An excellent facility, but the new management still needs a little work. All sites had full hookups, and all sites were shaded. Clubhouse and pool were nice. Owner seems a little inexperienced and overwhelmed, but they are fixing up the campground nicely.
The facilities were very good and have great potential. The manager was incredibly rude, apparently used to dealing with a rough clientelle. I felt like I was in a scene out of "Deliverance". Would never stop again.
A good facility with a lot of shaded sites. I would have rated it higher if it weren't for the outrageously high price. They wanted to charge me another $2 for air conditioning. The pig was a little scary. Apparently it roams the park as a campground pet. Wasn't too keen about meeting it face to face and nose to nose unexpectedly while hooking up the sewer hose.
A nice shaded, wooded campground. Facilities very well maintained. Quiet. Reach was a little long to the electric and water, but I had extensions up to 50'. Would definitely stay again.
A very nice quiet shaded park. The reach was a little long to the power and water but I had extensions. Wooded, very well maintained bath houses and facilities.
A nice park, there are 2 campgrounds, Whittleton being the oldest in nicest. Whittleton has a creek through is. Well maintained, quiet. If you like hiking and rock formations, this is the place. Red River Gorge is a must nearby for driving and hiking.
This is hard to rate park for an rv. It is very nice for what it is- a well landscaped campground in a national park with few ammenities. No power, electric, not even a bath house. If you're comfortable with that, it is a very nice park, nice campsites.
