This very well maintained park is located along the Columbia river directly across the bridge (hence the name) from Hood River Oregon. No access to the river but some sites have a nice view of it. Also rented the cottage. A very nice two bedroom fully equipped unit that can easily hold a family of four.
I’ve stayed at this park a number of times. The ‘A’ loop has water and electric and cable TV. Portions of the ‘B’ loop have water, electric and sewer. The ‘C’ & ‘D’ loops have mixed water and electric.. no sewer or cable TV. The park is generally quiet and well maintained with state park rates well below commercial parks. A sort walk to the ocean. Many of the ‘A’ loop site s have an ocean view. Site sizes vary from large to small.
This is a 10 star RV park. All sites are extremely well maintained. In addition to cable TV, all sites have a clear view of Dish satellites. My stay included a $10 off coupon for lunch/dinner at the casino restaurants as well as some free 'chips' at the casino. Sites are roomy and two sewer hookups, one at each end of the rig, for use.
6 stars not because of the park: see review. This is a beautiful park along a river. Almost all the sites are amongst the very tall pine trees so satellite reception iffy at best, but reasonable cable TV at the sites I saw. Very good paved interior roads and all sites are graveled. The park is very well maintained and sites are mostly roomy. Problem? Yes: the management. They ARE NOT customer service oriented. Tried to reserve to sites a month in advance so our two rigs could be sided by side. Willing to pay cash in advance but was told, “The computer will not allow them to do that.” Plus can’t rent two sites unless you provide all the registration info for both parties. Office staff more interested in doing as little as possible vs serving the customer’s needs.
