This is our 2nd stay here. The people are so nice, and the sites are pretty big. I would say that 80% of the sites are very level, and the others are nothing that is too bad. The campground is VERY well kept, all the lawns mowed, never see a paper or anything on the ground. We are coming again at the end of June for another weekend, and probably again before the end of the season! Actually, we are seriously thinking of getting a seasonal site here for next year!! You won't go wrong staying at the Copake KOA!!! On the border of Connecticut & Massachusetts in New York, so lots to do in the area!

The 2nd time that we have stayed here. We love it. Going back 2 more times this season. Nice sites, clean baths. The only reason I did not give a higher rating is because they charge a $5 "resort fee" and being it was early in the season they did not have the free pancakes on the weekends, no wine tasting, and no movies under the stars! Still lots to do if you wanted, but I feel that the fee should have been waived being that they didn't have all the perks that you should have got. Still a great CG and looking forward to going back this year!!!

Nice CG, clean good size sites. Big campstore that has almost anything you would need if you forgot something. They have a few tent sites along a pond on site that look very nice if your in a tent. They even have a wine store that has NY wine tasting on weekends. This is not far from our house so we will be back for quick weekend getaways!

We did not like Black Bear Campground. We stayed 3 nights and will not go back. They advertize that there are no steep grades, but you have to go up a big hill to get to the sites then drive down another to get back to the street. They really need to trim back some tree limbs here too!! Very tight for a 35.' I would not want to have anything bigger here! No, activities for campers, just an ice cream social one night. We even stayed Memorial Day weekend and figured they would have some things to do. Overall very disappointing!!

The CG was awesome! As stated in other reviews, the sites are a bit tight, but very doable, and level. The owners were very helpful in places off the beaten path. Just ask them! Very centrally located in the Amish Country. If you want a clean, quiet, affordable site: Beacon Hill is the place for you! A working Amish farm located right across the street. (The smells of a working farm!) Also, this is an adult only (16 and older) CG. We stayed 4 nights and would come back!
