The park has come a long way since Katrina. The staff is friendly . They sprayed for mosquitoes every night. It will be good when they get the fishing pier built back.
The sites are close . They need to fill in some of the ruts people make when trying to back in to a sight. Price was due to coast to coast membership. They made us check out by 10am due to it being a members weekend. Not the best but not the worst I have stayed at.
Good park and beach area is very nice. The spot I was in was sandy but secluded by shubbery in the back and on both sides. I will camp here again if in the area.
Good interior roads. Staff very friendly we paid coast-to-coast plus extra for cable and there is a charge for electric but still was a good price . The trolley stops here
This park takes in a lot of money and very little is put back into it. A little bit of rain makes it sloppy. Restrooms were dirty and in need of upgrade. This could be a nice park with the right people running it.
We stayed here this past week for four days. The owners were very nice. It rained saturday but the water ran off and it was not sloppy. We caught a few fish. We will go back again.
We camped here over New Years and really enjoyed it. only problem was we got to the park after dark and had alittle trouble finding a 40 ft. site until we saw the sign for area 5. I am glad that we ended up in area 5 as I like this area better than the others. Callaway Gardens is very nice as was Warm Springs.
