We stayed for about 3 weeks and I loved it there. They keep the park clean and the grass is cut every Friday morning. Another plus the city came through once a week and sprayed for bugs which as everyone knows south Louisiana has a lot of bugs! The pool was fairly clean a few leaves in it but there are trees around so that's to be expected. They had a few items in their store if you didn't want to drive all the way to the store. Wal-Mart is about 6 miles. We would stay here again I hated to leave.

This is the second time we have stayed in this park, and we feel very welcome every time we come here. I don't know why one person posted such a harsh comment on the park, but the only negative is that the spots are a little close. Other than that they keep the park clean and help you anytime you need anything. Lisa and family is very accommodating. It does get a little messy when it rains, but there's not much you can do about mother nature. It is a safe place and there is a Walmart is about 2-3 miles away.

We camped here on March 14th 2008 overnight only. The owner had the water turned off because of the winter, and also because there was no one else staying there. We stayed there because we were just so tired. Other than there not being any water the park is very clean and level. Right off the interstate but was quiet and we felt safe.

I will start with the positve's: The area is pretty and has nice shaded spots. Wal-mart is about 20 minutes away and the town has a store but get there before 7pm! The park has new owners and they are doing a lot of construction and the noise is loud and annoying, that's why the score of 7. The owners of the park however are friendly and the place is kept very clean. We would stay again if in the area. Note: Do not go by what's on their web site about the spa and etc. They are still in the process of building all of that.

We stayed here while my husband was in town for work. We chose this park because of the dog run area they have. The fenced in area that you can let your dogs run is great. That is about the only plus that I can say about this park. The price for a months stay is $500 a month. You have very basic cable channels, with not very good reception. The wifi connection is bad, you don't stay connected long. When it rains it becomes a big mud hole. The sites are really close and you can't let your awning out unless you touch the trailer next to you. The owners were friendly.

Ok, I will start with the bad first: only bad thing that I didn't really like was the water at this park, it smelled and had alot of iron in the water. If you stay here buy some Iron Out for you sinks and your white laundry, etc. The staff was OK: not really friendly and not really unfriendly. Some sites do have shade. The small fishing pond was nice to have. They pick up your garbage every morning if you leave it out at your site. If you stay monthly then you do have to mow your lawn. All in all not a really bad place to stay if you can handle the water. Walmart is close by also.

We liked this park. t is right off of I-10. The only downfall was it wasn't really close to town. Other than that, it was a nice clean park. They are adding more spots as we speak. The park has paved roads with grave sites and grass. Each site has a picnic table also. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
