Last year, we discovered a new campground in Walland, TN, Misty River RV. This campground is on the quiet side of the Smoky Mountains. It is beside the Little River, off Highway 321. Misty River has private bathrooms that are very clean and nice. The owner has a friendly welcome for his campers. We sometimes camp in the hustle bustle of Sevier County, but it was nice to enjoy the relaxed, scenic atmosphere available at Misty River.
Lakeview RV Park in Bluff City, TN is the campground our Tri-Cities relatives recommended. We are glad they did. This new campground is a great place to camp. It is a Passport America Park. The bath house has all private bathrooms, which are very clean. The campground overlooks Boone Lake and offers pontoon boat rental in the summer. We are NASCAR fans so we were excited to find the campground runs a shuttle to and from the spring and fall NASCAR races. We plan to go back for both the spring and fall race weeks. The campground has all the amenities, but the best thing about it is the warm welcome the manager, Paula, gives campers. She says her goal is to make campers feel that Lakeview is there "Home Away From Home," and she succeeds.
Deer Run RV Resort in Crossville, TN is a lovely campground. We camped there in October, and enjoyed the beautiful fall colors of the cumberland plateau area. The owner, Kim, makes campers feel welcomed and at home. The campground is clean and well maintained. We were glad to find that Deer Run is a Passport America Park.
Riveredge RV Park is our favorite campground in the Sevier County area. It is convenient to all the Smoky Mountain attractions. The family that owns the campground welcomes their campers. The most amazing thing about Riveredge RV Park is the bathrooms. The granite countertops and private showers are what you would expect in a five star hotel.
