This KOA is one of the nicer ones we have been at. All their facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly. We were located next to the main road and the office, no road noise to speak of as traffic is light. I gave it a nine as our site was not one of the more level sites in the campground. We would camp here again.
This is the 3rd time we have camped here in the past year. The site we were on was a pull-through and very level. We camped here over the 4th of July weekend and it was busy, but the restrooms and showers were clean. They had activities for all ages and there is plenty to do in the area.
This KOA had been open a month when we stayed there. It has the potential to be a great campground as the staff is eager to please and very friendly. The pool wasn't finished when were there, but it was OK as the weather was cool anyways. Bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. I gave it a 9 as the owners are very particular about traffic flow in the campground. The route they want you to take is not marked well and my visitors were given a talking too as they cut through the campground (they stayed on the gravel roads). I would stay here again and hope to when I am in the central WI area.
The campground is in the heart of Amish country. However, was charged $4 extra per day to run my AC. For what you get, the base price of $44 seems a little high as there are no campfires permitted and are really no frills. Sites are tight. If I put my awning out, I would have hit the next rig. There are no pull thru sites. All sites are back in. This is our 3rd time camping in Amish country and we will probably look elsewhere next time. Bathrooms are clean, however.
This park is new and very convenient to I-81. We had a back in site which was not level, we could have moved as it was not busy, but is was fine for us. There is quite a bit of Interstate noise, however, we couldn't hear it inside the coach. To see the local sights this campground is perfect, the sites are large. Bathrooms were immaculate, customer service was outstanding. I would have given them a 10/10 but the Internet was not good. Second night we were there it went out for the night about 7. We would camp here again.
This park is a small quaint campground. Didn't see the owner one time, but the manager of the place was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. The weekend we went it rained all weekend, so the area was a bit muddy, but considering the bathrooms were very clean. Do not follow your GPS if coming here follow the signs. Our MH is 33ft and we were towing a car. The GPS route may have damaged both our MH and car as the grade is very steep and the bridge is only rated at 10 tons. This campground is nice if you don't have any children as there is not much to do here if the kids are along-maybe swimming in the river-in the summer.
This was our second stay here and it was outstanding. Campground is very clean, they have a dog park. Bathrooms are very clean. Managers are very friendly. Its easy on/off 95. We stayed here in September 2013.
We stayed here in September 2013 and our experience was outstanding. I had read other reviews on here and found them not to be true during our visit. The staff was very friendly, they provided excellent customer service. The site was very rustic as far as living amongst the trees and the fire pit was rimmed with boulders, very unique. I would return to this campground.
