What a great park! Big wide sites, full hookups, great WiFi, and cable. The onsite restaurant is great and will deliver meals to your rig. The pool was unheated, but still pretty warm. Paved interior roads, level sites. Right down the street from Camping World. Immaculate landscaping. After two months in the desert, we needed something nice and this was just perfect. Will definitely stay here again.
Well, Boron CA is not a destination point! However, it is a nice stop over between Bakersfield and Palm Springs or the Colorado River. We saw the signs for the park and just pulled in. The manager was very nice. Got our pull through site and he gave us the password for the WiFi. The park is what you would expect for a dot on the road, but the hookups all worked and were well placed. Cement patio. In the middle of nowhere, but we will stay here again. Funny little town. And how many people can say they stayed in Boron?
RPI rate. 8 miles to Yuma and any kind of a store. Lots of pull through spaces that are pretty close together. Gravel interior roads and level spaces with a concrete pad. Everything worked well. Friendly staff, some activities. The pool looked clean and well kept, but we didn't use it. Many people use this as a destination spot and stay all winter. Park is closed in summer. Would stay again.
Mostly pull through sites. Bring your earplugs; this is right on the I-10 and is very noisy. Nice park, great clubhouse, bathrooms, laundry/pool. Nicest staff we've ever met. Breakfast or lunch every day. Happy place. Rate reflects RPI membership.
The only reason this is rated at a 6 is because its outrageously expensive for a park that sits right on the freeway with all night traffic. If you are deaf, it's fine. The sites are wonderful cement level pads with a side pad for the truck. Easy hookup to w/e/s and cable TV. WIFI is fast. This is NOT in Santa Barbara or any city for that matter. A good 1/2 hour from SB.
