This is a very nice park. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stop overnight along I-75, or a good place to stay several days while visiting the area. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.
This is an excellent RV park, right on the water. Our only reason for a 9 and not a 10 is that the sites are close together. But, other than that, this is a great place. All sites are paved, everything is clean, and the staff is great. As this is written we are staying in site 71, probably the best one in the place. We will definitely be back when we are in this part of the country.
This is a beautiful campground with large, well-spaced sites. The sites are gravel and mostly level. While they don't have full sewer hookups, they do have grey water disposal through connections designed to accept a standard garden hose. We rated it a 9 because of the lack of full sewer hookups. We will definitely go back.
We stayed here overnight while traveling for the Christmas holidays. The sites are large and mostly level, but only a few are shaded. This didn't matter much since the weather was cold, but it could be hot in the summer. The restrooms were clean and nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We needed LP gas, and it is available on site at a reasonable cost. We would definitely stay here again when passing through their area.
This is a great park for a stopover when traveling on I-95. The sites are large pull throughs. The cable TV offered a good number of channels. The staff was friendly and helpful. While the park is close to the interstate we did not find noise to be a problem. We might have given them a "10" except the bathrooms and showers are old. They were clean, but they could certainly use an update. We would definitely stay here again.
This was our first visit to this campground, but it won't be our last. It's designed for people who have dogs and who like dogs. For that it's really great. For kids this wouldn't be such a great place because there is little for them to do, unless they are also really into dogs. The campground itself is very nice with level gravel sites and roads. Some of the sites are really big. None of them seem to be too close together. The owners, who live on site, are very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and nice. We definitely plan to go back and take our two Dachshunds again. Highly recommended for dog owners.
We went here for a quiet weekend of rest and relaxation. This campground is perfect for that. It's well run, nicely landscaped, very well maintained, and the staff was great. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. This is a great place for adults, but there's not much for kids to do on site. It is, however, very well located as a base while seeing all the sites around Asheville. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a well run campground with good facilities for adults. There isn't much to do for children. The CG was full when we were there, and some of the sites were close together, but not too bad. We had a creekside site that was very nice. Grounds were clean, restrooms were excellent, rules were enforced, but in a friendly way. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will stop there again.
We picked this park for our first weekend out in our new motorhome that we just purchased from Tom Johnson's Camping in Marion, NC (Excellent dealer!). It was a great place to start out. Everything was neat and clean. The sites were level gravel. The roads were gravel. Even though it rained heavily the first night there were no problems with drainage. There was a potluck dinner in their pavilion Saturday night followed by very enjoyable live entertainment. The owners are great people who went out of their way to make "first timers" feel welcome. This is a great park for adults, but there were some kids there too. We enjoyed the "Mountain Stream Church" service held Sunday morning. We already have reservation to return and highly recommend this park.
