Stayed for three nights. This is a very old dirt/gravel park. We wanted to be on the North side of Tucson upon continuing our journey. Some road noise. Manager was nice. Good stop over out of Tucson traffic but, close enough to shopping. Park cost $30, but it's only worth $18. Long term people here are nice and friendly. Not a destination spot.
Sites are close together 2 ft between slide outs. Sites not level, front wheels off ground to level. Concrete pads. Quite park but I did notice a few dogs running loose in the park. The manager was nice. I never could get the WiFi to work. They had a tech working on it a couple of times, no go. Close to freeway but we were towards the middle and did not hear it inside. I would stay here again.
Nice park for traveling through, although the freeway is right out the front door. If the stay did not cost so much I would have rated it higher. I have stayed in way nicer places, including KOAs, for a lot less. Check other campgrounds in the area before booking here to save money. All dirt pads, with a few shade trees. The pool was not maintained--very dirty.
Stayed here in 2013 Pricey for dirt sites. A little noisy from freeway. Nice to see live animals and they are a sanctuary for hurt and abandoned animals. They have a lot Buffalo but tours are very expensive. The staff is very nice.
