This is an RV camping area for the Royal River Casino. You can't beat the price. We have stayed here 3 times in the last 2 years. My only complaint is there is no shade. The RV area is paved so you are level. The spaces are very wide and can accommodate large bus rigs with slides and still have room. The swimming pool, showers, and bathrooms are available and are included in the price to use in the hotel which is connected to the casino. There is a dump/water station in the RV area. The wireless Internet worked well and you get a lot of channels with their cable TV. There is security that comes around all hours to check on the RV area so you feel secure and don't need to worry about leaving your RV for any length of time. The casino has a restaurant and snack bar. They have added a lot of new machines in the casino. We will stay here again if in the area.
We stayed at this campground because of it's location to everywhere we wanted to go. Thinking it was out of the "big" city was our mistake. The campground is off a main hwy in town behind a auto repair business and is kind of hard to find if you don't know where it is. The owners are very friendly and kind. Most of the RVs here are permanent residents with older travel trailers and work in the area. I marked they accommodate big rigs (40' plus) but there are very few of these sites and seemed to be taken by permanent residents. Our 5th wheel is 35' with another 2-3' for a motorcycle rack on the back and we have 3 slides. They put us next to a "creek" to help accommodate us but it was still a squeeze to get in. With another RV next to us our front door nearly hits our neighbor's slide-out. The pet area has a terrible smell from over use of a small area. The sites are gravel but fairly level. We had little to no shade. We won't be staying here next time we visit Seattle.
We have stayed at this campground 2 times in the last 2 years. The owners are friendly and try to be accommodating. Our second stay was not as enjoyable as our first. It maybe because summer had not ended yet. Overall it is a fair campground but your are squeezed together when it's crowded. Half of the sites are shaded and the others have full sun. We are RV full-timers and maybe this isn't the right place fore us anymore. There was too much noise with adults & children running around through our campsite showing no respect. One camper next to us would let their large dogs relieve themselves in or on our site and it smelled badly. Informed the owners of this but I don't think they were forced to leave. We ended up moving to the other full sun sites in order to get away from the sardine feeling and ended up in the middle of a redneck family reunion. The wireless internet was a joke unless you were parked next to the office. Cable TV worked great. The washer and dryer's are on the old side and do not clean or dry your clothes well so we ended up using the local laundromat in town. The camp location is close to some tourist attractions but most of them are a good 45min to 1 hr away. We full time RV and this place is more for families with young children. Next time we are in this area we are going to stay at another campground. One more note, we did not pay the $30 per night but a monthly rate which was discounted.
