50/30/20 amp. Sewer good. Water 40@ psi, no Wi-Fi, no cable, Cell phone service is good, Air Card is good, Sites are very good. Pull-throughs along side the interior road. Lots of room between sites and lots of grass. Watering of grass every night. I parked to close to the edge of the grass and the sprinklers were hitting the trailer with water. Quite noisy at night. Interior roads are asphalt. Didn't use the restrooms or showers. Easy access for satellite. Golden Age discount of 50%. Payment by credit card is accepted. Outstanding park. Would stay here when in the area.
Shore Services 50/30/20amp, Sewer good, Water 40@ psi, Didn't use WiFi, AT&T Cell Phone good, Verizon Air Card good, Cable is good, Sites are acceptable. Some are long for big rigs, some are for small campers and some are doubles. Roads are gravel, Restrooms are good. They were being refurbished and painted when I was there. Some long term Tenants which were contractors. Satellite was accessible. GS Discount payment by CC is accepted. This is an acceptable campground for a few nights of the normal traveler. I would stay here again if needed.
50/30/20 amp, sewer good, water 60@ psi. Didn't use Wi-Fi. AT&T cell phone good, Verizon 4G LTE Air Card is good, cable TV is good. Sites are nice not all level but workable. Plenty of room around RV and between sites. Asphalt interior road. Restrooms and laundry are very good. This is a beautiful park. Lots of flowers and they are tended often. Waters lawn about 11 PM every night. GS discount. Satellite access is good in most places. Payment by CC is acceptable. This is a great park and when in this area I will stay here every time. Only Con is that a few sites do not have sewer and there is no dump here. I just pulled into an open site that had sewer and dumped as I was leaving. They do tell you about the dump on the hill at the truck stop.
Shore Services are good, 50/30/20amp, Sewer good, Water 40@ psi, WiFi is good, AT&T Cell Phone good with 4bars Verizon and AT&T modems are good, no Cable, only 4 digital OTA TV are good. NBC, ABC and PBS. Site is long enough for my 38ft 5th wheel and pickup. Surface is asphalt. Wide enough for slides and maybe an awning but not a lot of room in all sites to sit outside. Asphalt is thick and rounded on the sides causing it hard to walk around the RV without turning your ankle. Site Closeness is ok but has trees between each site. Had to walk sideways between slideout and trees when coming up to entrance of trailer. Interior roads are Asphalt and wide enough to access pull through sites. Satellite access is only possible if you are near the highway. All other sites are enclosed in tall trees. No discounts. Payment by credit card is accepted. No Discounts. This park is very dark at night. No lights to help see if driving in or walking around. For what you get here the price of $50 per night is highly excessive. I would stay here again if there were no other place to stay.
Shore power 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi, Wi-Fi didn't use it, AT&T Cell Phone good. Verizon 4G LTE Air Card good. Cable fair. Plenty of channels but grainy. Sites are wide enough barely. Site length is very long. Site Closeness good. Roads are concrete and in good condition. Restrooms a long way off. Didn't use them. Laundry same as the restrooms. Only a couple of Long term tenants but they work here. DirecTV Satellite is good. Credit cards are accepted. Lots of grass and a dog run is available. I have stayed here before and will again.
Shore power 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi. Has WiFi but is not real strong. Used Verizon 4G LTE Air Card which was very good. AT&T 3G Cell Phone works well. Cable was good. Sites are very long, mainly gravel, good for real long RV's including Semi's. Sites are plenty wide with good room between them. Interior roads are good. Restrooms are outstanding. Family type with shower, toilet and sink all in one. There is at least one for each row of sites. Laundry is good but I didn't use it. Very few Long term tenants. DirecTV Satellite is easy access. Credit cards are accepted. They have a good size dog run. Very nice place to stay. Will come here again when in the area.
Shore Power 50/30 amp is good. No Sewer, Water @ 90psi. Wi-Fi Verizon 4GLTE is very good. Sprint 3G is -81dbm. AT&T Cell Phone is very good. No Cable. Sites are long and wide for about any RV. Sites have plenty of room between them. Roads are paved Asphalt with some pot holes. Restrooms and showers were not very clean. This surprised me. No laundry. DirecTV Satellite is easy access. Fee is $20 per night but there is a discount 50% if you have one of the Golden Age or America the Beautiful. Payment with credit card is accepted. This is an excellent park. My biggest cons on the park is the Restroom. They Padlock the gates at 10pm and open at 6am. They cut the grass after I got here. The grass has some burrs that get in my pets paws. I don't give 10's unless a campground is heads above any other campground so this is very well worth an 8. I will stay here again when in the area.
This is a new campground. All sites are complete but they are putting in grass and other facilities. Shore Services 50/30 amp, Sewer good, Water @50 psi, Campground WiFi is good. Verizon 4gLTE, 3G Sprint internet are lousy. AT&T Cell Phone is lousy. Cable TV is different but other say it works good. They give you some type of box to connect to your TV. The Sites and inter road is concrete. Most sites are long enough for Large RV's. Some sites are closer than others but most have plenty of space. There is no Restroom or laundry at this site. Most tenants are monthly or more. Some are stored on sites and used on weekends and such. Satellite access is good in all sites mainly if you have an antenna on a tripod. This is a good campground but will be better when all construction is complete. It is owned by Drifter Campground and you need to call them to make reservations. There is no office here. Rate is based on the monthly price is good plus electric. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 60@ psi are good. WiFi is by Tengo. i didn't use it. At&T Cell phone is from 1 bar to 3 bars. Sprint Air Card is good while Verizon 4GLTE is not very good. Cable is good. Internal Roads and sites are gravel & asphalt. Length good for a long RV and enough room in most to put out slides and awnings. Distance between sites are enough room for awnings but can be close depending on your RV. Restrooms are good and clean. Laundry has 4 washers and dryers in the smaller laundry. Some long term tenants but not a problem. Direct TV Satellite access is good. Cost is $39 for basic and more for premium or River sites. Payment with credit card no problem. This is not a bad park, however there are some good points and bad points. Good if you need it is the electric has sites for RV's that need 2-50amp service. This is for the new big rigs. An improvement that would help is to maintain the sites better. Clean up the leaves and try to get the grass burrs and stickers that my dog picks up every time I take him out.
Shore Services 30/50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40psi maintains about 20psi. Wi-Fi is good, AT&T cell phone is fair. Verizon Air Card is good. No Cable TV. Sites are Gravel. Long enough for any size RV, wide enough to easily park tow vehicle by trailer. Plenty of room between sites. All roads to and into park are gravel. Restrooms and Laundry are clean. Don't see any long time tenants. Satellite is easy to access, no trees in the way. Payment by credit card but no discounts. Owners are friendly. This park caters to ATV owners. There are a lot of ATV trails here and a lot of them stay here. This is not a 10 park but is very nice. I would like to see a dog run. There is an open area some take their dogs, but for small dogs the weeds are difficult to go through. The two Restrooms are in the laundry so when busy it is hard to get to use. No grass at all around the sites but nice grass around the office and laundry. Strong worded signs to keep dogs off the grass. Price is high for what is available in this park. I would stay here again when in the area.
Shore Services 30/50amp, sewer good, water @ 110 psi. Wi-Fi is very good. AT&T cell phone is fair. Sprint Air & Verizon Air Cards work fair. Due to the fair the cell towers were very busy and caused access problems. Cable is good. The area we stayed, the sites are asphalt and there is an area to park your tow vehicle beside the trailer only it is very tight. There was enough room for my trailer, but the truck would barely fit beside the trailer. No room in front. Roads into the park are city street and inside the park are all paved asphalt. When coming into the park the light rail train blocks which way you can enter or leave the park. Your GPS probably won't be correct. You can enter the park from N 1460 W (Garside St) if you are going east on North Temple. If you are going west on North Temple you can turn north into the park from North Temple. Didn't use restrooms or laundry. To far from our site. Directv Satellite was accessible from our site, but some may have a problem with the trees. Payment can be by credit cards. They have built some new sites for monthly tenants which are very nice. Very long and double wide with a storage building on the site. They are suppose to be rebuilding the area between the main area and the new monthly sites. These will probably be monthly sites, also. The service area at our site and some others near by were in very poor repair. They need to inspect their sites and make proper repairs. This is the only place to stay if you want to stay close to Salt Lake City or go to the LDS library. The office personal were very nice and helpful. There is a free shuttle to the LDS library. Our rate is for a week @ $190.27 We would stay here again when in the area.
Shore power is 50/30. Electric is in the middle of the site making it a bit of a problem connecting if you have a short power cable. Sewer is good. They used 3" sewer pipes and can connect in two places. Water is good at 40 psi, but does drops some when being used. Sprint Air Card is poor while Verizon 3G is very good. Sites are very good. Level, wide enough for our 3 slides. You can pull into the site, stay hooked up and still have room around your RV. Restrooms are easy to find and are very clean. They are in the middle of the park. It is easy to find the sites. You drive in just past the office. The sites have large signs. This is a nice park. I disagree with the previous review. The park is clean and we would stay here again when in the area.
Shore power, 50/30 is good, Sewer is good, Water @60 PSI. We didn't use the Wi-Fi but it has a strong signal. They were working on a problem when we arrived. Used Sprint air card and had no problem. AT&T phone 3G is weak. Cable is good. All 145 channels seemed strong. DIRECTV access was no problem from the front row. Sites are very long, wide enough and plenty of room between sites. For a long RV you will need to be aware of the services at the back of the site. Gets close when pulling in. As mentioned earlier, the entrance to the sites are off the street. You will have plenty of room to turn around and go back to the street after you check in. You can park on the street and then pull down further and turn into the rows. Didn't use the laundry or restrooms. Payment was with credit card and received Good Sam discount. This is a good campground. It is beside a cattle auction pen and you can smell the cattle if they are holding an auction as they were when we stayed here. Took the Mural tour and they are quite nice. Used the tour brochure to find the murals by using the cross streets given in the brochure. Owner is very friendly. When in the area again we would have no problem staying here for a day or a week.
We had reservations at Newport RV Park for 10 days. They had no room in the main park, but told us we could stay there for the 10 days in their RV Park Annex which has 30 amp with full hookup and enough room for our 38ft 5th wheel trailer. We agreed to stay in the Annex. When we arrived the place is a very unkept area. The grass in the back was knee high and the entire area was covered in grass burrs. My shoes were so covered with grass burrs, it was like I was skating on ice. We went to hook up to the 30amp service and came to find out that it was only 20amp with the standard 30amp female plug. The breaker was broken and the 30amp receptacle were broken and a service person came to replace it. He said he was not an electrician either. The 20amp breaker would trip if we use the A/C and the TV. We have a medical necessity that requires a 30amp service as a minimum. This service was $23/night. Interesting part here is that they were filling up the park every day. We had to call around to find a park that had 30amp minimum and found one 15 miles south. The office people acted like they did not know that the Annex was only 20amp, but still sold reservations as 30amp so don't be fooled. If you can get a site in the main area it may be a fair place to stay, but it is like staying in a asphalt parking lot. If you can look for some place else first.
Shore Services are good. We only had 30 amp. Sewer is good but has a small opening not a normal 3" connection. Water is 80psi but sustains about 30psi. WiFi is strong at my location, but I did not use it. Sprint and Verizon 3G internet are good. AT&T is good here, also. Have cable at our location but did not use it. DirecTV Satellite is accessible but trees can be a problem at some sites. Sites are very wide and most are very long. Many sites are made two RV's deep so they can park back to back. There is a hedge separating each site giving you nice privacy. If you have a very long RV you can use both sites. I like the restrooms/showers. They are rooms that contain a shower, sink and toilet ,and you lock the door until you are finished using it. My camp site was nice and level. It was only dirt which was nicely raked before we arrived. This reduces the rating for me because it causes a lot of dirt to be tracked into your RV and mud if it rains. Otherwise it is OK. The road to the campground is good. The road inside the campground is useable. It is a combination of oil over gravel and asphalt as a patchwork. Not real rough but better than dirt or gravel. There are some Long term tenants but their sites are well kept. Payment can be by credit card. The rate of $49 per night for 30amp is way out of line. We stayed here because everything in the Newport area was reserved, and they had one site open at the time for the majority length of time we wanted to stay in the area. If we were in the area and the only place to stay was here we would stay here, but the price is what would make us look for a different place.
Great place. Shore Services: 50/30amp, Sewer good, Water @90ps sustains 45psi. Wi-Fi is good. 3G Verizon & Sprint Air Card are very poor. AT&T Cell Phone has only 1 or 2 bars. The sites are triple wide and long enough for almost any length RV. The sites are crushed rock and are quite level. There is a mound with a tree between each site. Roads to and into the park are good asphalt. Discounts are Good Sam, Passport America (check requirements) and Escapees. Satellite access is good in most areas of the park. There are permanent tenants but they are in a separate area and most are well kept. Payment can be with credit cards. Office host is very pleasant and very helpful. This is a great place to stay and we will stay here again when in the area.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45psi. AT&T Cell Phone signal is very good. Wi-Fi is very good. Better than Sprint or Verizon Air Cards. Our back in site is new with 50amp service. It is level enough, wide enough, and we can park our Truck beside the site easily. There is a lot of room between sites for Awnings and Slides. Restrooms are clean in a small building up front. The Laundry has two washers and dryers for $1.50 each. There are some Long term tenants but they are not trashy. DirecTV at night is not real bad. This is the best campground in this area and we would stay here again.
Shore services are good. We stayed in a pull through with no sewer, but used the dump on the way out. This campground is very large and sites are very close. We did have enough room to park the truck on the site. There was enough room to put out the awning and slides. The road into the park is full of pot holes so you should go slow. The road to the sites are very narrow, but these were pull through and really didn't need any extra room. It is in town so it is easy to get to a number of businesses. Price was decent for a KOA. We normally stay in a different campground about 5 miles west, but the campgrounds in Missoula were very busy this time. They have a very nice dog park with good grass and plenty of room to run around. DirecTV Satellite is accessible. We would stay here if the other campgrounds were full but feel this campground sites are real close together.
Shore services are good, Verizon 3G aircard works well, didn't use campground Wi-Fi. Cable was good. Site are good. Level enough and wide enough. They have an area built by the site to park your tow vehicle. Makes it easy to exit your RV and walk back to the car or truck. Didn't use the restrooms. They are built into a portable building. DirecTV satellite is easy to access. We stayed here for a week so the rate is the week rate divided by 7 days. This is a good campground and we would stay here again.
This is a good campground. It is part of a mobile home park, but set off to one side. Easy access to sites from a side road for pull throughs. Sites are no problem being level, wide enough, long enough and plenty of distance between sites. Sewer connections are unusual but no problem. No problem with access to satellite. I have no problem staying at this campground and would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50/30amp. Sewer good. Water @ 60psi Sustains 45psi. WiFi is available, but I didn't use it. AT&T Cell Phone good with 3 bars. 3G Sprint Air Card is poor. Verizon Air Card good. Cable not available. Site is gravel, reasonably level both ways. Site lengths vary, ours was not long enough to park my truck on the site, Site closeness vary also; some have plenty of room, but mine was so close that the picnic table could barely sit on it. Roads are good entering the park and through the park. Restrooms are old and need updating. The showers are separate and that is nice, but they also are old. Direct TV satellite is easy to access. Discounts are not available. Payment can be with credit card. The $35 price for this campground, I think is a bit high. This is a large campground and has plenty of room, overall. I would stay here again.
Shore services 30 amp, sewer good, water @ 50 psi sustains 40psi. Wi-Fi none. Cable none. AT&T Cell Phone is good. Sprint & Verizon Air Cards about -82dBm. Site are close enough to level both ways. Site sizes are all good enough for a large RV. Sites are about 30 ft apart. Roads are compact gravel. Restrooms are clean. Direct TV Satellite access is possible in most sites if it is from a remote. Built in satellites might be a problem in most sites. Discount for over 65 with Golden Passport or America the Beautiful but you have to ask for it. Payment with cash or check only at the Marina or in a drop box at the campground. One consideration. The shore services can be a problem. Most are in the middle between two sites. However they are quite away from the actual site. You will most likely need a power cable extension. If you have a very long RV no problem finding a place to stay. There are a few sites that have shore services that are not shared. These are sites 10, 14, 16, 17, 19, 36 and 47. I couldn't determine where the service is located for site 15. I was told that on a weekend this place is normally full. One other thing, the campground is located off 32nd street from highway 20. My mapping software showed it off 30th street to the north. I would stay here again when in the area.
Shore Services 50/30 amp, sewer good, water @ 70psi but sustains 40psi. Wi-Fi is available but not real strong. AT&T cell phone is acceptable. 3G Sprint & Verizon air cards are weak. Cable is available in some sites. A couple of sites are pull through, but most are back-in. Sites are wide enough for slides and long enough to park truck on site. Sites have plenty of room between each one. Road to park is not shown on our GPS and a sign showing where to turn would help. At the end of Peaceful Meadows Lane you will turn right. Roads in the campground are gravel and acceptable. Restrooms are nice and clean. Laundry has two washers and dryers. Washers are $1.25 and dryer is $0.75 for 30 min. There are a number of trees but you can access Direct TV Satellite. Discounts are available, but you must ask for them or you won't get one. Payment is either check or cash only. If we are in this area again I would stay here again.
Shore services 50/30 amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45 psi, Wi-Fi is weak at the sites, but strong in the office, AT&T Cell Phone is good with 3 bars, Both 3G Sprint Air Card -83 dBm, Verizon Air Card -90 dBm have poor signals. No Cable service. Site is crushed stone and is soft. The site is long enough and just bearly wide enough for our trailer to fit. Our tires sunk deep in the ground on the sides as we backed into the site. Site closeness is good. Enough room to put out the awning without being close to the neighbor. Roads are gravel and good enough to allow getting into the site. Directv Satellite was easy to access. No Discounts. Payment is by cash or check. The owner is very nice and friendly. She gave us a lot of information about the area and told us some great sites to see and photograph. We stayed an extra 2 days to take in the local attractions. We would stay here again, if in the area.
Shore Services 30 amp, No sewer in many of the sites, Water at 70psi, Wi-Fi is good and that is good because there is no Cell Phone, Sprint, Verizon Aircard service here. No cable. Sites are level and wide enough. Our site is long for our 38ft fifth wheel, however, the power and water services are up at the front of the sites. I had to park my truck beside my trailer between a tree and the trailer. There was 20 ft behind my trailer I couldn't use. I have a 25 ft extension to my 50 amp power cord. This allowed me enough room to set my trailer back far enough to keep the front out of the campground road. Twenty eight is ok for electric & water, but $42 is way to much for full service. The road into and in the campground are good. Restrooms are very clean, Laundry has 4 washers & 4 Driers. They both cost $2.00 per load. The dryers only run 30 min, which did not get our clothes dry requiring another $2.00, then the blue jeans still did not get completely dry. No discounts. Credit card is good for payment. This is a nice park and there is some great scenery out along the lake. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, sewer good, water good, Wi-Fi didn't use, AT&T cell phone good, Verizon air card good, cable good, site good, site length 60ft, site closeness with plenty of room for awnings. Roads into the campground and in the campground is good. Restrooms are clean. Directv Satellite easy to access. Payment with credit cards. I like this campground and it's price compared to all the campgrounds for 50 miles. We have stayed here before and will again when we come up through this area.
Shore power is good. Water pressure is about 45psi. Sewer is good. AT&T Cell Phone is good. Both Sprint & Verizon Air Cards are about -73 dBm which is good. Didn't use their WiFi because the air cards are so good here. Cable at sites which is good. Sites are gravel and dirt and are on Tiers. Sites are not very level over all. Some are good but others are way off. Sites are cose but have enough room for awnings. Walking around your RV might be a problem because of the Tier way the campground is layed out. Our site was long enough to park both the trailer and truck on the site with a bit of extra room. Power panels are tall enough to use a surge suppressers and Water faucets are pump handle type. Some of the water faucet connections are about 6" or less out of the ground. Some are as much as 3ft. Restrooms are nice and clean. Office is nice and the campground does receive mail. They have a wash area for the RV. It is like the pressure washers you find in town for your car. You can bucket wash your RV as long as you don't run a lot of water. That is an advantage for those that fulltime. If you stay 7 days or more you get the weekly rate for all the days you stay here. I am not as impressed with this campground as others are. This is certainly not a 10. The Office personal are very good they would get a 10. Roads are beat up, sites are not level, sites are close together. They would have to do a lot of work to bring this campground up to a 10. I might stay here again, but I would also look closely at other campgrounds first.
This is a good COE park. Shore power is good, Water pressure is good. Sewer is at a dump station. Water is quite a distance from the site so you need to have extra water hose on some sites. Our site was nice concrete and was long enough to park the trailer and truck on the same site. Other sites are gravel and asphalt and are not very level. I think they are trying to upgrade this park but it will take some time. It is half price with the golden age passport. It is quiet and not a bad place to stay. I would like to give this a better rating but the sites are not that good yet. I would stay here again.
Shore power 20/30/50 is good. Water is 60psi. Sewer is some what up hill and mine was depressed into the ground with concrete around it. The concrete was in the way that a normal sewer hose connector could not be used. I had to just drop the hose into the sewer pipe and hold it down with bricks. This is a very large park. It is nice and the operators are very good and very nice. The interior roads are paved. The sites are concrete and reasonably level. However the interior road is lower at the entrance and exit of the sites making like a curb that you go over when you drive in and leave your site. Nice grass between sites and plenty of room to put out an awning. No trees in the way. They have really nice cabins and a large pond. AT&T Cell phone is fair in most parts. Sprint and Verizon Air cards are good but the campground WiFi is sometimes better. Restrooms are nice and clean. Satellite is easy to pickup. We stayed here a week for a rally so our cost was different than normal rates. Laundry is good. I would stay here again if in the area.
Shore power is 20/30/50. I have had no problem with power, however the person in another site has had a power problem for a number of days. The park owner kept saying it was his trailer, but when the owner of the trailer used a extension for his power to the adjoining site he had no problem. Water pressure is at 60psi but it does not sustain the pressure all the time. Some times, especially in the mornings, the pressure drops so low the water comes out very shallow. AT&T Cell phone has a good, 4bar, signal. Our Verizon card is better than the Sprint. I did not try the campground WiFi but they seem to have good service. Cable is good with many channels. Sites are all gravel with a concrete slab for a patio. Width of the actual site is narrow and many have trees that are so close it is hard to get into especially the back in sites. However there is plenty of room between each site to put out slides and awnings. Most of the sites are long enough to allow a big rig, trailer and truck. Some of the newer sites are graded gravel and are fairly short and not very wide. Big problem with bird droppings on my Truck. Roads inside the park are gravel the one in the middle is very wide giving plenty of room to maneuver your RV but still has a problem at the sites with large trees close to the sides of the site. There are long time tenants and they are down to a far end. The road to the park is a bit rough and narrow. To enter the park you have to go through a key coded gate and exit through automatic gates at 3 different places. The office is on the second floor of the office building while an indoor swimming pool is on the first floor. An Elevator is available for those that have a problem climbing stairs. Only discount is a Good Sams 10%. The daily cost is $42 which is very over priced. The Park is the only decent park for over 10 miles. The office people were polite and accommodating. One advantage is that you can wash your RV here. The park did have a few children but they were not a problem. They have a good fenced dog area but it is not separated for large and small dogs. The park is away from the freeways so there is no highway noise. If I need to stay close to San Marcos it would be OK to stay here but for the price. Otherwise I would look for a park a bit down the road.
Good shore power 50/30/20. Monthly electric is $0.14 per kwh. Sewer is good and well positioned. Water is 60psi and holds to 40psi. WiFi is very good. AT&T 3G is 4 bars. Sprint and Verizon 3G Air Cards are good, but campground WiFi is faster. Cable is good and clear. They do not have picnic tables or fire rings. Sites are concrete & level both ways. Some sites are narrow but my 38ft 3 slide 5th wheel would fit in most but not all sites. Some are called double wide with plenty of room. The double wide are a bit more expensive. Distance between sites are mixed, some close, some with plenty of room. My door side had a lot of room from the next site, but the off door site was real close to the patio of the site on that side. Roads in campground are concrete except the very back where you have to drive across sand to get to the other side. Most of the tenants are long term. We only stayed a month for $300 plus electric. Didn't use the restroom or laundry which is in the office at the front of the campground. My biggest complaint of this campground is the trees. The road in the campground is concrete originally wide enough from front to back. I don't know if it is just the owners or the city, but they have trees that have to be navigated around, and the road in the campground is narrowed to go around them. I don't know if the city controls the amount of trees that can be cut on a person's property. The trees don't provide any shade for the RV's but maybe for some for the people if they sit off the patio area. I had trouble backing into my site because of the trees at the front of the site being somewhat in the way. Trees in the back of my site limited how far back I could move my trailer limiting how much room I had to park my truck on my site. Many park their tow/towed vehicle sideways across the site. This is what limits my rating of this campground. I would stay here again but would like to find one somewhere else if possible. I don't consider this campground to be a 10 by any means.
Shore services are good. Water is about 40psi. AT&T Cell Phone is good, Sprint & Verizon Air Cards are good. No cable. There are sites to handle big RV's, are gravel & Dirt, with plenty of room for slides and between sites. Road into the park is narrow and rough as well is the road in the park. Did not use restrooms or laundry. Only a couple of long time tenants. Satellite access is good at most sites. No discounts. Payment can be cash, check or credit card. DirecTV Satellite is possible at most sites. This is not a great park but is good for a few days. We would stay here again.
Shore power is a good 30/50amp, sewer is good, Water pressure is 120psi. The pressure was so high it blew the top off of our water filter canister. Be very cautious using the water. Sprint and Verizon Air Cards signals are not very strong. This is a strange layout for a park. Sites are on small circular areas. Easy to back into our site but the narrow one way roads make it difficult to maneuver. Need to watch out for low branches. One M/H ran into some old dead branches from a nearby tree. Plenty of room between sites and they are wide enough for most RV's. We could park our 38ft RV and tow vehicle on the entire site. We did not use the restrooms or laundry. DirecTV on a tripod was accessible but may not be in all sites. 50% discount for Golden Passports. We would stay here again.
Shore services are 50amp good, sewer is good and water @ about 40psi. AT&T cell is strong. Sprint Aircard is -83dBm and Verizon is -75dBm. No cable. Sites are paved and wide enough to handle Big RV's. The sites are pretty close to level. Plenty of room between sites. Roads to and through the park are paved. Did not use restrooms. Directv Satellite is easy to acess. Discounts are available for Golden Passport. Payment can be made by Credit Card. This is a nice park. Pleanty of room to drive through and open area to walk the dog. This is a really nice park and I will stay here again when in the area.
Shore power is good, sewer is good, and water is @ 80psi. Campground Wi-Fi is better than Verizon and Sprint Air cards. AT&T is good. No Cable TV. This campground is great. Good concrete roads, level sites, long enough for my Truck and Trailer, wide enough making it easy to pull on to, and plenty of room between sites. We stayed in B10 which has a large grass area where we could walk the dog easily. There is a pond outside the park area and a RV Service and parts within walking distance. Restrooms and laundry are good. Office and hall are great. It even smelled great when we went in to register. Payment is with credit card, check or cash and Sams 10% discount. Long term tenants are only a couple but not sure if they are here full time. This is a well kept park. I don't give a 10 to many parks but this one deserves it. I will stay here again when we are in the area.
Shore Services: 50 amp, Sewer good, Water at 60 psi, Shore Services are positioned so that they are near the middle of the site making it difficult to position the trailer so I can have room to park my truck. Wi-Fi: would connect but could not get network, AT&T Cell Phone has a strong signal, Sprint Air Card & Verizon Air Card work well dBm about -72 for both. No Cable TV. Site is large gray gravel but not level. Very low on the door side so bad that my tires are off the ground (we have auto leveling). Site Size is wide enough and long enough depending on how you park your RV. Site Closeness is good. Far enough apart to allow awning and plenty of room between RV's Roads into and around campground are asphalt. Did not use the restrooms or laundry. No Long term tenants. Maximum stay is 15 days so no permanent guests. Directv Satellite signal easy to access. Discounts are the standard KOA. Trash is picked up at the sites each morning about 11am. Payments are credit card, cash or check. This is a quiet park. It is far enough from roads and no roads through or around the park to cause a problem. We would say here again if in the area.
Shore power 50 & 30amp, water 60psi, no sewer at most sites. There are two areas to stay. Sites in the back with lots of trees. These have plenty of room to park a large RV but they are mainly 30 amp, with water and no sewer. Satellite is possible but not easy. Sites that are up front are 50 amp in the middle and 30 amp on the back part with water but no sewer. Satellite is accessible in this area. The sites up front are flat but lower in the front toward the highway and good side to side. Very little grass around the newer sites up front. There is plenty of room for slides and awnings. Most sites are back in except those in the middle up front. They have a nice pool. Restrooms are small but nice and clean but it is in the middle of the back area in the trees. Did not see a laundry. If you want a rustic woodsy campsite this is a nice in the back. There is a small playground for children and a volleyball & badminton area. Campground Wi-Fi is available but doesn't look to be very strong, we use Verizon & Sprint air cards which work well. Roads are gravel and sand and little rough in the back among the trees. This is a nice place for a few days using most sites. The owners are nice and live in the house/office on the campground. We would stay here again.
Shore power was 50 amp. Water good, sewer good. Very wooded. A little tight driving around to the sites. Our backin site was long enough to park both the truck and trailer on site. Plenty of room for awnings and slides. Laundry and showers were good. Cable was good. Could not get satellite signal in all sites but could in some. I would stay here again.
The name of this campground has changed from Deerfield Park at Palmyra to Palmyra Golf Course & RV Campground. Shore power and sewer is good, water is 60psi. Site is flat gravel in grass. Sites on west are open and very long. Sites close to the golf course are very wooded and only some are open for satellite. Verizon Air Card works well here. No campground WiFi or cable TV, but OTA TV is ok. No long term tenants. This is a Passport America campground which made it nice. We don't play golf but the course looks nice. We would stay here again.
Shore services, 50amp, sewer is good. Water @ 40psi. Verizon air card is useable but Sprint is poor. Campground WiFi is very fast. You will need a ID from the office. AT&T is good. 3 bars. No cable but Over the Air is ok. Sites in the back are good for Big Rigs, long compact gravel in grass but not all are level. Door side wheels in my site are off the ground. Satellite is good in the back but up around the front it is harder to get a signal. Roads are narrow but easily navigable. Plenty of room to put out your awning. There are a lot of long time tenants and most of the sites are well kept. Discounts are Good Sams and Military. Of all the campgrounds in this area the price and the campground makes this a better place to stay. We would stay here again.
Shore power is good, water pressure is low: about 35psi. Verizon air card is good about 87 dbm. No satellite because of thick trees on the south side. Cable TV is very good. Some Digital channels are viewable, good analog channels. Sites are gravel in grass. Good room between sites. This is a large campground and a very large portion is fulltime tenants. All fulltime tenants seem to have well groomed sites. Road into campground is narrow asphalt two lane. Road in campground is gravel and asphalt and mostly one lane. Though narrow roads, there are no obstacles in the way. If you get the right spot this is not a bad campground. No road noise and is quiet. The rating would be better if the roads were wider, the water pressure was higher and satellite was accessible. We would stay here again.
Shore Power 50/30/20. Sewer good. Caution water pressure is very high at 120 psi. Be sure to use a water regulator. Verizon and Sprint Air cards are good. AT&T Cell phone has good signal. Lots of room to walk your pet. Sites are very long and gravel. The road in campground is packed gravel. Good distance between sites. Office person is nice but not always in the office. No discounts. A number of long term tenants but they keep nice sites. This is not a good place for children. There are a number of construction people staying here. The cable is very good. Satellite signal is easy to access. Owner has a RV Repair shop and a lot of used campers are stored on the outer edges of the property. This is not one of the better campgrounds, but I have been in much worse. I would stay here again if I were in the area.
Shore power 50/30/20 is good, water pressure is 60psi, sewer is good. This is a lot larger RV park than we thought. Site we had is close to level. Quite long but the power is pedestal is not far enough back to use the length unless you have an extension. WiFi at our site is fairly weak. Sprint air card is strong but speed is not good. Verizon air card is strong and speed it good. Didn't need campground WiFi. Cell phone works well. Cable TV at our site was good but the cable is strung from another site. Lots of room between sites separated by grass. Roads are packed gravel. DirecTV is good in the open areas. No discounts and payment can be with credit card. There are many long term residents, but they are very well maintained. There is a lot of things for children to do, however there is enough room that this was no bother. We would stay here again.
Shore Power 50/30/20 in our site #20. This site as well as others are right along side the road past the park. Daytime road noise is distracting. Water is good but from a well. Water pressure is 40 PSI. Sewer is good. Road into park is paved but short. Roads inside park are gravel. Sites are gravel. This park was a farm some years ago and was made into an RV park. The sites were carved out and squeezed around making them located in very unusual places. The site we were in you have to park the trailer back a long way and park up front. This provides easy access. If you park the trailer up front for easy access to services then you must park behind the trailer and back up along 4 or 5 sites to get out. Verizon and Sprint Air Cards have weak signals. Campground Wi-Fi work very well at our site but we are right by the antenna. AT&T cell phone signal is good. No cable TV. There are a number of long term tenants, which were very neat. Our location can get satellite access but those in the back of the campground will have trouble because of trees. Sites are close but have enough room to extend awning. Good Sam Discounts and AAA but that is all. Payment with credit cards accepted.
50/30/20 shore power is good. Water pressure is 60psi. Sewer is good. Didn't use Wi-Fi. Sprint air card is very good. AT&T cell phone signal is strong. No cable TV. Sites are wide enough to put out the awning. There are sites long enough to park tow vehicle on site with good room. Sites are gravel. Road in campground is gravel. Entry road is asphalt. Didn't use restroom. Few long time tenants and sites are descent. Payment with credit card is OK. Satellite is good access at most locations, but be sure before you stay in the site. It has small playground and a fishing pond. Another campground nearby has a driving range, but none at this one. There are three campgrounds in the area, and this one is the second best, but I would stay here again. Owners are friendly.
50/30/20 shore power is good. Water pressure is 70psi. Strong signal Wi-Fi, but I didn't use it. Sprint Air Card is strong -73dBm. Cable is very good. Sites are long enough to park both trailer and tow vehicle on site with plenty of room left over. Separation between sites is very good. Roads and sites are packed gravel. AT&T cell phone is good, 4 bars of 5. No problem with receiving satellite signals. No long time tenants as I can see. Good Sam & AAA discount. They takes credit cards. Restroom and showers are great. They are unisex. Restroom and shower are a single room for privacy and are very nice inside. I would stay here again.
To get to the Casino RV Park you should go on I-80 to Exit 1B. Go north on 24th St. to Mid America Dr /24th Ave. Turn Left on Mid America Dr. Drive East on Mid America Dr until you see the large Casino Sign. Turn Right (North) immediately after the sign. This will take you to the Registration Shack. (Looks like a guard shack). The place you will be staying is in the south side of the RV Parking Lot. This is also beside two roadway's, I-80 and a busy roadway beside the south end of the parking lot. This is a new area and as of today you can not see the sites very well in the Google Earth Satellite view. It looks more like a construction area. All of the services are along the outer edges of the RV Parking Lot. They have 50/30/20 Electric and water. No sewer at the sites and no cable. A sewer dump is by the building where the restroom and showers are as you leave. Over the air TV has only 3 channels. Roads into the area are asphalt or concrete. Grass is only on the outside of the curb. Sites are separated by a stripe on the concrete. Sites are about 20ft wide and 50 ft long. We parked our tow vehicle in the main parking lot across the roadway marked on the parking lot. We paid $40 a night due to the Baseball tournament being held. Another way to rip off customers. I have stayed at a few Casino RV parks and this one is not even close to an RV park, just a parking lot with shore services. Unless you really want to spend your money in the casino, I would not stay here again.
This is a nice little park. Easy back in, fairly level grounds. Great Cable TV, Wi-Fi but not real strong. Sprint Air Card is great. Good Shore 50/30/20 amp shore power. Water pressure is about 50psi. Sewer at each site is good. Plenty of room between sites and you can easily park a tow vehicle in front of your trailer. This is a small jewel of a campground where there are very few on hwy 20. I would definitely stay here again if we come by here. Owner is very nice. Don't by pass this one if you need a nice small place to stay. It is not a 10 but not intended to be.
This is pretty poor campground. Trees hang down over the drive way and would scrape the top and sides of our trailer. The sites are not level. When leveled, our passenger sided tires were off the ground. Shore Power, 50amp is good. Water pressure was only 20psi. No one was in the office and we never saw anyone while we were here. We used an envelope stored outside the office and paid cash depositing it in a slot by the door. 30amp is $25 and 50amp is $30. No way an extra A/C uses $5 per day. Stayed one night so we didn't use the showers or restrooms. This is the only RV Park in the area and will do if you can't go further. Back side of the property is a trailer park called Eagles Nest Estates. Park here only if you have too.
This is a nice park. Shore power 50 amp good, sewer good, water @ 45 PSI. Wi-Fi is weak. At&T Cell phone signal is good. Sprint Air Card poor, Verizon Air Card Good. Cable TV good. Sites are gravel with nice grass between sites. Plenty of room to put out awning. Length for some are short, be sure to ask for a long site if you are 38-40 ft. Road into park is good gravel. Laundry has 4 washers & 4 Dryers cost $1.00 each. Restrooms are nice and clean. Easy satellite, no big trees in the way. Normal discounts. Long walk or short drive to Cabela's store. This is the only place to stay in Sidney NE but is a good place to stop and visit their large store. We would stay here again.
50 amp shore power is good, sewer is good, water pressure was 40 PSI, but sustained at 30 PSI. They use well water and plan to install a new system in the future. AT&T Cell phone signal is strong, Sprint Air Card is strong @ -73dBm. Site is a good width, level and very long. I could park my truck in front of he trailer with plenty of room. Distance between sites is good. No problem with opening awning. Restroom & shower is very good. WiiFi is Tengo and is strong by the shower building. Some long term tenants but not all are obvious. Payment with CC is good. Gives military active and Veteran discounts as well as Good Sam. Trees are not a problem for satellite. While not a 10 it is a nice park. We would stay here again.
50amp shore power is good; cable is good; water pressure about 45psi; sewer is good but a little slow. Sprint air card is good -72. Didn't test Verizon air card. AT&T cell phone is good. Stayed in site #49 which I liked except it was barely long enough to park the tow vehicle on site and was hard to get back into once we went some where. Had to back to site past two other sites. Has a large area to walk dogs which was nice. Did not use camp Wi-Fi. Laundry is very good. DirecTV is easy access. Passport America member. Good for all days. We stayed 10 days. Accepts payment with credit card. Site is level enough. Didn't use restrooms. Hosts are nice and friendly. We would stay here again but would stay on a concrete site. This campground is good but not any where near a 10. Probably one of the better campgrounds around Branson but not a 10.
Shore services good. Many 30 amp only sites but there are some 50 amp. Good water pressure. We stayed in area A which is along the river bank. Sites are asphalt and easy to level. There are no planes, trains or highways near by so it is nice and quiet. Each area is a long drive from the main gate, roads are good. Satellite might be difficult at some sites. We had to put our dish almost in the neighbor's site to get reception. There is a lot of room between sites. Putting out an awning would be no problem. Showers are a pretty long way, but they are very nice. They have the toilet, sink ,and shower in each room. It is much more private. Dumpsters are in a inconvenient area. You can't drive by when leaving and deposit trash. My Sprint air card worked very well. You can use a credit card if the volunteer hosts are not there. The volunteer's can not use the computer or credit card system. The dump station is in a strange location. You have to drive off the road to leave the park and make a tight left hand turn to get into the dump area. They allow you to dump gray water with a hose at the camp sites, so we didn't use the Waste dump. Many of the camp sites have only electric, but no water. We would stay here again. Our rate reflects using the Golden Age Pass.
Office and facilities are up the hill by the street and are still under construction. Pool and hot tub are by the office on the hill. Shore services: 50amp, sewer was good, water 45 @ psi. Sites are concrete, level and wide. Plenty of space between sites. Sprint air-card is very strong: 71. Campground Wi-Fi is strong. AT&T cell phone signal is strong. DirecTV satellite is good as there are no trees. The two washers and two dryers all worked well: $1.25 each. Office is up on the highway. You have to walk quite aways and up stairs, or drive out of the park to the street side to get to the office, showers and restrooms, and laundry machines. Shower/Restroom floors are not level and water pools on the floor. Construction people track in a lot of dirt and the floors are dirty. Building must be an older building being refurbished: openings in the existing wall were cut to make an opening for the laundry. No baskets or way to hang clothes in the laundry area. This is a nice park and will be better when they finish building all the sites. Rate is based on 11 day stay. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park. It is a no frills park. No restrooms or showers. It has full hookups and the power boxes are new and up high to make it easy to use. There are no facilities for children. There is pleanty of room between sites, sites are level and long enough to handle our 38ft fifth wheel and pickup. No one at the entrance to take money, you just put cash or check in an envelope and place it in a deposit bin. Get here fairly early because it was almost full by 6 pm. We would stay here again when we come by. Maximum stay is 2 weeks. Weekly cost is $60. Quiet except for one train about 6:30 pm. Address is 2000 N. Vine. GPS location N28.81537 W97.00861. BC
This campground is about the only one in this area. The sites are arranged in a back to back method. The 50amp we stayed in was long close to level and dirt. Shore power and services are good. This is not a great campground but very liveable for a couple of nights. They do have a few full time clients. Sprint Air card works very well. This is a Passport America campground. We would stay here again for a couple of days.
This campground is a nice campground. Sites are long. Plenty of room between sites. Services are good. Bathroom and shower is good. They have the 30amp covered up in the 50amp sites. The 30amp sites you can not use an adapter to a 50amp. The reason is suppose to be because one time a 30amp service burned up when being used by a 50amp RV. They blame it on using the adapter and not their breaker failure. They also do not allow you to walk your pet around the campground. I was chased down and told to not walk my dog around the camp. They said because people do not pickup after their pets. I showed them a bag with my dogs droppings and they didn't care. They limit you to the sides along the fence or the small or large dog fenced in areas. I will look into the other two campgrounds off 380 before I stay here again.
We stayed in a 50amp site which is in section D. These sites are what I call Side by Side. We pull in facing one direction and someone else beside us pulls in going in the opposite direction. This is due to how the services are installed. The 50amp power plug was in a box about 4 inches off the ground. The Services are installed close to one end which if you pull forward to unhook you almost run off a 4ft drop off. I had to back out to get out of the site with out hitting the shore services. When we arrived a woman was walking here pit bull dog. She went back to her RV and pickup another pit bull dog and walked it around the park. I would stay here again if I have to because it is the only game in town.
This is a nice park. Unusual arrangement of sites. We stayed in a dual site where another RV was right beside us but back behind us out of the way. Sites are concrete. Shore services were in the back so you need a long water hose and sewer hose. Not all sites are like this. We stayed in the Mallard area. Good combined shower/restrooms. They need better directions to sites. Also do not try to drive north on 22nd street to the park. It has been close off near the park. Go further to the new park entrance sign and turn north. They only take Reservations now. Be sure to call in and get one before you go there. Many weekends are taken in advance. I will try to stay here again.
Meteor Crater RV Park is a nice park. Sites are long and plenty of room between them. Shore services are good. Restroom/Showers are great. The only lighting is from around the shower building. They have a gate with a code in front but you can get in from the side gates which are not locked. Don't understand why the locked front gate. Verizon internet is good. If you go to the meteor crater first you can get a discount ticket to the park. We would stay here again.
Trailer Village is a nice place to stay to see the Grand Canyon but I agree with the previous review that Xanterra need to step up and improve the sites. The shore services are good. You have to pay for showers and they are not close to the sites. The site we stayed in was not level, the picnic table was concreted in the ground and someone had bent it over to get it out of the way or run over it. This was not an easy site to get into because of a curb the length of the site, the picnic table and the services location. The trees are all along the campground roads and you have to be very careful not to scratch your top or sides of the RV. The roads around the outside of the campground are nice asphalt pavement. Restrooms and showers are old but useable. The site was long enough to park our TV on site. Be sure to make a reservation because they are full all the time. Because of their location to Grand Canyon we would stay here again.
Blake Ranch is a very nice campground. Shore services are all good. It is mainly gravel, but sites are level, close to a truck stop for fuel. For those that have horses they have sites off to the side for boarding horses. I really like this campground. If your in the area feel good about saying here.
Sam's Town is a nice campground. No problem with pets. If you make a reservation online you need to indicate the length of your entire RV including Tow Vehicle and trailer or Motorhome and Toad. We gave our length as 38ft and we were given a 40ft site. We could not park the TV on the site. We requested a different site and they moved us but charged us an additional fee for the larger site. Call in to the campground and talk to the attendants rather than making reservation online, you may get a poor site. All services are good. The sewer is different that normal. Be careful when you put your sewer hose or it will over flow. We would stay here again if in town.
This is a nice state park. Water, Electric and sewer are good. Sites are level and long enough if you back all the way to the back of the site. Satellite is accessible but you need to get around the trees that outline the park. Plenty of room to put out awning, lots of space between sites. Deer run through the campground every night. They don't seem to be afraid of people. The down sides are there is no internet and air cards have no signal and you have to pay a day fee and I had to pay a fee to make a reservation online. Found an open internet in Electric City around a laundromat near a small RV Park in town to the right above the city. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park. It is not a top of the line but the sites are level, with packed gravel, services are good. Water is 50 PSI. Wi-Fi is reasonable, but it is Hughes Net which means no heavy upload and downloading. Good for email and general Internet use. Host meets you as you drive in and escorts you to your site. As previously mentioned, this little campground has the nicest restroom/shower of any small campground I have been in. It is as good as the 10/10/10 huge expensive parks and better than a lot that I have been in. What I also like is, both rooms have full facilites. Toilet, sink and cabinet, very large shower and tile on all surfaces. The only unusual thing about this park is the manner in how the services are laid out. Something like you can pull in a site and someone else will back in behind you unless you have a motohome. It is right beside hwy US-95 and some of the traffic can be a bit loud, but turn on your bedroom fan and you will have no problem. Compared to a lot of campgrounds I have been to, this one I will stay at again when I return.
Water, Electric and Sewer was good, Site dirt/gravel, level with room for awnings, The price for this campground is good, however this is not a place for children. They have a bar in the back and it can get a bit rowdy if there are a lot of contract people. There are not a lot of choices for campgrounds. I would stay here again, good for a couple of nights.
Casper KOA has not changed over the years. It is a good place to stay. Services are always good. Due to it's location there is no trees and the entire place is gravel, level and easy to get into and out of. This is the best place to stay around Casper. Fort Casper is the only other RV Park, but it is getting better from the last few years but not better than Casper KOA. I will stay here again.
Sunrise Campground services are good. Camp site is level, and long enough to park both the truck and trailer on the site. We use Directv and could not get a good signal. The campground has a lot of trees and is pretty low to the surrounding area and not allowing a good signal. Bear Canyon Campground campground is close by and up high on a plateau allowing good reception. I probably won't stay here again.
Services are good, sites are great. Beautiful flowers through the campground. We have stayed here before and will return again. Sites are level, long and there are trees if you like them. If you use satellite you would be good to ask for a back in site on the south side. We will stay here when back in the area.
This is a great campground. Services are great, Sites are long concrete, really long and wide with other campsites of concrete and asphalt and long. We stayed on the long concrete but would have been just as good on the asphalt which had plenty of room and the Satellite would be easier to access. If your in the area be sure to stay here. My GPS got us on the wrong road. For some reason the first few blocks of Country Club our GPS just does not want route you over it. Restrooms are great. Only down side is the cable has lots of channel but the lower numbers for ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox are very snowy. The quality of this campground should have better cable. If in the area we will stay here again.
Nice Campground, services are good, sites are reasonably level, and long enough for most large RV's. Plenty of room between sites. Large open areas to walk dog. Verizon Air Card works well. When you're here go to Hanks Grocery and see the stuffed animals from Africa that the owner hunted. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park. Roads are paved, sites are concrete and asphalt. Our site 63 was level and easy to get into. Sites are separated by bushes which are in the middle of a grass strip which is about 10ft wide. There are pull through and back in sites. Some are small and some are very long. Our site was about 70ft long with plenty of room to park both truck and trailer. With all of this the sites seem narrow because of the bushes between sites. Sites are slanted making it easy to back into. We could get a Satellite signal from our site, but may have a problem at some other sites due to the trees. Cable is poor on the lower channels which are the local networks. Upper channels are reasonable. Wi-Fi is a joke. You get 1 hour free then have to pay for service. We used our Verizon air card which has a good signal. If there were a better campground here we would stay some where else mainly because of the $44 per night with no discounts and then have to pay for Wi-Fi and have poor Cable.
Shore power, water and sewer is good. Sites are concrete, some are cracked and broken. Pull through was long enough to park both the truck and trailer. Site is level enough front and side. Between the sites there are some that have grass but most have gravel. The gravel in my site was the size of a golf ball and is hard to walk on. Cable is good, lots of channels but many are duplicates. Has signs stating "Please No pets on grass areas" but they have a large dog run that is all dirt. No dog run for small dogs. Office is in the Mini Mart. They have a restrooms and shower the main building but you need a key to use and must place a $5 deposit. The restrooms and showers in the building in the middle of the campground has push buttons but they do not give the code to enter. I would stay here again if I were in the area.
This is a nice campground. Shore power is good, sewer is good, water is poor at 20psi. The water is on a gravity feed and is suppose to be upgraded to a pressurized system. No cable TV, but you can get a couple of over the air channels. No problem with satellite reception. Road into campground is asphalt. You will cross 3 cattle guards before getting to the campground. The road leading around the sites and the sites are small packed gravel. All the sites are close enough to level as not to be a problem. I had a problem getting in my site due to a tree but not all have that problem. The campground is on two or three levels. Sites are not tight. Almost all have a nice grass separation. No problem with slides or awnings except for there is a high wind quite often. Shower and restrooms are very nice and clean. Laundry is 2 washers & driers costing $1.25 each. Wi-Fi is very good. Verizon air card is good, Sprint is weak. AT&T Cell phone is very poor to nonexistent. The problem with this campground besides the water pressure, is that it is a long way from almost everything. The only local diesel is $4.55 per gallon or 20 miles away. Same with a grocery store. Fill up with fuel and groceries before you arrive. I am not a golfer but they have a nice golf course and small restaurant. Don't try to find your site when it is dark. Their signage is very poor. Try to get a host to lead you. We ran off the road trying to miss a tree it was so dark. The area lighting is almost nothing so as to find your way around. This is a very quiet campground. I would rated this campground at an 8 if it wasn't due to the poor signage, and low water pressure. We would stay here again.
50amps, sewer is good, water @ 40 psi. The Wi-Fi is good. Cell phone service is none on all providers. Sites are nice gravel/red stone. Lots of room between sites. Site was level and long enough for large RV's. This is the best campground in the area. It is a ways away from town but unless you have to be downtown this is the place to stay. Others are close and crowded. I would stay here again.
This campground is on top of Raton Pass. 50 amp shore power, sewer good, water was about 40psi. Wi-Fi is Hughes Satellite and if you have your computer to automatically download updates you will be blocked until you turn it off. Verizon Air Card worked with a Freedom antenna. Sites are gravel on top of a hill and are level. Room between sites are good. No problem getting satellite signal. I would stay here again.
50amp electric, water and sewer were good. Water pressure was about 40psi but they were having a problem with their water well, so pressure was very low for a while. WiFi at our site was moderate. We used our Verizon Air Card which was very good so we didn't need their WiFi. AT&T cell phone 3G signal was very good. Sprint Air Card was weak. Cable TV was viewable but snowy and washed out compared with our DirecTV which was great. Sites are wide concrete and asphalt with gravel all around the site and level. No trees or grass. Lots of room between sites and they were long enough to handle large RV's. Roads inside the park are asphalt and concrete and were easy to drive on. The road to the park from I-40 is asphalt and a bit wash board, but easily passable. Laundry is the stackable washer dryer for RV's or apartments and the cost is $1.00 to wash and dry. Restroom and shower is combined in one room which I like. Makes them more private. They were nice, modern and clean. We stayed for a week. Their discount is stay 2 get 1 free. A previous review stated that they smelled manure from somewhere. We did not experience any bad odor at any time. The only thing that we experienced was high winds, which is normal for this time of year. Our weekly cost was $120 which is quite affordable for such a nice campground. I traveled to all the local RV parks and when we are in this area again, this is the only one where we will stay.
This is the best park around Sweetwater. The one in town is so tight I could not get my 38ft 5th wheel down the inside road. This is a bare minimum campground. The sites are wide enough to put out an awning in most places. It is old and not in good repair. It is under new management and they are trying to improve the sites. The new 50amp boxes are in very good condition. The sewer is a long way to the rear. Water pressure is about 40psi. Sites are on what was a grass field. They are pretty even side to side and acceptable front to rear. Wi-Fi is not real strong through out the park. Verizon Air card runs strong, Sprint is barely acceptable. Restrooms and showers are not ones I would use. Swimming pool is small, but not to bad. At this time there are a lot of Construction crews in this park and anything else around due to the Windmill farms being built. We stayed the weekend but would not want to stay here much longer. The WASP Museum is nice and the Allen Family Style Meals is a great place to eat a family style meal. Don't miss it. I would stay here again while on the way to another destination.
Older park with new owners. Sites gravel mainly level not all 50amp. Owners are friendly. Has a number of full time trailers but sites are pretty well kept up. Would be a good place to stay a few days while visting the Turner Falls area. No real place for children to play but owners intend to make more available for families with children. I would stay here again when in the area.
Shore service good. Service pedestal is low to the ground. No WiFi and no cable TV. Satellite signal is accessible. Sites are gravel and of various lengths with enough room between each site. Many sites are fairly unlevel. Had to drop the front of our trailer almost to the ground. Trees at some sites could be a problem. Interior road is narrow but passable. Only Good Sam's discount is available. It is easy access from the interstate and tollway. Sprint and Verizon Air cards have a good signal strength. Has a number of Historic sites such as Thomas Edison's birth place near by. I would stay here again if in the area.
Shore power is good, water pressure about 45psi. Site was long enough to stay connected to trailer. Site was fairly close but had enough room between the next RV. Site is packed gravel. Sprint and Verizon Air Cards are good. The daily cost of $50 to stay one night is way to much for the quality of the campground. There is an additional $3 cost for 50amp service making the daily rate of $53. Using an additional air conditioner would not cost an additional $90 per month in addition to the cost for 30amp. The campground is well kept and not a bad place to stay except for the daily cost. (I have stayed at Buckhorn Resort in Kerrville TX which has concrete pads with full coverage of grass between sites at a cost $40 per night to include 50 service, cable TV, water, sewer, great showers & bathrooms.) I would not stay here again because of the daily cost.
The shore services are good, water pressure is about 45psi. WiFi is available but weak. Verizon Air Card signal is outstanding. Sprint Air Card is good. AT&T Phone is good. The sites are long enough for a 38ft trailer and TV. The sites are asphalt and wide enough. The pull through is slanted and easily to enter and setup. Cable TV is good and no problem getting a Directv signal. Sites have plenty of room between each site. Restrooms and showers are very nice. Laundry is up by the office and could be better for the number of sites in the campground. Discounts are good for Good Sams 10% and Escapees 15%. Weekly rate is 15% off the daily rate. It has a good outdoor pavilion and playground. However the price is excessive for the overall campground. Many Casinos have RV parks at lower price to attract those that will gamble. I would have not problem staying here again if in the area, but would look for one less pricey.
We stayed in Site#50 which is 30 amp. Most of their transient sites are 30 amp. Sewer is not at all sites. Water is about 45 PSI. Be sure to ask what services are at the site you are going to stay in. They have a lot of long time tenants which have full services, and the sites are well kept. There is a lot of room around sites and great to walk your pet. Sites are gravel and fairly level, and the one we stayed in very long. Showers and restrooms are good and are clean. Laundry has 3 washers and 3 dryers. Cable TV is very good. Satellite signal is accessible at some places. I picked up DirecTV at my site on a tripod. Wi-Fi is fair. I used my Sprint Aircard and had a decent signal at -81. Be sure to check the activities. They have a big bonfire each weekend. There were some tenants that played music while we were there. This campground is on the banks of the Mohawk river. They have a great marina if you have a boat. The local police that patrol the river in this area bring their boat to this marina to launch. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When I arrived and connected to the power, my A/C would not work and I thought it was their shore power because my A/C had been working at the previous campground. They helped me check the campground services and later I found that a control cable connector on my A/C had become loose. They do not take credit cards. Cash or check only. We enjoyed our stay at this campground and would stay here again when in the area. I would have given this campground a better score if the Wi-Fi were better, had sewer and 50 amp at more sites.
Shore Services: 50amp. Sewer was good and water was 42 psi. The WiFi is good. Verizon Air card was poor -110 and the Sprint Aircard was -81. Cable TV was good. DirecTV is accessable on the hill. Sites are gravel and the interior road is asphalt. The sites have plenty of room between them. I stayed in site F and could park my tow vehicle beside the trailer. The interior road is very narrow and makes it difficult to back onto my site. One of the fulltimers have a brick wall around a flower garden that was in the way to bend enough to my site. If I had driven in and parked from the passenger side it may have been better. The interior roads are narrow and going up to the upper sites is rough. They suggest you maintain your speed going up the steep hill to the upper campground. Only problem the road is rough and there is a left hand hair pin and it is steeper going to the top after the hairpin. RV's with Tow cars will have to drop them off at the bottom of the hill. There are some long term Tenants located in unusual places. If you stay 7 days you pay for 6 and get the 7th one free. They have a tour into NYC that is $90: not bad for what it would take you to go by yourself, especially if you have never been to NYC before. If you want to go to Ellis Island and Statue Island they take you to the Jersey side which has a lot smaller lines to catch the ferrys. If I were in the area, I would probably stay here again but would be particular where I stayed. This is about the best campground in the NYC area.
This park has made great improvements. The interior road was dirt and grass. Now it is nicely paved asphalt. The City of Asheville and Mr. Wilson has made an agreement to allow a walking and bike path through the park and help keep the park roads in good condition. I have been to many parks and this one is nicer than many other parks I have stayed at. The sites are concrete, electric is good, cable is very good. Water pressure is 40psi but gets a little low when using. Sewer is good but if your dumping a lot it may slow down a bit but does not backup or clog. The restroom and shower is at the far end of the park but is clean. The park is by the exit ramp to I-26. It can be noisy. We use the AC at night for white noise so we hardly ever hear the traffic noise. To get to the park from the exit ramp you do need to pull parallel in front of the Office/Shop building. The traffic is one way which is the I-26 ramp. Only traffic in the other direction is to the RV Park, so there is not real problem swinging around and going back to the park. This is a Passport America park, so for $15 you will not find many that are as nice as this one. Mr. Wilson is nice, but he is calm and may seem not interested, but you have to understand, his real business is the RV repair shop and the park really does not bring in a big bucks, maybe just enough to keep up the park. Actual location is N35.56672 W82.58542. Directions on their website are correct. I will stay here again when in the area.
Shore services are good. Sites are reasonably level. Roads and sites are compacted gravel. There is plenty of room between sites and no problem trees to put out awning. Sites are long enough to park my 38ft trailer but have to park the tow vehicle across the front. They give a 10% discount for Good Sam, AAA, and AARP. Passport America & CampClub not good on weekends. No problem getting Directv. Cable is good with many channels. Wi-Fi is Tengointernet and is not free. Sprint Air card is very good (-70) and Verizon air card is good (-76). When arriving at this park read the directions on their website before you get there. If you turn right on Oakwood Dr. the street is very narrow to make the turn. It is easy to get to the park by going through the Flea Market entrance north of Oakwood Dr. about a half block north on Oak Dr/Hwy 1. Stay to the left once you're going through the Flea Market. Park entrance is on the left. We will stay here again if in the area.
This is a nice park. Sites paved with small gravel on grass or dirt. Reasonably level. Cable TV is good and Directv is easily accessible. Shore services are all good. The location of this campground is a bit difficult to find by using the address. Hwy 170A was changed to Hwy 315 but not changed on most maps or GPS's, and the address on most GPS shows the address on the north side of town not the south side. Go by the GPS if you have one using N32.18829 W81.03020. We stayed in site 326 and it is wide and long with plenty of room between sites. There are full time or monthly tenants but they are away from the daily or weekly sites and they are pretty well kept. There is no shower or bath house. They do have a laundry with 4 washers and dryers. The WiFi is quite good at our site. Verizon and Sprint air cards are good here if you want to use yours, but the campground is good enough to give yours a rest. AT&T cell phone has a strong signal. No Credit or Debit cards, just check or cash. Fully Passport and Campclub USA for all nights stay. You can wash your rig here also. No dog run but plenty of room to walk your for your kids. Dumpster is a fairly long walk but there are some trash cans near by. They also own the Pink Pig just north on 315, if you want some barbecue and sea food. If I get back to this area I would stay here again.
This is a nice place to go to. The campground is a bit on the wilderness side. You park on regular grounds between trees. The shore services was good. Verizon Air card was good. Satellite TV is a bit of a problem but they have cable. I was able to get a Directv signal through an opening in the trees using a Bird Dog. Other people could not access their satellite service and asked me how I was able to do it. This is a very popular place and you need to call in with reservations if you plan to stay here. Weekends and holidays are hard to get in. We moved after two nights to Blythe Island to stay in the area longer. If you leave the island after midnight you have to pay another $5 to get back on the island but if you stay on the island you do not have to pay a park fee for each day. Great to go to the beaches if you have children. There are no gas or fuel stations on the island.
This is a beautiful resort. This park is an owner park that you can rent a site while the owners are gone. All are back in, beautifully landscaped, most have a tiki house on the canal or beach. They escorted us to our site and we never had to go to the office. They are very helpful in getting to the resort from the time you leave the land area of Florida and start to drive through the keys. They are at MM 14.3 and if you go out on Google map or Bing map you can see the campground. Shore services were all good but Cable TV was not as good as I thought it should be. We were in Site 2 and were able to get Directv. Some places might be a bit of a problem but possible. This is an expensive place to stay but not that much more than others in the area, but it is much nicer for the similar price. If we go to the Keys again this would be a place we would consider for a few days but a week or more could be beyond our financial means. This resort is posted in the wrong city. Bluewater Key, Fl is incorrect. If you look it up on the internet you will see it's address is Key West. The location of the park is N24.62396 W81.60076, which is 2950 Us Highway 1, Key West, FL 33040-6131. Their mail address is Post Office Box 420846, Summerland Key, FL 33042. Site moved by admin to Key West.
This is a nice park. It is well in a wooded area between trees. The sites on the back, we were in 86, are very long, about 80ft, and wide enough to put out your awning. Sites are very sandy but leveling was no problem. The shore services are good. The biggest problem is the sand. If you have a patio mat it will help stop the tracking in of sand. Shore services are good. Sprint air Card works best here. The trees and foliage block Satellite signal, but I was able to pickup Directv with a Bird Dog and a long set of cables. I would stay here again if I were in the area.
This is a great park. It is a Passport America also. For 15$ you won't find a better park. Shore services were good. Verizon Air card was good and AT&T was good. No problem for Directv. They have Wi-Fi but it is $3.95 per day. My Verizon air card was as strong if not stronger than their Wi-Fi. The trash is to be taken to compactor which is one side of the park near the middle front to back. This is a pain to take trash to and you have to have a code to use the compactor. Other than these two negative services this is a great park. If I were in the area I would stay here again.
This is a nice park. Shore services are good. No internet and no cable TV. The sites are concrete, level side to side but very slanted front to rear. The campground is a long drive from the office and winds through a lot of trees. If you have a large RV you need to be mindful of the trees and the curves. Hosts are very nice and the price is very good. Verizon Air Card good and Directv good at our site, but could be a problem if your dish is roof mounted. We would stay here again if in the area.
Very nice RV Park. Site paved and level, shore services good. Sites are long enough for a 38ft trailer and to park truck beside the trailer. We were here over the holiday weekend. There were very few people staying here. The campground host said that may be that they do not have a pool. The host was very nice and helpful. Directv was no problem. Verizon air card was good. During the weekend the internet services was outstanding. It was so fast I did not use my Verizon card and uploaded a lot of pictures to my web site. This is a county campground and the internet was through the county server. The internet may be slower during the week days. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
This is a nice park. It has a very unusual entry, which is paved but makes very sharp bend to the left. This is just a caution not a problem. Sites are paved asphalt, are level. Lot of space between sites. They have a great dog park. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. This is open to all the public, not just the campground. They have a lot of things you can do here. They have a mountain bike trail, a place to fly model airplanes, soccer fields. No problem with shore services, no trees so no problem for Directv. Enough room to park the truck by the trailer. No problem with AT&T Cell and Verizon air card worked well. Only thing I would like to see improved is the way the sites are arranged in a circle and improve the asphalt in the sites. Some places are hard to get around and the asphalt needs to be improved. I would stay here again.
This is a great park. Probably hard to get into in the winter, but was great during the summer. Shore services was very good. Site we were in was great. They have a lot of smaller sites with soft sand. The ones in the back are long concrete and close enough to level. They were improving some of the smaller sites by adding concrete. We had the site very close to the showers and it was very good and clean. My AT&T Cell phone worked here and my Verizon Air Card was also good. No problem with Directv in then back area, but some of the smaller sites are in trees. I would stay here again any time I am in the area.
This is a great park. Electric 50amp, water, and sewer are good. Sites made it easy to level trailer and they are long and a lot of room between them. Some places have a lot of trees and others have good open areas so you can get satellite reception. Restrooms are nice and clean. This is one of the places you will enjoy staying. If you have children there are a lot of things to do, and they are separated far enough apart that they will not bother you. Hosts are very friendly. Access roads are paved. Air card worked well for internet and AT&T cell phones worked well. Only negative thing I can say is that there is a lot of sand in with the gravel sites and it tracks into the trailer easily, but that is part of the area. I will stay here again any time I am in the area.
This park is a bit different. It is split into two parts. One, inside a lot of trees and the other in a long open area. We stayed in the long open area which has 50amp with water and sewer which are all good. AT&T Cell phone worked fine as did the Verizon air card for internet. The sites are wide enough to put out awnings and enough room from the next site. Roads are gravel. Sites are gravel and grass. No problem getting trailer level. Did not use restrooms or showers. There were some long term tenants. Some of the long term sites were cluttered but not a big problem. The managers are remodeling the campground and removed the pool. There are not a lot of campgrounds in this area, and I believe this one is about the best. I would come back here again if in the area. We stayed here a week and the cost was $125.
This is a bare bones campground. It has two areas, long term back off the road and short term right off the road. The 50amp and 30amp shore power is good. Sewer is good but a bit slow; water is about 40 @ psi. There is no Wi-Fi. AT&T Cell Phone signal is good. The Sprint & Verizon Air Cards have a good signal. Cable TV is available. The sites are packed gravel about 70ft long and level both ways. They are wide enough for trailer & slides with about 10ft of grass between sites, enough to put out the awning. Interior road is gravel and the campground is right off the highway. The campground has an area for long term tenants and overnight travelers. Directv satellite is not blocked by trees or other objects. There are no discounts. Payment is $20 cash or credit card. The shore power box is very low to the ground. The water faucet is in a box underground. The Sewer pipe is about 4 inches above ground and was partly broken. This is not a bad campground, but it is mainly ran for long term campers. It is along the banks of a nice lake. There are not a lot of campgrounds in this area, and this one is OK to stay for a few day. If the owner would take the time to improve this campground it could be very nice. I would stay here again.
This is a nice park. Easy to access. It's quiet, no trains or highway noise. Has an enclosed dog park near office building. We have stayed here before and will again. Lady in office was here when I arrived (called just before we were here), and was very nice. She lives in trailer beside the office. Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer was good, Water @ 90 psi. WiFi was good, AT&T cell phone was good, Sprint Air Card was poor, Verizon Air Card was poor, Cable TV was poor. Some channels are viewable and Ch 6 is the local ABC. The site was good and level. Had a concrete pad with plenty of gravel on each end to park another vehicle. Site size was about 70 feet long. Had grass and some gravel between sites, and room to put out an awning. The concrete pad was about 10 feet wide. Roads are large stone gravel. Restrooms are clean with shower. Laundry was comprised of 2 washers and 2 dryers: looked new, $1 each. Didn't see any long term tenants. DirecTV Satellite was easy to access. Discounts: GS, Passport, Camp Club USA, Escapee. Payment: Cash for 50% discounts, and no additional charges.
BC-Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 40 @ psi - Wi-Fi: Good - AT&T Cell Phone: Good - Sprint Air Card: Poor - Verizon Air Card: Very Good - Cable: Poor Could not use on site 5 - Site: Poor. Concrete but broken. Un-level front to back and side to side. - Site Size: Some good - Site Closeness: Good. Can put out awning - Roads: Paved - Restrooms: Good In office - Laundry: Good. 2 W & 2 D $1.00 each - Long term tenants: Few or none - DirecTV Satellite: Open area good signal - Discounts: None - Payment: Credit Card - Additional Charges: None - Additional Remarks: This park has a lot of 30amp and a few 50amp. Come in early and get a better spot. We would stay here again when we come through. I would have rated higher if the site pad were not broken and very unlevel.
BC-Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 45@ psi - AT&T Cell Phone: Good - Sprint Air Card:Poor signal - Verizon Air Card: Good -Cable: Good - Site: Concrete pad Grass between sites - Site Size: long enough to park TV behind trailer. Also has concrete pad in back to park a Toad or TV - Site Closeness: Good could put out awning - Roads: Concrete - Restrooms: Didn't use - Laundry: Didn't use - Long term tenants: None - DirecTV Satellite: Good open areas - Discounts: cheaper if you have a casino card - Payment: credit card OK - Additional Charges: none but the price was a bit more than most Casino's. $79.46 for two nights, includes tax - Additional Remarks: Nice park. There is a train track around the back side of the park. Didn't have any trains wake us at night but there were a number of them during the day. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45psi. Wi-Fi: Excellent, I did not have to use my air cards. AT&T Cell Phone: Erratic Good signal much of the time. Cable TV: Good. Site: D-1 Concrete. Site Size: 60 ft and wide enough to put out awning. Site Closeness: Quite a bit of room between sites. Roads: Concrete. Restrooms: Cabin #1 is the restroom and shower. Laundry: Good 4 washers and 6 dryers, they have a used appliance company in back. Laundry: The equipment was in good condition, was $1.00 for each. Long term tenants: Yes, but all is clean and orderly. Directv Satellite: Great signal. Some trees in other sites could be a problem. Payment: Credit Card. Additional Remarks: We stayed here for 3 weeks. Good place to stay. Some sites may take a bit of maneuvering to get into sites. They accept mail. The owners are very nice and helpful. I will stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, sewer good and water@ 45 psi. No Wi-Fi, however the AT&T cell phone had a good signal. The Sprint air card had poor signal, the Verizon air card had a good signal but roaming. Cable TV was good. The roads are asphalt and the site was gravel, level, wide and very long. I could park my truck either behind or in front of the trailer. Site was wide enough to put out the awings. Clean, very good restrooms and laundry: $1.25 for both wash and dry. Quite a few monthly tenants on back row. Neat and clean: no problems, almost don't know they are there. Directv satellite reception was good from front of site. They grant Good Sams discounts, paid with a credit card. They charge more for 50amp. If you have a 50amp RV you can not use their 30amp sites. They don't allow the use of 30 to 50amp adapters. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp. Sewer was good and water was @ 40 psi. Had good AT&T cell phone reception, but no cable TV. Sites and roads are heavy gravel. Did not use the restrooms or laundry. Directv satellite had a good signal. Park discounts for Passport America and Good Sams. Paid with a credit card. This is big park with a lot of gravel: some places the gravel was very deep. Sites are not laid out in a good manner. I was not sure how to go into my site. I almost ran over the sewer. This is not a terrible place but it is not a great place either. If I came here again with all the available parks I would go to the American RV Park across the freeway. For the price as a Passport America campground it would be ok for a night or two.
Shore Services: 30amp only. Sewer had a problem draining. It is city sewer so it can be corrected. The water pressure was good. No Wi-Fi at the park. - AT&T cell phone: Good. Verizon Air card: Good. No cable TV. Sites are gravel and level: wide enough but not long enough to park a tow vehicle on site. Sites are fairly close but acceptable. There's an asphalt road around the park. Did not use the restrooms or laundry. No long term tenants. Had good Directv satellite reception. No discounts and no additional charges: paid with a credit card. This is an older park. It is good enough for a couple of nights. It was warm enough I would have liked 50amp to use the second AC. The sewer at my site had a bit of a problem draining. It did drain but it was slow. The owner said he would get it fixed. It was interesting to see his train collection. It was out side and getting old but interesting to see. I would stay here again if I were passing through.
Shore Services: 50amp, sewer good, water 40 @ psi. WiFi: strong signal. AT&T cell phone: good signal. Sprint Air card: very good signal using Freedom antenna. Verizon Air card: very good signal using Freedom antenna. Cable TV was fair, many channels are snowy. Sites are solid, paved in gravel, may have some asphalt in it. Sites are long enough to park a tow vehicle in front with plenty of room around it. Sites are close with grass between. Awning does not touch neighbor but it's close. Roads are gravel with asphalt. The restrooms are nice and very clean. The laundry is large and open to the town's people. Washers are good and dryers use a quarter for 7 minutes. No long term tenants. Directv satellite had a good signal at end of site. Used Good Sams discount and paid with a credit card. No additional charges. This is a good park. Not great, but the site is level and long with a bit of grass between some. Better than the KOA down the road which is all dirt sites and roads but has grass between sites. Owner is nice, expected to be a grouch from previous reviews but this was not the case for me. Some shorter sites have concrete pad for the RV. Tow vehicles may not fit on the pad but fits in the sites. There is a great, small gravel dog run. One for large dogs and one for small dogs. This is a good park for the area. If you expect lots of grass: this entire area is dirt, sand and gravel. Hard to get grass to grow. I would stay here again if I come to this area again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 40 @ psi - Wi-Fi: Strong, but slow at some times. - AT&T Cell Phone: Good Signal - Sprint Air Card: Poor only 1R - Verizon Air Card: Poor indicates only VRGlobal - Cable: Poor So snowy that it is difficult to watch. Only clear channel is the the Campground and lodge advertisement. - Site: All sites are red dirt. That is understandable. It would have been nice to have some gravel to level the sites. Few are level. Our site has a large tree root where all the dirt has been washed out. The site in front has tree branches that barely missed an RV that pulled into the site. Site Size: Our site was long enough to park TV in front of 5th Wheel. Not all are as long. - Site Closeness: Sites are terrace to some extent but wide enough to put out awning. - Roads: Red Dirt - Restrooms: Locked did not use - Laundry: Locked did not use - Directv Satellite: Good at our site - Discounts: Good Sams or AAA - Payment: Credit Card - Additional Remarks: This could be a great park. It is open all year. The price is to high for the quality of the park. It is the only park in this area so they have no incentive to improve. They messed up our reservations buy miss spelling my name and insulted me when I insisted that I had made a reservation. If there were another park in this area I would not have stayed here. I would never stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp; Sewer-good; Water-40 @ psi. Wi-Fi: very good. AT&T Cell Phone: good signal. Sprint Air Card: good -80 with freedom antenna. Verizon Air Card: good -79 with freedom antenna. Cable: none. Site: gravel, wide enough and very level all around. Site Size: long enough to park tow vehicle in front of trailer barely. Site Closeness: plenty of room with nice grass between sites. Roads: gravel easy to travel. Restrooms: nice and clean. Laundry: small, 2 washers & 2 dryers, $1.25 each. Long term tenants: a few but very nicely taken care of. Directv Satellite: good signal nothing in the way. Discounts: Good Sam. Payment: credit card - Additional Remarks: This is a nice park well taken care of. The people that own the park have owned it for only a year. They are from Texas and are very nice. There is a large open area in the middle of the campground with a large fire pit for anyone or everyone to use. It is quiet here away from I-15 and no trains. The pool is not being used any longer, and they plan to change it into a dog walk. I would definitely stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 50@ psi - AT&T Cell Phone: Good - Sprint Air Card: Good with Freedom Antenna - Verizon Air Card: Good with Freedom Antenna - Cable: Good - Site: Blacktop and close to level. - Site Size: long enough to park trailer but could only park out tow vehicle sideways in back of the trailer due to the location of the services. - Site Closeness: Enough room for Awnings and has grass between sites, however these sites are pretty close. - Roads: Asphalt - Long term tenants: Numerous long term tenents. Some of them are very cluttered. Could not believe that they allowed the site to be so bad. - Directv Satellite: Good - Discounts: KOA discount - Payment: Credit Card - Additional Charges: None - Additional Remarks: This is a decent park. The paved road and sites with good grass between them helps. The length of our site was short and the shore services were in the middle but the sewer was so far back that we did not use it. The office personal were nice and helpful. It is close to downtown and if you want to go to the Latter Day Saints genealogy this is a good place to stay. This is an above average KOA. We would stay here again if we come to Salt Lake City.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer-good, Water-40@ psi. Wi-Fi: Good; Wi-Fi Upload speed is faster than download. AT&T Cell Phone: Good. Sprint Air Card: Good Signal. Verizon Air Card: Good Signal. Cable: Good. Site: Gravel with good width; good grass between sites; Very close to level all around. Site Size: Good length but had to park tow vehicle at angle in site. Site Closeness: Good distance between sites. Roads: Gravel. Restrooms: Very Clean. Directv Satellite: Good signal. Discounts: Good Sam. Payment: Credit Card. Additional Charges: None. Additional Remarks: This is a nice park. Well kept. The owners live above the office and are very nice. I don't rate a campground a 10 unless they have at least level concrete sites and grass all around. But this is a great campground especially for a KOA. They have a $.50 ice cream at 8pm and a free movie outside if the weather is nice. If I am in the area I will stay here.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 50@ psi - WiFi: Excellent Good Speed - AT&T Cell Phone: Good - Sprint Air Card: Poor - Verizon Air Card: Poor - Cable: Good - Site: A10 Gravel Reasonable Level Side to side and front to back. - Site Size: Long enough for TV to be parked on site. - Site Closeness: Great. Plenty of room to put out awning, and walk around. - Roads: Gravel - Restrooms: Clean - Laundry: Clean - Directv Satellite: Good - Discounts: Good Sams - Payment: Credit card - Additional Charges: None - Additional Remarks: This is a great park. lots of grass between sites. If I return to this area I will be staying here. I would give this park a better rating if the sites were concrete and fully level. There is a lot of beautiful flowers all over the park. You have to stay here if your in the area.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 50@ psi - Wi-Fi: Good - AT&T Cell Phone: Good Signal - Sprint Air Card: Good Signal - Cable: None - Site: Gravel and narrow. Minor bit of leveling but no problem. - Site Size: Enough room to park TV in site. - Site Closeness: Lot of room between sites and covered with thick grass. - Roads: Gravel some roughness but not a problem. - Restrooms: Very nice and clean. Walls are made of very nice looking wood. - Laundry: Good. Has 4 washers and a lot of dryers. One washer was not working. - Long term tenants: None - Directv Satellite: Good signal in open sites. Might be a problem if in the tree area sites. - Discounts: KOA card only - Payment: Credit Card - Additional Remarks: This is a very nice park. It has an area for larger RV with lots of grass and other sites that area within trees. There are trees in this area and needed to be trimmed. Power went off once at 3:30 am until 7:30. Don't know the problem. They have a large area to walk your dog. It would have been nice if part of that area was fenced to provide a open run for the dogs. We stayed here a week and highly recommend this park over a lot of others in the area. I am not a big KOA fan but this one is a really nice park. If you stay any where else you will be disappointed. I would give this a better rating if the sites were concrete, trees were trimmed and the roads within were a bit wider.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 40@ psi - Wi-Fi: Strong but with some limits by provider - AT&T Cell Phone: good signal - Sprint Air Card: good using DoRA - Cable: none - Site: Gravel Not level front to back. Needed extra blocks for rear jacks - Site Size: barely long enough to park TV - Site Closeness: You can put out awning but would be close to next RV - Roads: Gravel - Restrooms: Clean - Long term tenants: None - Directv Satellite: available in my site but watch out for some trees. Packed Gravel and level enough to not be a problem, side to side and great front to back. Partial grass between sites and new trees. Great view of the surrounding area. This campground is only 7 years old and the best place to stay if you're going to view Custer's Battlefield. You have to exit off I-90 on 514 then go south about 3 miles go under the highway to the campground. Main road to the campground is gravel. A little rough but no problem. If I am in this area again I would have no problem staying here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 40 psi - WiFi: Good - AT&T Cell Phone: good signal - Sprint Air Card: Poor - Verizon Air Card: Good - Cable: good - Site Size: long enough for 5th wheel and truck - Site Closeness: far enough to put out awning. Some fairly close. - Roads: Gravel - Restrooms & Shower: clean - Laundry: 7 washers and dryers - Long term tenants: Some to rear but only for a few months - Directv Satellite: good at my site. I drove around to see what others are like in this area. This one is better than most. Owners live on site and are very nice. The nightly rate is for 17days.
This is a nice park with a great diversity of sites: trees and open spaces. We stayed in a nice long, pull-through site #22 in the open area to insure a strong DirecTV satellite signal. Good interior road gravel and plenty of grass and space between sites. Enjoyed 50amp service with good water and sewer hook-ups. Also had Wi-Fi but no cable TV. The Verizon air-card worked, however the AT&T cel phone, and Sprint air-card had poor or no service. Restrooms were clean. We had good service and the price reflects a Good Sam discount.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water good - Wi-Fi: none - AT&T Cell Phone: No Signal - Sprint Air Card: poor - Verizon Air Card: Good - Cable: no - Site Size: plenty of length on the west sites - Site Closeness: lot of room between sites - Roads: Gravel - Restrooms: Old but clean -Directv Satellite: clear if out near the road - Discounts: none - Payment: Credit Card - Additional Charges: none other than tax - Additional Remarks: This is a nice park. We stayed on the west side which had plenty of room and 50amp service. All services are to the rear of the site. I believe all the sites are back in but there is plenty of room. We tried to go to West Whitlock which is nice but has only Electricity at the sites, no water except at the entrance to the campground. There is a restaurant across the street. Food is good but expensive for what they serve. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water 40@ psi - Wi-Fi: None - AT&T Cell Phone: None to very little - Sprint Air Card: Poor signal - Verizon Air Card: Very good with Freedom Antenna - Cable: None - Site: 16. close to level. Other sites very poor. - Site Size: Wide enough but a little short to pull in and out with the TV - Site Closeness: Grass between sites. Can put out awning with no problem. - Roads: gravel and rutty - Restrooms: in motel - Laundry: in motel $1 to use each washer and dryer. - Long term tenants: a lot of pipeline construction people using sites - Directv Satellite: Good - Discounts: None - Payment: Credit card, cash or Check - Additional Remarks: There are very few choices of RV parks in the area. This one is built on the side of a hill. I would check the site being assigned before you pay. Site #16 is good. If I could pick the site I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45psi - WiFi: Not available at campsites - AT&T Cell Phone: Good signal - Sprint Air Card: Good EVDO - Site: 28 narrow and behind building - Site Size: had to park TV Sideways behind trailer - Site Closeness: good distance between most sites - Roads: gravel - DirecTV Satellite: Could get signal from this site but others would be a problem. - Discounts: Camp Club USA. - Payment: Cash or Check - Additional Remarks: This is a Camp Club Park and they want you to call and let them know your going to use the discount club. Easy location to get to different attractions in the area. We would stay here again if we could get a good site.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 50psi - WiFi: None - AT&T Cell Phone: Fair strength 2bars - Sprint Air Card: Weak but acceptable with Freedom Antenna and amplifier - Cable: None - Can pickup Over the air local Digital TV. Site: 11 Gravel with some grass between sites - Site Size: long enough to park TV - Site Closeness: Fairly close. Common location of Shore power putting service side of trailers close together. - Roads: Gravel and dirt. - Restrooms: None Porta Potties - Laundry: None - Long term tenants: None - Directv Satellite: good at our site. Others may have problem. - Discounts: None. Does give $10 comp to use in Casino - Payment: Credit card - Additional Charges: None - Additional Remarks: For a Casino this is not a very nice park. Our site was pretty level both front and sides. This is quite a way off the main roads but road is good getting here. Wal-Mart is in Shawano which is 17 miles away.
Shore Services: 50amp, No Sewer at our site but others had sewer, Water @ 40psi - Wi-Fi: Extra cost per day -AT&T Cell Phone: Good signal - Sprint Air Card: poor signal strength - Cable: none - Site: 45 is backed up to the lake and under tall pine trees - Site Size: Large area plenty of room. parked TV in front of trailer - Site Closeness: our site had plenty of room. others are fairly close but acceptable - Roads: gravel and dirt - Directv Satellite: Good reception at our site. Others may have problems - Discounts: No discounts - Payment: Cash or Check only - Additional Charges: Extra charge for using A/C, Wi-Fi. - Additional Remarks: Owners are nice but business like. This is a small park and we really liked the sites by the lake. We would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50 & 30 amp, Sewer good, Water pressure good - AT&T Cell Phone: Strong signal - Sprint Air Card: Strong signal with Freedom Antenna - Cable: Good - Outdoor antenna reception: good with HD - Site: asphalt with grass between sites long enough to park truck and trailer on site - Site Size: Sites on the south side are the ones that have grass and asphalt. On the north side the sites are asphalt are shorter and have gravel separation rather than grass - Site Closeness: Sites on the south are further apart while those on the north are closer but both have plenty of room to put out awnings. - Roads: roads inside park are good asphalt. A bit rough outside park - Restrooms: Locked with a card key. Never used - Laundry: Locked with a card key. Never used, $2 for each machine. - DirecTV Satellite: Good at my site - Discounts: Good Sam's only - Payment: Credit card, cash or check - Additional Remarks: Park is fully fenced with 6 ft chain link. Sites are not quite level, had to use the Lego blocks 2 high to level. Security guards drive around 24 hrs a day. You can call the security and they will give you a ride to and from the Casino or Metro to the Arch. There is a train that goes north and south on the east side close to the park. There is a Pilot and Flying J a few miles east of the Casino for Diesel. I would stay here again.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45+ psi - AT&T Cell Phone: Good signal - Sprint Air Card: Strong signal. I use a freedom antenna to assist air card - Cable: Excellent over 100 channels and XM music. Better than most. - Site: 80 - Site Size: about 60ft. Long enough for my 38ft 5th wheel but not the Tow Vehicle - Site Closeness: Close. They park the units so they use the separate shore power at the same location. - Roads: Gravel packed partly rough. - Restrooms: Locked. Need to check out a key. - Laundry: Good small but works well - Long term tenants: Didn't see any DirecTV Satellite: Good signal - Payment: Credit card - Additional Remarks: The way they park you, door side to door side, makes it close when opening out the awnings. They have sites on the far end that are about double width than most of the sites. They cost a little more but would be worth it. There is a train that goes by and will be loud if you don't have white noise. - When we stayed here it had rained a lot and the lake was up almost to the first row of sites. Close to Branson Landing shopping area. Not a bad place to camp. Would stay here again but I would look for the larger sites at the end.
Shore Services: 30amp, Water @ psi 45 - AT&T Cell Phone: Strong - Sprint Air Card: Good with Freedom Antenna - Site: E3 - Site Size: about 65ft long - Site Closeness: lots of room - Roads: Asphalts - Restrooms: clean - Directv Satellite: Good at site - 48 192 - Discounts: Golden Passport for 50% - Payment: Credit card - Additional Remarks: This is a great park. Lots of trees so not all sites can get satellite signal. Found a nice spot in area E that was easy to set up. Lots of rain in the last few days. The river was high but not bothering any sites. One of our favorite places. Will always stay here if in the area.
Shore Services: 50amp, Sewer good, Water @ 45psi -- AT&T Cell Phone: Strong -- Sprint Air Card: weak signal. Improved with Freedom Antenna. Site: B11 Good Asphalt & Level -- Site Size: 70ft long -- Site Closeness: lots of room -- Roads: Asphalt -- Directv Satellite: Good signal on lake sites -- Discounts: Golden Passport -- Payment: Credit Card -- As previously noted avoid the Steep Railroad crossing on Clear Springs Road. I would have drug the bottom of the trailer if I had not previously installed larger axles which raised the trailer about 3 inches. To get to the park from Hwy 67 go to FM 2148, east of park and enter on Sorsby Lane about 3 miles south. From Hwy 59 go north on FM2148 to Sorsby Lane. The phone number shown is for the COE Reservations. You need the park number 903-838-8636 to speak to the park host. It had been raining a lot before we arrived and the A sites were under water. This also caused Sorsby Lane to be flooded, so we had to use Trexler Rd, a narrow road which follows the railroad tracks to FM 1218 and then to FM 2148. This is a rough road but passable. This is a beautiful park. I will stay here again.
Shore Services: 30 & 50amp good service, Sewer good, Water @ 30 psi, a little weak for us; WiFi: Weak - Didn't use it.This internet is not free cost about $24 per month. We Used our Sprint Air Card.; AT&T Cell Phone: Strong; Sprint Air Card: EVDO -80 to -84. Used small antenna got -78; Cable: Good; Site: Not real tight could put out awining. Plenty of room front and back; Site Size: about 20 x 70. Mainly dirt and some grass.; Roads: Paved; Restrooms: didn't use; Laundry: Good; Long term tentants: This is mainly a Snow Bird park like most in this area. Directv Satellite: From our site good signal. 59 - 179; Discounts: Good Sam only; Stayed a week & 3 days; Payment: Check or Cash No Credit cards; Additional Charges: Refundable deposit for entry card and dog walk card. Do not use your GPS to make your way here. Call the park and get directions. Entrance is at Lat 26.21900 & Long -98.37332. Streets & Trips 2009 has a good location.
Shore Services: Mostly 30a limited 50amp but services is good, Sewer good, Water pressure over 40psi - WiFi: None - AT&T Cell Phone: Good signal - Sprint Air Card: 1x only -80dbm - Cable: Good. Surprising how good it is for such a small park. - Site: Grass - Has grass burrs that get in the RV. Had to level but it was reasonable for this type of park. - Site Size: Long enough for most RV's - Site Closeness: Fairly close. Can open awning with no problem of being to close - Roads: Gravel - Restrooms: Didn't use - Laundry: 2 washers & 2 dryers in office. Not accessible late in the evening. - Long term tenants: a few contractors living here. - DirecTV Satellite: Didn't use sat. Nothing to block reception - Discounts: None - Payment: $20 Cash or Check Only - No Credit card - This park is ok for a night or two if you are just passing through. If you need to stay here for a longer time it would be ok.
Shore Services: 50/30 amp, Sewer, Water @50psi Wi-Fi: No AT&T Cell Phone: Good Signal Sprint Air Card: 1x -19dbm Cable: No My Site#: 27 Site Size: about 55 ft. Room to park TV in front or along side Site Closeness: lots of clearance between sites. This site is narrow but others are better. We picked this one because we wanted by the lake to get Satellite. Roads: Asphalt through out campground and on sites Restrooms: Did not use Laundry: Did not use Directv Satellite: Good 51 192 Discounts: none Payment: Credit card or Debit ok Additional Charges: None. Additional Remarks: This is a beautiful park. Some sites may need a little leveling. Mine was good as is. They have a fantastic walk and bicycle Path. Not all sites can get Satellite but those on the lake have a good southern exposure. Good for Directv and Dish Network. Some back in sites are short but have a place to park TV. Pull thru are very long. I like the back in that are along the lake shore. Beautiful park. I will stay here again when I get in the area.
Shore Services: 50amp & Sewer good, Water tested @ 80 psi Good access to connections. Wi-Fi: Worked good @ 7B AT&T Cell Phone: 5 bars Sprint Air Card: 1x -94dbm Cable: poor on site 7B Site: Level Concrete, with grass in between, mostly pull-thru Site Size: Long enough to park Truck (about 70ft) Site Closeness: Fairly close. Awning would be close to extended slides Roads: In and around are stone, stone lead up to site pads for parking. Restrooms: Nice and clean Laundry: 2 Washers $1.00 & 2 Dryers $1.00, look new Long term tenants: Some but kept neat Discounts: Camp Club USA, PassPort America Additional Charges: Charged $3 extra for 50amp Advertises $2 Directv Satellite: Good 50 - 202 Discounts: Camp Club USA, PassPort America Payment: Cash or Check only when using Discount Plans Additional Remarks: Does not allow electric heaters (but charges extra for 50amp?) No campfires Pet restrictions: No Rottweilers, Dobermans or Pitt Bull The owner of this park strongly expresses no use of Electric Heaters, Rules on handout and through out the Laundry and restrooms. There was an ant mound at our site but the owner has done a good job of getting rid of them. We did not have an ant problem. I would have given this park a better score if the Cable was clear and the sites were a bit further apart. We would stay here again except during a time that heating would be needed.
This campground is new. The owners are nice and are working to make a good place to stay. The roads and sites are gravel. The sites are far enough that you have room between your awning and the site next to you. Grass is between each site. The shore power is good, Water is about 50 lbs and sewer is good. The Cable is good, a little fuzzy on some stations but viewable. Site was level enough that I did not have to level side to side, front to back was a little off but not a problem. There are no trees for shade around the existing sites. The restrooms are clean. I would be sure to use shower shoes if taking a shower. The laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. $1.75 for washers $1.25 for dryers. Both are new and were working good. The restroom and laundry are in the same building which is set quite a distance from where the sites are located. Will be more central later when they add more sites to the north which has some nice trees. There are some extended stay clients, but the sites are clean and not cluttered. I would stay here again when passing through.
This is a nice campground, Camp Club USA and Passport America. We stayed here 4 week days. 50amp, water, sewer, cable tv and Wi-Fi are good. At first I was not sure if I would like this campground or the site I stayed in. The site was #1. The cable is jury rigged at this site and the ones next to it. Many of the sites were shared back to back but each having it's own services. Most sites are very long. I had to use blocks to level side to side but had to drop the front almost to the ground to level. This makes it difficult to raise the front when getting ready to leave. I came to really like site 1. It has a small fence around the door side and gave us a separate area to sit and our dog to lay. I would come here again.
This is a nice campground. The sites are gravel, pretty level with lots of room between sites which is covered with grass. 50amp, water, electric, Cable TV and Wi-Fi were all good. Once I was at the site I liked it better. AT&T cell phone does not work here. We would stay here again. My biggest complaint is that some of the tree branches were too low as we came into the park and as we went to and from our camp area. We stayed in U111. 800-258-9532
We stayed in the Horse area. Site was a little small, gravel, had to level a little from side to side. Power and water are at the back of the site, sewer is in the middle but almost buried. This is an older park but a decent place to stay. Some of the sites are small in other areas of the camp. This is a great place for people who have horses. We stayed here a week using Camp Club USA. They also accepts Passport America. We would stay here again. (866)932-2674 and (877)335-5596
This campground has a lot of seasonal sites. We stayed in the Nashville area in the front close to the office on huge concrete site that was 30x60. Water, electric and sewer was good. Wi-Fi was strong for access but did not connect to the internet. We have a sprint Aircard and used it instead. This campground caters more to people that want to attend concerts such as Billy Ray Cyrus or Keith Anderson who performed the weekend before we arrived and Charlie Daniels was scheduled to perform the following weekend. If you stay on a weekday, can get in the Nashville sites and have Camp Club USA it isn't a bad place to stay. We would only stay here for a couple of days when passing through. If you stay here say Hi to the gentleman who lives there and loves dogs more than people.
Caution for those that have large rigs. We have a 38 foot fifth wheel, add our full size truck, and we are about 54 feet long. When you enter this park there is no turn around without going all the way into the park. There are two large trees that you have to go between and they are close. We stayed in the only pull through site #71 at the far end of the park. Pulling out we came real close to trees and large rocks. If you are not really sure how to maneuver your trailer or MH, don't go into this park. Now this is a nice park. We liked staying here. The 30 amp electric, water and sewer was good. Cable TV was great. Can't get satellite because of the trees. We were here on a weekday and it was nice and quiet. Our Sprint Air card worked at 1x, which was enough to read email, IM and other minor web activities, using a Wilson Trucker antenna. They have Wi-Fi in the office but not out through the campground. Lightning damaged part of their equipment and they are working to add more Wi-Fi access points in the future. The couple new owners are very nice. The park looks nice. They have a lot of seasonal sites and they are required to keep them neat and clean. This is a Passport America and Camper Club USA park which helps on weekday stays. If I had a smaller rig, I would stay here again. Call before you make plans to stay here especially if you have a large rig. This is a great place for Tent Campers, Popups and such.
This is not a place for a large RV. We stayed here in a 38ft fifth wheel. They have a number of seasonal sites which are neat and clean. The pull thru we used was barely big enough for us to pull into. The site was very slanted front to back. No 50amp service but we only need 30amp because it was cool. Water was hard to connect to and pressure was about 30-40 pounds but went down to zero at least once. Electric pole did not have a breaker and we had to tie our plug into the outlet. The outlet was in good condition but had an edge that would not allow our plug to fit in securely enough. Sewer was good. This is a nice place for smaller trailers, RV's or tent campers. Down below where we stayed they had a lot of pop-up, small travel trailers and tent campers. This area is nice. They have bumper boats and little race car track for kids. I liked the area. I had a trailer problem and the owners went out of their way to get me help in fixing the trailer. They even told me to stay as long as I needed to get the repair done and not to worry about the cost for the site.. I would stay here if I had a small trailer or were tent camping. Beautiful area on the Cabot Trail. WiFi is 16km north at Margaree Forks library or 14km south at a public access near a car dealership.
This is a great campground. Could not get a strong sprint signal for my Aircard. The campground Wi-Fi was great. Cost is $1 per day and is worth it. Electric, water and sewer were good. Sites are grass/gravel but good condition. We stayed here for over a week so we could collect our mail and meds before going into Canada. Owners are great. They live on the campground in a Motorhome. We will definitely stay here anytime we are in the area.
This is a nice campground. The sites are very wide and room to pull the tow vehicle on the site. The sites are grass, level and terraced at many. We use a 30am site, water was good. Sewer was in a bad place. It was almost under the trailer when we first pulled into the site. Wi-Fi access points were plentiful, and accessible. Only problem many of them would not connect to the internet. We had to go to the laundry to get on the internet. I ended up going to a laundry a couple of miles away and got on the internet through a motel close by. Roads are single lane and cause a problem when someone else is going the other way. Both of us have to drive partway off the road. There are nice trees around many of the campsites. Only problem is they are so close it is difficult to pull into the site. We stayed here a week and would stay again.
We stayed here in a 38ft Fifth Wheel. Our site was wide enough for our 3 slides and long enough to park the truck in the same site. Cable is only in 30am sites. Over the air TV has only 2 good channels 3 & 5. Electric does not have a breaker at the site. You have to plug into a hot circuit. Water pressure is good. Wi-Fi did not work for the first two days. Wi-Fi worked but was slow sometimes due to many people using the service. Drives are dirt with gravel. Sites are built to handle two small RVs or one large. Picnic table was so old I did not want to use it. Site had large groves in the ground from previous users. I would stay at this campground again but it could be improved by leveling the sites better, provide cable in all sites and a better Wi-Fi.
We stayed here for a month to get our trailer repaired, and stay for the 4th holidays. The Sites are level, services are good. The water is well water and has a lot of iron in it. Will stain things use with the water and has a smell in the mornings. This is a great place to stay. WiFi is weak but we full time and use a Sprint air card which has a good signal. Directv is good and so is local tv. We will stay here anytime we come to Elkhart.
This is a nice park. Roads are asphalt paved, grass between sites, plenty of space between sites, Shore power services good. WiFi weak at our site. About 12 miles from Niagara Falls. This is not in the City of Niagara. It is in North Tonawanda. Easy to get to. Motel does not bother campsites. I would stay here again. Better than most in the area, but expensive for us.
This campground is actually in the city of Milford, NY. Do not follow your GPS to get to this campground. Follow HWY 28 to Seminary Road. Do not take Burke Hill. Their Directions state this but GPS will show Burke Hill which is a real bad road. This is a nice campground. A lot larger than it looks. It has some very wooded sites that are great but you won't Sat there. We got Directv in site C14 35 226. Showers and restrooms are distant but clean. Trash bin is at front. Sites are not quite level. Took two lego blocks to level. Good room between sites some grass but a nice open areas for walking dogs. Great swim pool. Has many nice cabins. A little expensive for us. Wal-Mart is 11 miles away but P&N grocery about 5 miles. Only negative is that the shore power is close to the front of the sites. Had to park TV in rear once disconnected. We would stay here again.
This is a decent RV Park. It now has all concrete pads. Most are big enough for a big rig. We have a 38ft 5th wheel. Pads are fairly level except the ones away from the river. We had to make a large adjustment to level our trailer. We moved to a different site and had little problem leveling. Water pressure is around 25-30, with high chlorine content. Water filters cleared that up. Electric was good. Some indicated that they had a very low voltage at their site, but I had no problem. Cable is great with about 100 channels. We could only get Satellite on the river sites. RV Office is about 100 yards from the camp sites and part of an RV repair garage. Entering the park is a bit unusual. From I-240 Exit 1C you have to go down to the Office/RV Garage and make a U turn using a paved road to get into the park. This is a Passport America park; $26 full price, $13 Passport America for 1st day $16 for more. Tony, park owner, is not very cordial but easy to talk to if you take the time to get to know him. The park is close to Biltmore Estate and Blue Ridge Parkway. We stayed here a week, and I would stay here again.
This park had a lot of FEMA trailers from the hurricane, but only one or two were still there. We stayed only over night. This is a fairly good place to stay. I would stay here again if I were passing through.
This is a different park than shown. They have moved the park north on Hwy 49 to 1616 US-49. They are doing a lot of remodeling and construction in the front area. When we first drove in we almost turned around and left. After they took us back to where we were to stay the area has wide campsites among trees. This is a nice park and will be better in the future. I would have no problem staying here again.
This is a great park. Very new. Wi-Fi is not free, but later this year they plan to provide free service. As mentioned earlier you need to watch the turn off the Raford Road onto Geneva Drive. There are a few tree branches that need to be aware of but are avoidable on the city street leading up to the campground turn off. We were at a rally and paid rally prices. I would stay here again.
This is a beautiful park. If you have never been here you need to stay at least once. Most sites are 30 amp. 50 amp sites are marked with a blue sticker. Very few places can you get sat due to the trees. Cable is usable, but some are very fuzzy. Glad we had that. Air TV with the Batwing is not very good. Toilets and bath houses were very clean. Lots of squirrels. WiFi was very good outside the office but not accessable at campsites. Sprint Air Card was usable but not for large upload or downloads. I plan to come back here again when in the area.
As previous post indicate this is a nice campground. WiFi is provided by Tengointernet and is not free. No Cable TV. Local TV is not clear with Batwing Antenna. We were in Site PP6 and could get DirecTV by setting Sat at end of site near road. There are some sites that you can not get sat signal due to trees. Zip is 29455, 45 220. Some sites are larger and some have grass area. I did not need to level the trailer. They will receive mail at their office. A new Wal-mart is close. They give you the locations of a post office, Lowes, Home Depot and other places. We would stay here again.
This is the worst campground I have ever stayed in. The 50amp electric is on the wrong side, no breaker at site. Water pressure is 30lbs, sites are asphalt, mostly worn away and groved. At my site I did not have to level my trailer. Park is full of contract people. The man that showed me to my site had a very bad attitude. If I had not already paid for the site, and were not traveling with friends, I would have gone to another campground.
I have read all the following reviews in both review areas. What was stated is correct. However the experience we had was extremely bad. We arrived here to stay a week. After three days the Santa Anna winds blew dirt and flys over the campground. We came back from visiting family and had decided to move because of the violent winds. The inside of our trailer was literally covered with flys.. The park does not have cable TV so we used our Directv. The winds blew our antenna across the road several times even when weighted down with bricks. I had to tie it to the trailer. If it had not been for the violent winds and flys we would have stayed the entire week. The personnel here are very nice and friendly. They offered us a rain check on the days we did not use. They would not reimburse us for the days we did not use. We have moved to another campground and still have a few flys in our trailer. This really is a nice park but because of the winds and the flys we will never stay at this park again.
This is a nice park. Restrooms & showers are clean. The park is pretty new as is with most of Yucca Valley. At this time they do not have sewer. They had sewer but the California environment or something came through all of the area parks and shut down the sewer dumps. No WiFi, cable TV is great, electric is good, water is city water. We used distilled water because we did not like the taste of the water. When I called they told me they have a small site and a overflow site. The small site is beside the office and only big enough for a van size rig. The overflow site is outside the park in the back. We were surprised when we saw the location. It is more like in an alley. We just wanted to stay one night so we stayed in the overflow site. There is another campground but the overflow site is 10 times better than any place in the Motel RV park near by. We had no trouble staying here because we were visiting friends. I think a few of the people staying here are long term. This is in the area of the Joshua Tree National Park which is interesting to drive through.
I have read the reviews of this campground. This is Arizona. There is little grass and lots of dirt and sand. This park is like being in the mountain area. Lots of pine trees, roads are dirt and rain washed. Sites are not very level. You have to drive through carefully because of the trees. Tried to get a local tv station. Could only get one and it was fuzzy. Our biggest problem was the 7,600 ft. altitude. We were not use to the thin air and had to leave after the first night. We were going to stay for 3 nights but they gave us back our fee for the other 2 nights. This is not a Resort. It is more like being in the sticks and not for everyone. The people are great.
This is a normal KOA campground. We were passing through during the Balloon Festival and were lucky to get a site. The site we were given for our 30' Fifth Wheel was barely large enough for the trailer. We blocked the roadway when we pulled in and were unhooking. Had to park the truck behind the trailer and partially blocked the RV next to us. The personnel working at the park were very nice, helpful and accommodating. They had a real tough job at this time of the year. I will avoid Albuquerque during the balloon festival next time. I would stay here any other time.
We stayed here 4 days. This is a nice park. The roads are paved and wide. The sites are pea gravel and are very clean. Water pressure is a little low if you want to take a shower. Electric runs a little low, when using the A/C, but we had no problem. The laundry is great, the restrooms and showers are great. For those who have horses, they have a seperate area to house your horses. There are workampers who are very nice. There is a Petro truck stop between the campground and I-40. No big problem with truck or highway noise. Wi-Fi works and is fast, however I kept being dropped out. Had to keep reconnecting while using it. I ended up using my Sprint Air Card at 1x to read and send email. I use Outlook and their server will not pass my email. Overall this is a great campground and the only compalint is the Wi-Fi not being stable. They give a discount of 10% for Goodsam and 15% for Escapees. We would definitely stay here for a day or a week or more if we were passing this way.
This is a large park. Some of the sites are laid out in an unusual manner. The site we stayed in were side by side using the same water post (two faucets on the same location), cable on a splitter from one source. Electric in the same box. I asked for a 30amp but was given the 50amp of the box that the person next to me was using. WiFi cost unless you go into the office. Large gift shop. People working here are nice and are work campers. I am a member also. They were not very familiar with some of the local facilities. It rained heavily the night we stayed. Had to level the trailer over 2”. The area is a tourist trap and they get a lot of business. If you stay here go over to the Flying J and have a good Chicken Fried Steak. I would stay here again if I came through.
I read the previous reviews. The person that could not find the campground had to have a problem. It is on US 277 or 5th Street. I had no problem finding it. There are even signs pointing to CAMPGROUND. Chris and Stu work the desk. Chris is a nice lady, very easy to get along with. Stu is what I would call an old farmer. He has the old worn face and the attitude that a lot of people might not like. If you had to answer some of the dumb questions he is asked, he would hand you your SIGN.. The restrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen in any campground. The campsites are a bit unorthodox. We got there late, after 6pm with no reservation and they put us in a site and said come see us in the morning. They have sites for persons that stay a week or more and sites for those that were in and out. They also will accept mail for those that stay a week or more. We are Fulltime and that is a good bonus for us. We have a large dog and you should see their dog area. It is unique and pretty large. I wish they had a fence around the dog area and a trash can to dispose of the droppings so you did not have to walk to the dumpster. If we get back to Wichita Falls we will stay a week with Chris and Stu.
This is a very nice park. It is well maintained, the showers and restroom is very clean. The sites are very long. Could park my 5th wheel and pickup on site and not extend onto the roadway. Sites are gravel but level and I did not need to make any adjustments. Lots of grass area around each site with picnic table. Owners are very nice and helpful. This campground is exactly like the pictures shown on the website. If you like to fish, the White River is the place. The water level is dependent on how many generator spillways are open so the depth of the river can vary drastically. No problem with pets and there is a number of nice large grassy areas to exercise your furry kids. River sites are not right on the edge of the river but close enough for a short stroll. Wouldn’t want the sites to close to the river with the present rains we have been having this year. There are a few draw backs. No Cable TV and the local channels are as non existent so you need your Satellite if you wish to watch TV. Wi-Fi is weak on the outer sites. Owner has been working to improve the signal. My Sprint worked great on 1x, so the Wi-Fi was not a problem. For me the sewer was placed to far back to use, unless you have a long sewer hose or your sewer connection is at the back of your RV. If you sleep lightly you might be disturbed by the frogs. I enjoyed them but did not know what it was at first. If you like to fish this is a great place to spend some time. The whole area around Cotter is high on fishing. It is also very pretty in the mornings with a dense fog rolling through the park. Temperature got up to about 91 during the day. Electric was solid 120V and water pressure was about 41psi. I liked this campground and would go back again sometime.
This is a nice campground. Sites are gravel but level. No trees or shade around the sites. Area is clean. Has a large dog run for our 4 legged kids. Staff was nice. Sites are close and the sewer and water for the site beside me was right at my door when I stepped out. This is my main concern and why I did not give a better rating. Two Casinos are close by and there is a shuttle to one if you have them call and runs up till 10:30 pm. Casino's have large parking lots so it is easy to drive. I would stay here again if I were in the area.
This campground is old and appears to have been a KOA. It has a number of long time residents and they have the sites that are along the sides in the trees and shade. All sites are gravel, not level but close enough. Pool is nice, laundry is nice, restrooms are nice. Trash pickup along each site every morning. Employees were nice. We stayed here over the Memorial Day Weekend. The shore power is modified to handle 50 amp units but were configured so I could not use my surge suppressor for the 30 amp connection. Water faucets are close to the ground so I had to rework how I use my regulator and water filter. There are two faucets for each site, never saw another CG that was made this way. Sewer was good, no problems. This is not a pretty campground but is was doable. We looked around at other campgrounds in the area, Hoover Stadium and Oak Mountain SP and were glad we stayed here. Picnic tables were very old and warped. This could be a nice campground if they made a number of minor improvements. Have a nice pavilion by the main office. Kids in the area liked the pool.
This is a nice campground. Roads & sites are paved with asphalt. Sites are very long so RV size is no problem and a lot of room between site. Only a few pull through sites which would not hold a large RV. Most of the sites are back-in and entering from the road is a sharp turn. We stayed in site 40 which is not on the lake shore but is really a nice site. TV reception is reasonable. There is a dump station at the entrance. Shower, laundry and dumpster near the entrance. Restrooms on one side of the campground circle. There should be another restroom and showers for the 60 sites. There are a couple of parking areas and a boat ramp. I would have given this a better rating if the there were another restroom and shower. I would stay here again.
Nice campground. Sites are gravel with grass on the side and concrete patio area with bench. The sites are very tight. We stayed in 110 which is a pull through with enough room. Shore power and water was not in the middle of the site so I had to pull a little farther through the site to connect water. Sewer is in the back so you may need a long sewer hose. There is no dog run. Can't get to the creek banks without walking through a campsite. Restrooms and washer room are nice an clean. Attendant was nice but busy. Church service was held on Sunday in an out door pavilion by a young lady from Smokey Mountain Ministries. There is also a cowboy church that is in the area also for church services. Info is in the laundry room. Overall this is not a bad place to stay. We would stay here again.
This is a nice clean park. No grass, trees are young, provide no shade. Sites are level. Electric is good. Water is good, hard to connect in my site, it is not above ground like most sites and can not use a regulator. Tested the pressure and is at about 50lbs. Host commented that the pressure is regulated at 55lbs and a regulator is not required. I had no problems except having to reach down into a PVC pipe to make water connection. Host is very considerate. When having a problem with the water he offered to help make the connection. Strong incentive to not let your pet use the area in the park and on the trees and Shrubs. Areas around the park are OK to take your pet. There is no pool or other things for children to do. There is no Good Sams or other discounts other than a 10% senior discount. Two nights total $43.20. I would stay here again.
This campground is good and bad. The host are nice and friendly. The campground is large. Some sites are great. A few sites are concrete pad with wrought iron patio furniture on a concrete area at the site, others are gravel with only water, electric and sewer and the ones further back are gravel with water electric only. Has miniature golf course, fishing, pool and playground. Part of the park roads are asphalt, pea gravel and chico stone. Would be nicer if all the roads were paved. WiFi is good up by the office, but poor to none in the back sites. Water at my site did not taste good. We drank bottled water. Cable TV was great in our site. We have stayed at a number of KOA’s and this could be a great camp ground if the sites were improved overall. We would stay here again but it is not one of our favorites.
This campground was slightly hit by a tornado. Damaged some trees, but did not cause a problem getting around the campground. This is a small campground. Restrooms were clean. Persons at reservation office were nice but not really friendly. Camp host was nice, friendly and efficient. Sites are pretty close to each other but no problem with extending slides. This is not my favorite campground but is good for a few days to run around Memphis. I would stay here again.
This is a great park. They take the Golden Passport. Sites are concrete. Lots of room around the sites. Very quite. Host are very nice, talked to Bobbie. Water is good. They do not have cable, WiFi, or sewer. Lots of trees so depending on the site you get you may or may not be able to get satellite. The Arkansas River runs on the northeast side of the park. Has a boat launch ramp. I love the wide open areas around the campsites. I will stay here again anytime I stay in the Little Rock area. This campground would be rated a 10 if it had sewer, WiFi and cable.
This is a nice large campground. It is clean and they have many hookup selections. We took the one with no dump. No trees and only a little grass but if you have been around that area you would understand. I would have no problem staying there again.
I was looking forward to stay in this campground. I was raised around Casper and from the website I thought this would be a great campsite. When I pulled in to the campgrounds and saw the conditions I did not stop. There were campers that looked like they had been there for years. Dogs were out on a tether and not supervised. Junk cars and they had a posting at the entrance that I had to stop and read the regulations. I would not stay here for any reason.
The campground was nice but not as good as shown on the website. Had no problem with the grounds. They were clean, Restrooms and showers were clean. Stayed 4 days. Would probably look for a less expensive campground and closer to Yellowstone if I were to go to Jackson, Wyoming, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park.
This is a nice clean campground. I think the entire place is setup as a resort. There are no trees but the sites are long concrete and gravel around the area. The restaurant is nice and the people were very friendly. I had a converter problem and one of the guys at the campground help me acquire an adapter so I could plug in my battery charger. This is not a child tolerant campground. It is more for older adults. They allow dogs. I would stay here again if I was traveling through.
