enough for little road noise. Dog park is small but there is a small grassy area near the fire house across the street that appears to be dog friendly (with doggy bags). We'd stay here again for an overnight.
Nice Park. We stayed here on our way down 101. Facilities are nice and clean. Hard to go wrong on the Oregon coast. Fishing seems to be a big draw here, and our neighbors shared some of their fresh crab with us. Very nice! The Rogue brewery next door was fun as well. Fresh beer and Pub food was great. Plenty of room around the park to walk the pup. We would stay here again.
Big spacious park. Had a great time here and the location is great. Make sure and check out Custer State Park and the Needles highway, not to mention Mt. Rushmore. The park has everything you need and I've never seen such a big spread. Would stay here again.
Stopped here for a night on our way back from MN. Adequate facilities, cable and Wi-Fi. We hit some bad thunderstorms on the way and this was an "Oasis" for us. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again if passing though.
Great place for overnight on a long trip. No frills, but everything you need. Clean restrooms, Wi-Fi, pull through sites and helpful staff. Camping in a cornfield at its finest. Like I said, nothing fancy but everything needed for a overnight stop or longer. Would stay here again.
Decent Park. Good facilites, pool, hot tub etc. But like most KOA's they pack you in. Felt crowded, and tight. If you like the amenities and activites of KOA, then this is a great one. Myself, I look for something a little quieter and roomier. Good place to stop while passing through though but kind of pricey for a 1 night stop.
Really nice park. We stopped here for a night on our way to MN and really enjoyed it. It is a place we would come back to when we have time to explore the area. The park is well kept and the facilities were great. Its far enough from the freeway that we did not even hear it. Don't know how others would have problems with noise. Would definitely stay here again.
Great state park with a great location - we could hear the ocean from our site. Spaces are big with fire pits and picnic tables. Pet friendly place with doggie "bags" and plenty of room for the pup to run. Pup loved to run on the beach in the early morning. Plenty of room and privacy. Easy walk to to the beach from the Campsites from numerous trails. The beach is big and not that crowded. Plenty of room for everyone. The area around the state park is not much to speak of. A few good restaurants and shops but not much else. Bennet's restaurant is good and I would return there again for the crabcakes! I would return here again but would spend my my time on the beach and in the park.
A decent park and location to other facilities. Our first impression of staff was not great but that changed during our stay. We were here just after the busy season, so we almost had the place to ourselves. We would stay here again but might try the north campground in Bryce Canyon NP first.
This is a nice RV park with a trailer park feel. Not our favorite place to stay on our trip. Seemed like a lot of long term residents and I have never seen so many cars: and not toads or tow vehicles. All the cars parked along the access roads made maneuvering in and out kind of tight. Not a big fan of outlet malls either, so not sure what the draw for this place is and it was full the Friday night we were there. An Arby's and Starbucks within walking distance. Good facilities/areas for our dog. Okay I guess for a night, but next time in this area I would drive further and look for another park.
A very nice park with a great location near town. Facilities were clean and maintained and the staff helpful. The pool was solar heated, so that meant kind of cold for the 100 degree weather but still a nice break from the weather. Nice little dog run for the pup. Make sure and check out the deep fried dill pickles at the Green Barn Restaurant, a short walk away. We would stay here again.
A nice new park and facilities. Not sure I would call it a destination RV park but it was great facility for our overnight stay. It's close to the freeway but not too noisy. Good facilities for dogs as well, great walking trail outside the park but charged an extra $2 for our dog. Had some problems with the Wi-Fi: intermittent connections. We would stay here again if we were passing through.
A very nice park with some very large spaces. We stayed in one of the executive sites (83), so we had a large grassy area next to our coach. The creek access and swimming hole was very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a bit of a walk into town. We would stay here again.
Park was very nice with great views of the lake. Nice and clean facilities. We stayed mid week and after the busy season and almost had the place to ourselves. Its a pretty good walk to the lake and to the resort if you want to use the pool but lake was closer if you wanted to take cooling dip. Didn't have any problems finding the place as others stated but asked the park ranger when we paid our entrance into the park. We will definitely come back here and stay longer.
This park is very nice. One of the nicest we have been in. The location, on the otherhand is not as great: freeways, refineries, and in an industrial area, etc., otherwise I would rate it higher. But what you get in the park is top notch. Clean restrooms/showers, nice pool and all around top notch facilities. Nice areas for dogs and a walking trail too. We would stay here again.
Good park for an overnight stay. Pull through sites and the facilities are clean and maintained but would not stay for a longer period. Location was okay, easy access to freeway but far enough away that the noise was not a problem. It seemed like a quite a few long term residents in this park as well.
This is a busy park with a lot going on. There is river access for swimming, tube rental for floating down river, lots of stuff for kids to do. Some of the spots are tight and they really pack you in here. We stayed in the main park but the meadow looked a little quieter out there. There are some tight spots maneuvering as well but had no problems with a 33 foot motorhome. Overall, facilities are decent considering the volume of people and kids here. We would go back but if its just the wife and I, we would rather find somewhere quieter.
Nice Park close to the water and downtown Oak Harbor. The City Park is very nice and well maintained. The sites are all gravel so bring your patio rug. Fairly close together but plenty of room for slide outs. The location is great near the large city park, lots of room for the dog to walk, run or swim at the beach. We will go here again.
Very Nice Park. Pads and roads are asphalt. Some are a bit narrow with the trees, we could not put out our awning but really did not need to for shade. Short walk to the beach and Haystack Rock, a little further if you want to get into downtown CB. Family oriented with the swimming pool and hot tub but after 8PM its adults only. Plenty of room to walk the dog. We would stay here again.
An Okay RV park and location. It is walking distance to Deception Pass state park but there is not much else to do around here. Our Dog did like the state park. Facilities are decent, paved pads, picnic table and fire pits. There were several empty sites while we there on a weekend. We never had problems with the manager such as others have mentioned.
