The campground is close to area attractions such as arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It is also close to town. Our site had a small patch of grass which was nice at night, especially for our dog since the temperatures were in the 90's to 100's during the day (July is beastly!) the pool and hot tub were nice to use. There is a gated entrance.
We stayed here for 4 nights and liked the closeness to area attractions such as the Petrified National Park, Meteor Crater and Highway 66 sites. It's an open campsite with a few trees here and there and close to the highway, but you don't really hear it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The park is within walking distance to town and close to 4 wheeling trails which was nice and the river walk which we did nightly with our dog. However, it is basically a big gravel parking lot with no privacy whatsoever. The Wi-Fi was pretty bad unless you were close to the office. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked about local trails to do with our jeep.
