The rate listed was using a monthly rate. This is the second year we stayed in this park. It is an older park that is well kept. It has a limited number of sites for large RVs. We had no problems the first year, but the management has changed its billing policies. We came in in the middle of the month and had intended to leave in the middle of the month three months later. We expected to pay a monthly rate for three months. But the park insisted that it had to charge us the weekly rate ($270 a week)for the last two weeks of our stay or we could pay the monthly rate instead which would be less than the $540 for two weeks). In any case, the result was that we would be overcharged around $270.00. We had a hard time actually getting someone to sit down and talk to us, but when we did, we received no satisfaction. We left shy of a two months stay and will not return. The management company apparently doesn't care much for the park's welfare, and the owners, whoever they are, ought to look into this. When we first arrived, our neighbors were very unhappy about their billing as well, and left earlier than intended. At that time we did not understand, really, what they were talking about. Now we do.

We would definitely stay here again. Long pull- through sites, quite level so we didn't have to unhitch; $18 for water and electricity, $23 for full hookups; nice swimming pool; friendly and helpful fellow at the desk; a lot of travel literature available; free cable and Internet; low water pressure so we just used our water pump. nice grassy areas with picnic tables with shade trees available for use by us campers or for tents. If using Garmin, call for directions as it does not have the exact location. The campground is just off Interstate, the first Miles City exit at the bottom of the hill on the left.

Park has long, large pull throughs. A few spots need boards to level from side to side but a number are perfectly level. There is a lovely view but sometimes windy as it's on the hill. Within walking distance of Hilltop Cafe and Sabirs fine dining restaurant. Within walking distance of Medicine Wheel Park, worth seeing. Has a continental breakfast in the motel and 3 washers and dryers. We stay here every year for at least 1 month at $350 for the month. Since the pipeline crews left the area, there are no full time residents in the park and reservations are not needed. No showers available. Wi-Fi in the motel area but not strong enough for the park. Friendly and helpful motel staff.

We paid $350 for the month. All of the sites are pull-through and have picnic tables. Only a few of the sites are level but not difficult to level side-to-side using boards. We stay here every year for a month or two in the summer. This summer there are only a few others here for the season. Most people stop here for a night or two or three on their way through the state. The park is within walking distance of the Medicine Wheel, a site worth seeing. Hilltop Cafe is just a couple of blocks away, located in the Tesoro gas station. Valley City is a pretty town, and does have a number of antique stores.

The rate is reflective of the four month rate plus electricity and a $200 off coupon for first time visitors. The staff and occupants are very friendly and helpful. The activities and gatherings at the park are numerous. The next time we winter in the area we will definitely stay here.

This is a beautiful park on the Arkansas River. The road was paved and the sites were on concrete pads bordered by a large area for the picnic table. The sites were large and well spaced with lush green grass around them. Our satellite is fixed to the roof and we had no trouble finding a signal. The rate was the 1/2 price rate for Golden Age Passport holders.

This is a beautiful park with most sites on the water. The sites are separated nicely from each other. There is a swimming beach in the camping area and a resort area with restaurant and boat and pontoon rentals "next door". Our $9.00 rate reflects the 1/2 price rate for golden age passport holders and is for the water and electric sites. For just electric the fee is less. There are no laundry facilities but two shower houses.

This is a Passport America Park that accepts the PA rate all of the time. We stayed 4 nights at the PA rate. I expect the regular rate was about $30. The park was clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful in assuring that we had a site that would give us satellite access.

We camped in the old park. The newer section rates ranged from $28 to $40. There was a dry camping section also available to $17. Good Sam was accepted only in the newer section. The park is within walking distance of the aquarium, which is a must see in Newport. A free shuttle that takes you into Newport stops here and runs throughout the day.
