This is a great little park off the beaten path and set in the corner of a pasture. A unique little rustic park with level sites and the perfect location for sightseeing in Cajun country. Ask them about their alternating crops of rice and crawdads and get a tour of the farm. This place is charming and unique. We will stay here again. Rate reflects a Passport America discount.
We found this park while looking for a place to hold a club rally. It is a terrific facility. With a combination of cabins, RV sites, and tent sites as well as indoor facilities for group use in inclement weather, it is perfect for rallies, reunions or just a place to stay while visiting the many sites of the Black Hills. The facilities are immaculate and the owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. AT&T cell reception is non-existent but Verizon is strong. This will be our regular stop when in the area. They do honor Passport America with some of the usual restrictions.
I hesitate a bit to review this gem of an RV park lest too many people discover it. This is a one of a kind park with sites set on the first tee of a golf course. The sites are wide and grassy. It is owned and run by a husband and wife team that really care and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We would definite stay here when in the area. The rate reflects Passport America.
Mostly a basic fairgrounds parking lot with hookups but there are many grass and shaded sites as well. The on-site managers are as friendly and helpful as we have ever encountered. Restrooms were squeaky clean and the Wi-Fi was screaming fast. Well lit and very safe feeling. Very convenient to all local attractions. Be sure to ask about the senior rate. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
One of the nicest small parks we have stayed in. Clean level sites, easy pull-through. Friendly, helpful staff, escorted us to our site and made sure we were OK with hook ups, etc. Truck stop and casino next door was convenient for a quick meal and and convenience store items. Even though just off I-10, highway noise was not an issue. Would stay here again when in the area.
Maybe the best state park we have stayed in to date. Exceptionally clean facilities. Level sites. A short walk over the dunes to the gulf. Friendly staff as well. We'll stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
This park is actually just outside Knoxville so is conveniently located for the Smoky Mountain attractions as well. We were there for about 6 weeks and were treated like family. Owner / managers were absolutely terrific, helpful and responsive. They even hosted a Christmas party for guests complete with BBQ, Santa, and homemade cookies. We definitely will stay there when in the Knoxville area.
Small owner managed park with a beautiful setting on a lake. We arrived on a very cold blustery Sunday and the owner showed us to our site: a great site on the lake, level, wide and with a deck. He stayed until we were parked and hooked up to be certain that everything was good and we were comfortable. Be sure and get his restaurant recommendations. They were terrific. We would definitely stay there again when in the area.
