Staff is friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here before with previous managers. These managers have made a wonderful improvement in the park. The price is high because of the Bakken workers and construction workers, but this is the only RV park in the area that you would want to stay in. There are a lot of contractors and construction workers in the park, but the park is kept clean and pretty neat. Our spot was level and enough space for our 5th wheel and pickup. In spite of the permanent residents there was room for the ones that pulled in for a night or two, etc. Our Internet was good. No cable, but we received the main TV channels fine. The laundry is clean. There is a charge of .25 a minute to use the showers, which we didn't use. The restrooms and showers are clean. The new managers are continually working to improve the park. A few years ago it was flooded and a great improvement has been made, especially by the current managers. I would definitely stay here again. We stayed for one week this time.
We have stayed here several times and are totally happy with everything. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They go all out to keep this place neat, clean and top-notch condition. The restrooms make you feel like you are in a guest's restroom. Clean, neat, and nice looking. There are a lot of oil workers living there. Their places remain neat, too. We met several of them and they are friendly and take pride in the park also. I recommend this place highly. There was no cable in the spot we had, but the TV channels come in good. There is cable in most areas of the park. The Wi-Fi was strong and easy to connect.
The park is under major construction. The restrooms and showers were clean but there was no hot water in the shower early in the morning when I went to shower. The Internet was poor and the cable kept cutting in and out. Way overpriced for what we got under the circumstances, with the mess of the construction and things not working well.
Top of the line RV park. Clean, neat, friendly, spacious RV spots, etc. We have stayed here many times and will again when in the area. Lots of TV channels, WI FI but it took an extender to receive it when we were 4 sites from the office. This has been the best KOA throughout Montana. A little high priced, but all KOA's are high priced.
The park is being renovated and apparently has for a year or more and far from being done. The price is terribly high for such a mess. The staff is friendly. The TV is very snowy on all channels with cable, almost impossible to see the picture. The grounds are torn up for renovation. It was said this place was sold to the folks that own the fitness center and mineral pools right outside the park. I would suggest you wait a year or two until things are done and improved before you stay here, but I bet it will cost lots more then. It is SO overpriced for the condition it is in at the present time. They would do much better if they offered a "construction rate" while this is going on. The restrooms are clean, but there are no seat covers in the ladies restroom.
The managers are very friendly and treat you as a valued guest. We have stayed here many times and is one of the nicer places in the area. The restrooms are clean but need updating. There is a clam cleaning area, which is outdated, but in the process of being worked on. The spaces are roomy with grass . Internet is Tengo and fairly good. Cable worked good. We will definitely stay here again. You can walk to the beach from the park.
Very friendly owners. Clean and neat park. Clean showers and restrooms. Lots of full time workers, but doesn't look like it as the owners have strict rules and are well liked and great managers. There are RV spaces and homes for rent all in the same park. Greatly expanded in the past few years. We would definitely stay here again. We have stayed here before these owners took over and it was good, but is excellent with these owners.
Friendly, clean and has spacious sites with patio, table, umbrella, etc. Clean restrooms. Very awkward and small showers, but clean. We stayed here twice in October. The second time the rate was $37.56 because of winter rates. The water was shut off for the winter on our second stop, but we were informed of this right away and if we had needed water there was an area to put some on. We have stayed here many times previously.
We stayed for two nights. Friendly staff, clean park, spacious sites, clean restrooms. We have stayed here many times and it is always very nice. It is a little high price, but is a convenient location to shopping, food, etc. and worth it. We stayed on our return on 10/15 also. The rate that night was $22 because of winter rates and internet special of $8.00 off for Washington residents.
We checked in for a week. The web site said the weekly rate was $210. When I checked in I was told it was $280. I questioned it because of the web site and showed them the web site. There was a problem with a previous web site not being connected to the current one since when these managers took over and raised the price. It took about 1/2 hr. to get my $70. refund. We were given a site, but it was occupied. We called the office and said it was occupied. We were told, "It shouldn't be". Then they came to the site to take us to another site. We started setting up at the second site and were told, "Whoops, you have to move. We are saving that one for long term occupants." We disconnected, and were moved to another site where they told us to "pull in here". We pulled in and the connections were on the opposite site . They then told us to move again. Four moves before they gave us a site that worked. The staff was friendly when we checked in until we got our refund of $70. Then they had nothing to say and we didn't see them again. They have been managers or owners for about 10 months, so should have been more efficient than they were. The laundry is clean but a bit higher than other parks we have been to. They charge 25 cents a minute for a shower. The park is messy. Our site had a broken pen, broken sun glasses, and lots of cigarette butts, so apparently wasn't cleaned up after previous tenants. Most of the sites are occupied by oil workers. Some are junky, but most don't have much stuff sitting around. Most vehicles don't follow the speed limit in the park.
We stayed here with Passport America rates. There is NO cable for RV'ers unless you are going to be here for a longer time than a week or two, then you have to contact the cable company to connect it. They advertise WI-FI, BUT, it is lousy. You can get it in the computer room near the office but that is intermittent also. There are several towers throughout the park, but none strong enough to give you internet more than a few minutes, and it disconnects. There are many activities, a great pool and jacuzzi area, and the showers and restrooms have just been redone and are beautiful, BUT design is very poor. The water from all the showers just runs out over the floor between showers and toilets. The showers have light water pressure. They were done about a week before we came and some of the vinyl paper is already pulling off the wall in the shower areas, curtain rods in the showers are falling down, etc. The floors are slippery in the shower area so you need rubber sandals, etc. The staff is friendly. There are several comfortable seating areas out around the courtyard and is quite an attractive place. We would come here again.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. The restrooms and showers are extremely clean plus everything working in them. Our spot was level. The laundry was clean and fair prices. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
We stayed here for two nights. We got the Good Sam rate. Staff is friendly. RV spots are fairly spacious. Showers and restrooms are clean. It took a long time to get hot water, but we were probably the first to use them. We would stay here again.
Clean showers and restrooms. First day we didn't have water in the showers by the west pool area. Pools were great with mineral fed water. Staff very friendly. Couldn't have been any better. Large RV spot. Treated like a valued customer. We got our site 1/2 price for checking out the park models.
Showers and Restrooms VERY clean. Staff friendly. Parks needs more lighting around restroom/shower facilities outside. I ran into a water hose bib area on the wall of the rest room facility. We couldn't see where the sidewalk was on the way to the restrooms. Showers in both men and womens rooms gave us lukewarm water after about 5 minutes at 4:30 in the morning so we couldn't have drained it at that time. Oranges were at the end of the picking but we got enough for delicious fresh squeezed juice. Sites were level. Great cable and Wi-Fi.
Dusty, dirt roads throughout park. Cement pads at sites, but at the far front of the parking area. Sites are very narrow and short. Staff is friendly. There is highway and train noise, but tolerable. Jacuzzi not working. WI-FI is with Tengonet so you might as well forget it - terrible service.
When we checked in here for four nights the office staff was friendly but complained about the person that was supposed to show us to our spot. There was free Wi-Fi with Tengonet, but we only got it one day so far. We have 3 more days left that we had to pay for in advance. Tengonet isn't dependable at all. There is cable, and in two days was only out a few minutes so far. If we don't get internet in one more day we leave. there are a lot of full timers here. The showers have one toilet and one shower unless you go to the laundry area and then there are two showers. If you are in the ladies shower, don't say anything you don't want anyone in the men to hear because there are no ceilings and you can hear anything in the adjoining showers. We will NOT stay here again.
We stayed here for 2 weeks with Sunrise Membership. The cable went out every night for two weeks about 10:30 PM and came back on whenever it started to warm up outside. The staff says it happens all the time and they don't know why. The restrooms and laundry are clean. Nice clubhouse with new cooks, and several activities. The showers in the clubhouse give no privacy from others in the room. You have a curtain while you are in the shower, but to get dressed there is no privacy curtains. The seat cover on the stool in the handicapped shower in the ladies shower area is cracked, dirty, moldy and has been that way for the last 4 years. The restrooms and showers by the pool at the clubhouse don't open until 7 AM or sometimes after. The only other restrooms are quite a distance from that area, but are not locked. This is quite inconvenient. The staff is friendly and the grounds are clean and well maintained. The laundry has several washers and dryers. Some of the dryers do not completely dry a load in the 45 minutes they run. The RV spots have cement patios and are quite wide. The connections are at the very back of the parking area so you need extra long cables and cords.
The park is clean and neat. The restrooms clean. The laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers and is clean. Friendly personnel. While we were here for 4 nights, there were only about 3 other people that checked in. The rest, about 4 permanents, were quiet except for a Whale Watcher tour company behind us that played loud music, and another trailer near us with a barking bassett hound. When we checked in we were told they had cookies every day. They only had them twice. Close to Monterey and a quiet area. Excellent restaurants nearby and an excellent veg and fruit market with unbelievable reasonable prices, and a wide variety of items about 2 blocks away. We would stay here again.
We stayed here two nights. First night with Passport for $14. Second night for $28. Excellent park. Friendly staff, The very cleanest and modern showers and restrooms. Easy access. Close to fuel, grocery, casino, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Previously, we stayed at the casino RV park and it is terrible and more expensive than this one. We enjoyed our stay so much the first night we added the second night. Some longer term tenants - all very nice. Quiet area.
A very nice park, but could be great if a little maintenance would be done periodically. The mineral springs pools are great. The shower areas could use a better cleaning. The people are friendly. The internet is terrible. It is off and on. The park should check into a service that provides it so it would stay on. I get kicked off every few minutes and I have an extender and we are parked right at the antenna. We had several power interruptions due to some wind damage. We stayed here with RPI.
The price is extremely high for this old park. Lots were dirt and turned to all mud when it rained. Water was leaking in the roof in the ladies restroom. Good place for a one night stop, but I wouldn't stay here more at the high cost. The staff was very friendly.
This is a self check in park, where you put your credit card or cash into a machine and you get a receipt which is to be on the post at our site. It is handy for a one night stay. No cable TV or rest rooms or showers, but you can get some stations with antenna.
I think we paid about $29.00. EXCELLENT park. Friendly staff, clean park, level cement pads, grounds well maintained. We have stayed here before and it is just as nice as it was when it was new. Friendly shuttle drivers to take you to and from the casino.
We spent 5 nights here. The staff was friendly, check in was quick and the sites are fairly level. There are individual shower/sink/toilet rooms and they were spotless. The laundry was clean and machines are new and worked great. The grounds were neat and clean. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We used Good Sam discount and I believe paid about $23. or $24. a night and stayed for 3 nights. Our site was fairly level and the restrooms and showers were clean. The management was friendly. There are quite a few full timers, but all were quiet and the park was fairly neat and clean. It was quiet with very little traffic. The spots were plenty big. We didn't see any kids around and didn't have to contend with what previous people had said on their reviews. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here with RPI which was $10 a night and additional charge for utilities of $2 and $2.50 for cable TV which didn't work. There is Wireless internet 1/2 mile away from the campgrounds at the clubhouse. The lots are not level. The staff was not friendly. When we checked in, we requested one night and would let them know in the morning if we wanted the second. We were charged for both nights. I went in the second day to say I wasn't staying and asked for the second day refund. I also asked for a refund on the cable TV. She said it was the cable company's fault that it didn't work, not hers and didn't refund the cable cost for either night. There are several places in the park that appear to be for full timers. The showers cost you twenty five cents for minimum time. I used $1.00. The water pressure in the shower was not much more than a drizzle. I won't stay here again.
We stayed here with an internet special coupon. This park is immaculate. Each restroom and shower combination is private and exceptionally clean. The staff is friendly and the check in process is fast. We have stayed here before and always find it nice. The pads are large. The entire park is modern. There is free wireless internet and cable. There is a free shuttle to take you to the casino and this service is quick and friendly also.
Excellent park. The restrooms/showers are modern and immaculate. All facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. Coffee and donut type treats are served every morning. You are invited to pick oranges that you will use. I recommend this park and will definitely stay here again. Level lot. Museum type atmosphere with farming equipment all around the park. They provide poles to reach oranges for picking. A wonderful place!
We stayed here with RPI. Wireless Internet is with Tengo and very slow. It is $1.00 and gives you 60 mbs. then kicks you off. Cable is $1.00. This is a Western Horizon and if you aren't a member your site is assigned before you arrive. We tried to pull into the assigned site and it was too small to put our slide out so had to go back to the office to get a different site. That was small too and we had to park half of our rig on the cement patio. The pool area is clean and nice and there are several activities. The bathroom and shower area by the pool is clean. The ladies bathroom area at the back end of the park is run down and two showers and only one was working. The wall was torn apart on the second for repairs. The laundry was clean and the washers and dryers only cost $1.00 and were in good condition. If you want to walk in the desert you have to go out the front gate. There are no other exits or entrances.
A very nice park. We stayed here three nights. We paid for one night and had two complimentary nights for going to a presentation on buying a site. There was no high pressure and a very friendly staff. The lots are large. The grounds are well taken care of and the pool is relatively new and very clean. The pool area has several modern tables and two nice barbeques. There is a library with a wide variety of books. The laundry is clean with newer machines. The showers and restrooms are very clean.
We stayed here with RPI and because we stayed in the upper camp ground we were charged $7.00 extra. The restrooms and showers were clean but could have used some repair. One of the showers in the ladies room was without a knob so couldn't be used for the entire two weeks. The pools are great, fed with mineral springs and water changes often and are clean. The hot tub in the upper area had some problems and some days was warm and other days hot. The parking areas are sand and gravel and we had no patio. There are some in some areas of the park. They allow us to choose our own spot from those that are vacant. The staff is friendly. We were right across from the wireless internet but without a booster kept getting thrown off. One day the internet was out entirely. There are several activities. The park recycles glass, plastic and cans, and cardboard and have several recycling containers throughout the park. We have stayed here before and will stay again.
A DUSTY and NOISY park. There is a freeway and railroad tracks. There were several trains all night long. We stayed here with Resort Parks International. The staff is friendly and there are activities in the clubhouse. The pool and jacuzzi are clean. The pads are dirt and very narrow. There are cement patios. The roads are not paved. It is close to Algodones and Casino.
We stayed 1 week with RPI rate. The roads and pads are gravel and sand and dusty. There was a sewer smell in the park in various areas almost every day, including inside the clubhouse one evening. There is a small store with necessities, but all are over priced. The employees are friendly. Our spot was plenty wide with a picnic table that was in bad shape. The trailer next to us was a run down mess, which looked like it had been here for a few years. The one laundry was large and clean. The other had 4 washers and 4 dryers outdoors. There were lots of activities. On weekends there was karoke at the pool area. Our trailer was about 6 away from the pool and we could hear the loud music with everything closed. The two pools are nice and clean, but we could never get the shower at the pools to put out anything but cold water. There is cable and internet at an additional charge. There is wireless internet in the club house and from some sites close to the pool and store area. We were able to get wireless from our site which was about 6 trailers away from the pool.
We stayed here a week. The shower I used each day was never cleaned. There was the same large gob of hair in it every day. The staff was friendly. When it isn't real busy they don't put anyone in the spot next to you, so there was plenty of room. The laundry was clean. There are restrooms and laundry's throughout the park so they aren't too busy. We used points from the casino to stay here so don't know what the price is.
We have a Sunrise membership for this park. The sites are sand and large with a cement patio. There is cable but every time we have stayed here there is very poor cable service. It has improved somewhat in the past 3 years, but still not good. Wireless internet is offered through Nomad at an additional cost. The staff is friendly, but you rarely see any of them. The showers and restrooms are outdated. The ladies room had two toilets and one of them gave no privacy as the closure for the door was too wide for the door and wouldn't lock, and gave viewing space if you tried holding the door. There are 3 showers in the ladies room at the clubhouse and only one is "private", as whomever uses the last one has to walk through the dressing area of the first two to get in or out. They are clean. The showers and restrooms below the clubhouse by the pool are locked at night and are supposed to open at 6 AM but sometimes it is as late as 7 AM or so before anyone opens the gate. The swim pool has been closed every year when we arrive in November. There are paved streets and plenty of outdoor lighting. There is a flag flying by the clubhouse but it is shredded into three pieces and needs to be replaced. The park has improved much in the past 3 years, but needs additional improvement. There is a 10 mph speed limit, but not many adhere to it. The laundry is clean.
The sites are wide and long and have a patio with wrought iron table and chairs. The restrooms and showers are clean, but some of the showers were missing curtains and some of the soap dispensers were empty. There was no Thanksgiving meal like several parks provide. There is an on site restaurant but it closed for the Thanksgiving weekend. The sewers are at the far end of the parking area so you need a long sewer hose unless you park far to the back of the lot and away from the patio. There is wireless internet for $15. a week, but it worked sporadically and we were told our spot would have excellent reception. The staff was friendly. We weren't told there was a breakfast like some of the reviews indicated. There are orange, grapefruit, lime and lemon trees throughout the park.
Very nice park. Laundry is spotless. Private Shower/restroom areas and spotless. Professionally run park. Cleanest and neatest park we have stayed at. Employees are friendly. Sites are quite private with shrubs/trees in between. Gravel on cement sites, level. This is the second time we have stayed here but the price has risen quite a bit in two years.
Best Park in Fort Stockton. Clean restrooms and showers with a tub in private rooms. Old but kept up well and neat. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant on site with good menu for dinner and breakfast. Free wireless internet. Gravel sites and level. I would definitely stay here again. I have checked out other parks in Fort Stockton and they don't even begin to compare with this one.
Showers with restrooms are private. They are extremely clean. Relatively quiet park. Very friendly employees. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We only spent one one and used Passport for $17.50.
Excellent park. Clean and private restrooms and showers. Owners helpful about area if you need information. Owners are the friendliest I have found in all of our travels. Level sites and easy access. Beach across the street. Casino shuttle. I highly recommend this park.
We stayed here with Passport America. The showers and restroom were clean but could have used some updating. The staff was friendly. The ladies restroom is locked all the time and no key was offered at check in, but when I went to the office I was given one. The office has an area with a desk to sit and use wireless internet which is comfortable. You cannot get it from the sites. There are several permanent residents in the park with very old and run down trailers, but there are several spaces left for drop in ones too. The train goes through twice a night and is very loud. There are chickens running around and rooster waking you in the morning. Dogs are running without leashes.
We checked into this park for a week. The manager is very accommodating. The showers and restrooms are private rooms and very clean. We have stayed here before. The internet wireless internet can be reached all over the park. The laundry room has new machines and is very clean. The sites are spacious. I would recommend this highly to everyone.
We found this campsite using the internet. It apparently used to be called Bellaire Woods because that is the web site we found it on. The restroom/shower combination were clean but the showers are outdated. You have to keep pushing the button every few seconds to keep the water coming and the water never did get hot. The laundry is outdated but the machines work. The staff was friendly. There is a convenience store and service station that carries diesel at the park.
We spent 4 nights at this park. The showers and restrooms are clean. The laundry is clean and has lots of machines that work well. There are two large pools that look clean and inviting another time of the year. The RV parking allows plenty of room on both sides, and is on gravel with some grass around. The grounds could use a bit more cleaning up after people leave. We had a pile of cigarette butts and burned trash remains in the grass where we were parked.
The managers were friendly, the showers and restrooms were clean. The store was well stocked with supplies. There were activities for kids. The sites were roomy but were not level. It was a quiet area.
There are no restrooms or showers. This park is located behind a small store called Sam's. There is nothing there except approximately 7 spaces to park and connect to water, electric and sewer. This is a very noisy park as it is right on a busy road and trains went through the area. I would consider this park just a step up from dry camping.
The restrooms were clean but there were no towels or air dryer. The shower had the same black hair in it every day I used it, so apparently it had been overlooked during cleaning. Most of the sites are filled with "permanent" residents, and many are cluttered and not well kept, some with very old run down trailers. The person who checked us in was friendly. The park is located at a farm where riding lessons and events are held and could be great entertainment for kids.
The showers and restroom were clean. The hookups were terrible. Our first two assigned spots had broken handles on the water. The sewer was at the far back end of the sites. The water ended up under the trailer so we had to hook up before we backed all the way in. The power was also at the far back on the opposite side of most hookups.
We found this park in our Passport America book. We requested a site near the showers and restrooms. It turned out the closest shower and restroom was across a well traveled road from the park. There was one restroom for women and one for men. They were both in terrible condition and there was no heat in either. There were some additional facilities by the office, but they were locked for the season. We were able to receive analog television and the wireless internet was good.
We found this site in our Passport America book. The manager was friendly. The shower and restroom had no heat. They were clean but primitive. The map on the Internet is misleading. Where it says to turn at "M" street it means Chicago Street.
We chose this park because the website advertised free cable TV. The website also indicated this park had high Good Sam ratings, so we assumed we would get the Good Sam discount. When we checked-in we were told there would be a $3.00 charge for cable TV and that they did not give the Good Sam discount because they were not members. When I questioned the manager about the information for free cable TV and the information about Good Sam that was on the web site: she became argumentive. This park is located between railroad tracks and a highway and is very noisy. The restrooms and showers were clean but in run-down condition.
WOW! These are the best RV park managers we have met in years of travel. The park is small and friendly. The restrooms and showers and grounds are CLEAN! We have traveled around the US and this is one of the best places we have ever found. First of all, The owners really care about their tenants. They were so accommodating when we pulled in. They showed us around the park, and showed us the laundry and shower/bathroom areas. All are immaculate! They treat their guests wonderful. The entire place is clean and well kept. I haven't seen the motel rooms, but have heard they are clean and immaculate. When I entered the park, the owner was there to greet us. We checked in and the check in area is similar to a 5 star motel. There is a great gift shop with hand made gifts as well as other gifts.. I just can't say enough good things about this place. No matter how I travel to this area again - RV or driving I will definitely try to get a place here in the RV park or the motel. The RV park is small and has 14 spots. I highly recommend this place.
