Great views and a large amount of sites. Some on the mountain view side need some serious leveling. Ours did. Stayed 2 weeks. Boone is a 15-20 minute drive away; Grandfather Mountain 10 minutes. Lots to do in area. Internet was only OK if you sat outside. Cable was good. If you want to use your dish bring a good anchor. Wind can be awesome. Will stay again next year. Stayed 2 weeks. Wasn't impressed with our site as it had a huge stump about 2 inches above ground which made setting up troublesome. We were upset that there were many open sites down by the pond which were much nicer but were told they were reserved for larger units. Ours is a 30', and we had reserved 2 weeks earlier. Other than that, this is a good park. Road is rough, and the better sites have no shade. Will stay there next year but only if we get a better site. Other parks were nicer, but also much pricier.

Stayed here from Jan through March. Rate reflects monthly rate. People here are very friendly and the office staff makes sure your stay will be good. Pool is large and heated. Level, paved lots. Park is constantly being keep clean and groomed. Cable is Direct TV. Has a lake, but only to view or fishing. WI-FI is like most parks, sometimes great, sometimes not so great, or not at all. Have reservation for next year already.

Alright park. Quiet and easy pull through. Thought the PA price was high. Especially since they didn't have the cable TV as advertised, and only a few stations over the air. Said cable dropped them without notice. Would stay as an overnight stop again.

Very nice people running this camp. Stayed overnight and parked right behind office with full hook ups and cable TV. Would stay again. Price reflects PA rates.

Campground is basically shut down for the winter months. Still it is a great overnight stop on the way to Florida. Electric only, no water. Price is for Passport America.

We loved this place and made a lot of friends here, including the owners and staff. We had problems with our refrigerator, had to replace it. Owners and staff went out of their way to help us. Very scenic location on Johnson Creek. Quiet, clean and very social park. Rate reflects a monthly rate. They have a 9:00 coffee hour at club house and many planned activities. We will return again.

The park itself was nice enough and the manager friendly. However, previous reviews didn't emphasis the noise from the cement factory enough. It sounded like a fork truck backing up, and beeping right outside our window, all night long. This goes on 24/7 with expressway and train noise also. If you like noise, you will love it. We couldn't leave fast enough. Never again.
