A very nice resort. Nice open view of the mountains, which were getting close to peak foliage. Easy access in and out. Nice long area to unhook and hook up your toad. Pet friendly; there are open fields to walk dog(s) which will eventually become RV sites. Plenty of room between sites and friendly people, even though we sort of got off to a bad start with the manager who said we couldn't use the gazebo on the site then said we could. Good 50A service. Good satellite reception. No shaded sites. We stayed three nights and hope to come back.
We were in site 114 and, although it was tight maneuvering a 40' RV into it, it was great. Unhook area is level as was our site. Trees and shrubs give privacy at many sites. Good 50A service and water pressure. Nice laundry area and only $1.50 per load to wash and $1.50 to dry. Recycle bins for aluminum, plastic, paper, and glass. Hiking, biking, dog walking paths all over the park. Dog waste bag stations in many places along paths. Campers get free admission to facilities. Dog park is surrounded by water with swimming area for dogs. Small dogs have a separate area. We hope to come back and stay longer. Very nice campground with friendly staff and campers.
This is a cash only campground with limited overnight spots due to the "permanents". Don't let the website fool you. That was probably when it was new. Dog next door barked for hours until owner came back. Sand everywhere which comes in on feet both human and animal if you have pets. Big bump getting into and out of campground. I felt a bit creepy when we even just walked dogs. Just barely OK for overnight, but not much going for it otherwise. Sites were tight/narrow.
Nice park not far from interstate. Easy in and out with a tow behind us. We just stayed for an overnight and it was perfect for that. Quiet. Level grass site with paved & gravel roads.
The other reviews are right on; a unique campground area and concept with limited number of sites making it feel very exclusive and private. The first/only RV&B we have seen. Easily accommodates large motorhomes with tows if you have one. Very nice and clean laundry facility. Kitchen privileges if desired. Nice dog walking areas. Gazebo with swing and table located overlooking the mountains where you can relax with a drink, book, or bring up a meal. The rate reflects choosing to not have breakfast.
We love this campground. This is our second time there and we stayed for two weeks - thus the discounted rate. 50 amp power, water, sewer, beautiful views and quiet. Enjoyed hiking, shopping, restaurants, and parks right in the area. Very hospitable owners with a wealth of knowledge of the area. We will be back again soon.
We were down in the back area which was very quiet with only a few campers. Some late arrivals came in but not noisy. Grass site. Level. Good place for an overnight & close to I-75. A bit pricey for a Good Sam park, since we weren't using a cable site. We would camp here again.
OK for an overnight. The water was discolored & smelled of Sulphur. Might be because we took what seemed to be the last site available & may not have been used frequently. Very quiet and pleasant otherwise. We have stayed before and probably will again on the way through. Pleasant manager. Cash or check only.
Good place for an overnight or longer if you play golf. Good Sam discount. New Owners who plan to clean it up and install concrete pads. Grass/gravel now. Easy in and out. Quiet and peaceful. We would stay again.
We found this piece of paradise totally by chance and fell in love with it. If you love peace, quiet, nature, and dynamite views, this is the place for you. You stay in your motor-coach but breakfast is available if you wish - organic, wholesome, fresh and delicious. Unique concept, unique campground, unique and gracious owners/host/hostess. Not for families with kids who need playgrounds, swimming pools and scheduled activities. This is for relaxing, unwinding, and communing with nature at its best. Hiking, tubing, white-water rafting, arts & craft shopping, or just reading a book in their gazebo-its all in the area. We will be coming back often.
