This park is a little off the freeway but rewards you with trees and QUIET! There are level concrete sites, easy in and out even for our 40 ft MH and tow, a nice pool and a large dog play area. It's in a rural area which is nice too. Definitely worth the drive off the freeway. Price reflects Good Sam discount. We will definitely come here again. Great overnight stop.

This is a big wide open campground. It definitely could use a few trees to help with the sun. Aside from that, we really liked the park. We used our own wifi and Verizon was good here. We liked the openness of the park & they put the rigs apart from one another since it wasn't too full, which was nice. The 2 pools were nice & the sites were concrete & level. Grass between the sites was cared for & the place was very neat. Our dog gave it a 5 star rating, as he loved the fishing pond for swimming, which was a ways from the RV park. The staff was very helpful & friendly. Loved the ponies at the entrance. Some train noise but not overnight. We'd definitely stay here again.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. We stayed here on our way out of Texas in May & came back again on our way in. The staff is friendly & we like the feel of this "mom and pop" campground. We get the dog run site each time and we & our dog love having a place to let him run right at the rig. The owners try to keep the place looking good & it's a great location right off the freeway. There's some airport noise during the day but not at night. And a little freeway noise but it's really not bad overnight. We'd stay here again. It's very comfortable and close to everything in Amarillo.

The owners of this park try to keep it very neat. It's gravel sites but level with a picnic table and also a stand for a grill, which is nice. There is some noise from the road but overnight it's pretty quiet. There is a trail right outside the gate which is great for walking the dog. The location for sightseeing is perfect with Manitou Springs right up the road and Old Colorado City right down the street. Lots of restaurants & grocery stores very close too. This park is nothing fancy but it's a good location and clean. There are some permanent rigs but they are on the perimeter for the most part. We have a 40 ft & could get in easily. I'd suggest unhooking the tow before pulling in, as it's just easier.

Nightly rate includes $9 daily use fee. This is a very quiet park with lots of room between the sites. There are concrete level pads and great hookups. Lots of room to walk the dog in the RV area and lots of trails too. This park has a lot of amenities including lake swimming and boating. Staff is very helpful and keeps the site very clean and neat. We spent a very peaceful week here and will return.

Staff was friendly. VERY easy in and out which is great for an overnight place. That really seems to be all this campground is about. Not much at the park or in town, but it served it's purpose as a place to stay for one night. Lots of room to walk the dog, as the park is very open. Sites were level and no problem with the hookups. We'd stay here again if we were passing through this area. Not much other choice in the area.

Price reflects KOA Card discount. Staff was friendly and helpful. As others have said this is a large gravel lot with some grass between sites but no trees. You might as well be in the median on I-80 for all the noise. But it's the only campground in Laramie, and that's why we carry ear plugs for sleeping. The sites are level and easy for big rigs to get in and out. Plenty of room to walk the dog, which is important to us and they even had a small off leash dog park, which was nice. The game room was fun. Water pressure is definitely high, so use a regulator. Nothing fancy but it served its purpose.

This place worked out great for us. We had a back in site but because no one was behind us when we arrived, we could pull through. As said before, there is no Verizon cell service unless you are outside on the patio by the office. We have a Verizon air card and were not able to use it, but their Wi-Fi was great! We were also located near the office, so this is probably why it was so strong. Also $1 for 24 hours is very reasonable. There is a little noise off Hwy 34 but at night it's not bad. The campground was extremely quiet otherwise. They try hard to keep the dust down and the staff is helpful and friendly. It's 11 miles from I-25 but okay for what we wanted to do. It's right on the road going to Estes Park & Rocky Mtn Natl Park. We were able to get satellite even though there were trees. Just a lucky spot. Site was gravel but level, and interior roads are wide enough for our big rig. Nice trail in the back for dog walking and very dog friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but would ask to stay in the same space.

Price reflects Good Sam Discount. Friendly staff. Nice laundry facilities, although I didn't use them. Gravel site that was level with picnic table. Good overnight spot. Near freeway but didn't hear it until early morning. Train nearby but also was not an issue. Easy on and off I-80 and no need to unhook tow since space was long enough. Good area on the frontage road to walk the dog. We'd stay here again for an overnight.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We changed our reservation by a day a week before we arrived, and they gladly refunded the amount. This campground is VERY quiet but no real amenities, but it works well as a home base for visiting Reno. Reasonably close to Hwy 395 to get downtown and around the city. Our site was very wide with lots of room for our tow car. The only issue was backing in, as it was steep. We could physically do it, but with a 40 ft rig our tow bar was really scraping the ground. It took quite a bit of maneuvering to get in without hurting our tow bar. Once in, we were able to level the rig. The site was gravel but neat. Walking the dog was easy by going outside the campground.

A well kept park close to Solvang. Easy entrance and exit for a big rig. Staff is very friendly. They still had our records from years ago, which was nice. Good areas to walk the dog.

We LOVE this campground and have been here many times and will return again. Yes, it's dirt and gravel, but it is the most gorgeous setting in the pines. We had a level and large site with full hookups and plenty of room for our tow and outdoor seating. We were able to get satellite as we were not right under the trees but did get shade in the afternoon from the tall pines. I love walking my dog here. Plenty of room & the fairgrounds are open to the public too. VERY peace and quiet & good access to Hwy 20. Roads are dirt and gravel but maintained. We stayed a week & wish we could have stayed longer. Staff in the office was helpful and friendly. It's not fancy but very peaceful and a great price.

Price reflects Good Sam Discount. Nicely kept park. Our site had a special spot for the tow, which was nice. My only complaint was the approach to our site. We are a 40 ft rig and we were in the 1st row, 2nd spot, so it was a tight turn right to make the 1st row then a quick tight turn left. Almost impossible and for someone who isn't a great driver, it would have been. Luckily, my husband is great! Location was good for visiting friends in Rocklin. Site was shaded and level and quiet. Easy access to downtown Aurora & I-80.

Price reflects senior discount. This was a great place as home base for visiting the Napa Valley. There was a lot of street work on Imola Ave. but the detours were okay even with our big rig. The area is extremely quiet and we loved walking the dog here as it felt like the country, yet we were close to town. Staff was very helpful at check in. Sites were gravel and dirt but level. Verizon cell & air card worked well. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here for 3 nites to visit San Francisco. We would definitely do it again. The location is fabulous, as it's close to BART and the town has restaurants, grocery store and easy access to freeway. Their directions to the park are good, but address is hard to find online. It's 2399 E 14th St San Leandro, CA. We were concerned about how easy it would be to get into the spot with our 40 ft RV, but they gave us a large, level back in spot with plenty of room for the car and our 4 slides. Plenty of street width to back in easily. We did unhook our tow on the street, but could have unhooked in the park. Office person was very helpful & had someone go to the space before us to be sure it was okay. Tenants in park were friendly. My only issue was having to walk the dog on the street outside the park but then this is an in town RV park, so it was expected. We would definitely come back again, as it was the perfect spot to park to sightsee San Francisco and the price was one of the least expensive parks in all of California.

A beautiful park with plenty of amenities. Even though our site was gravel, it was immaculate and level. Easy park to navigate in a big rig and the dog run was a nice touch, but I don't like the idea of having to pay $3 a day for my dog. This always is a sore subject with me. Staff in office was helpful. Pool area and spa looked beautiful. Lovely setting and our site had a view of the winery nearby.

Our site was easy to get in but hard to get out, as we were in the center section right at the bend of a corner. Even though we had a pull through, had the person across from us not left that morning, we would have had to back out. Site was close to our neighbor, but level and park was quiet. Close to Pismo Beach and easy access to 101 for sightseeing. Park was neat and clean.

We stayed in this park several years ago and after seeing some bad reviews we wondered if there were changes. Well, we still found a nice RV park. We used this as a home base for the Reagan Library and the Gibbons Conservation Center. We had a very nice pull through in the back circle. Lots of room to walk the dog, which is important to us. The spot was level, but not paved & we had good Verizon service for our cell & air card. We think this is a great park and when we lived in S. California we used it many times for overnight stays. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.

Price reflects a Good Sam Discount. Streets were wide for backing in. Very quiet park except for a bit of freeway noise. Nice areas to walk the dog. Easy access to freeway & all Orange County attractions. Free muffins, coffee, and newspaper in the morning. Very friendly efficient staff. Nice level concrete pads with picnic table. We were very comfortable here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Price reflects weekly rate. The park also gave us a Good Sam Discount for the additional 3 nights we stayed beyond the week. This park is beautifully maintained. Someone is always working on the landscaping. Park is quiet. Other San Diego parks are on the freeway, this one is not. You will drive through an industrial area to get here but once in the park, you don't know it's there. Easy access to freeway for getting to the mountains or San Diego. Extremely friendly staff. Quite a few people are here for the summer but sites are kept up. Great Verizon cell & air card connection. We would definitely stay here again.

Price reflects Passport America discount. This park is a bit out of the way if you are visiting Palm Springs, Palm Desert etc. But we drove in each day and it was doable. The park was pretty deserted since we were there in June so it was extremely quiet. The office staff was helpful, pleasant and efficient. The park looks okay--typical desert landscaping, which isn't too much. There is a family pool and an adult pool, which is nice, and our dog loved the dog park. Level spaces all back in. Verizon air card & cell were excellent. It was worth the Passport America price of $25 but the regular price of $50 a day out of season would have been WAY too much.

Price is Passport America. Park provided Passport America discount and Good Sam discount for additional days, which was very nice. The park is clean and looks like a resort. Beautiful pool, good little restaurant for breakfast, store and several dog parks. Sites are level & Verizon air card and cell were great. We had to stay longer due to a family emergency and the office was very helpful. This resort is truly a resort and managed like one. We've stayed here before and will definitely be back.

Price reflects Good Sam Discount. We arrived late & our paperwork was left at the office. Then the owner came over later to see if we had any questions. The owners are very helpful and polite. The park is very neat although a lot of stone, as expected for a desert park. VERY quiet and easy ride to the dam and grocery shopping. Downtown is close and quaint too. There's no grass for the dog, but there were plenty of places to walk him without restrictions. We would definitely stay here again as it was easy in and out.

First of all, this is a trailer park and it is a bit of a run down trailer park. If you don't want to stay in a trailer park, then don't come here. It's not the nicest environment but the staff is friendly and helpful and we found the people living here to be nice also. Our space was big enough for our long rig & tow unhooked. On the con side...we have a 40 ft motorhome and tow and someone should have told us to unhook before coming into the narrow turn entry down a steep hill. How my husband made this turn, I still don't know. I made a point of telling the staff that they should tell people this ahead of time. Getting out of the park wasn't bad but we didn't hook up until after we exited. A tenant did have to move her vehicle for us to turn the corner on exiting but she was very nice about it and was coming outside before I even went to her door. If you have a large rig and don't really know how to maneuver it, don't come here. Could not get satellite because of the trees. Pros..VERY quiet, great Verizon data and cell service, great location as it's close to the Y. Great price for the area. I felt uncomfortable here at 1st but it was better the longer we stayed. We stayed 5 nites. Not a lot of places to walk the dog but it was okay.

Price reflects Coast to Coast GNP plus $3 extra for 50 amp. Park was good for the low price but a bit dusty and all gravel. Easy in and out, which is always appreciated with a big rig. We would not have been able to leave our tow hooked up but since we stayed several days this wasn't an issue. There is a picnic table. Walked the dog on the back edge of the property and this was okay. There is a very faint noise of I-40 but not bad at all. Camping World is just down the street which is nice, as well as Freightliner. Staff was friendly and helpful and the pool area was clean. Easy access to downtown and local activities. We would stay here again.

Price reflects Good Sam Discount. We wanted to see Meteor Crater again and this was a great stop. The park is maintained beautifully even though it is gravel roads and colored pea gravel between the sites. There are some trees and the spaces have some room between them. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a rec room with a TV and sofa, as well as two off leash "dog park" fenced in areas, as well as a few patches of grass. There's a security gate which is locked overnight which is nice, as it's a pretty desolate area, although right off I-40. There is an emergency exit. There's also a gas station and convenience store where you check in. If you're passing through and need a place to stay, this one is very nice for the area. Winslow isn't too far away and it's fun to "Stand on the Corner in Winslow Arizona" at the park for pictures. We also ate at Casa Blanca in Winslow and the food was great. We'd definitely stay here again.

Rate reflects Good Sam. Not a fancy park but had all we needed. Looked like some full time people are here but spaces are neat with grass and trees. We don't have kids but there is a pool and playground. Office is VERY friendly. Roads are gravel but in good shape. We had a dog site, which was wonderful... a fenced in small yard with grass and a picnic table under cover. Our dog LOVED it! The whole park is dog friendly with lots of room for walking. Easy pull thru site and about a block from I-40, so barely some road noise. We would definitely stay here again overnight or for several days as we did this time. We will stop here on our return trip.

Price reflects Good Sam. We had reservations here for 2 nights but had to stay a 3rd due to car trouble. Office was friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy here but long level site, gravel drives in good condition and quiet, as it's away from the freeway. Easy access from I-20. Some long term residents but very neat tenants. Dog friendly and lots of room to walk the dog. High water pressure so use a regulator. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area. Just what we needed.

This is one of the most well kept parks we've been in. Easy in and out and the office was very helpful and friendly. Level concrete pads with easy pull-throughs. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Rate reflects Passport America. Stopped here overnight and it was an easy pull through and only 2 hours from home. Office was very helpful and friendly. Yes, there is an odor in Luling, but it was not present the night we were there. This park is close to the freeway but far enough away that there is no noise. It's an easy overnight stay with plenty of room to walk the dog. We'd definitely stay here again.

GREAT pull throughs. Lots of room to maneuver. Plenty of room up front to walk your dog. The person checking us in was very friendly and helpful. I have never been to a park with such friendly office staff, from the person taking our reservation to the person checking us in to the person guiding us to our site. Nice clean park with plenty of room for walking the dog in an open area. Quiet park although on the frontage road of I-59. Good location into town since it's close to the loop. It was rainy but not muddy. We paid Good Sam price. Did not give it a 10 since it wasn't a true RV Resort but we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful park that is mostly privately owned sites which can be rented by the nite. We had a back in. It was a little hard to get in due to the palm trees on the opposite side of the road. We didn't want them scratching the rig but the person taking us to our site, cut the branches immediately to accommodate us, which was nice. Beach access is at the back of the park by boardwalk. Office staff was friendly & helpful (they gave us a dog biscuit for the dog and helped find a windshield repair person) and pretty sites with nice landscaping. My only negative is there is no place for the dog to relieve himself except to go to the beach which is quite a long walk to the back of the park then over the boardwalk. Empty non-sold sites cannot be used since there are small burrs everywhere which were painful to the dog and since our site was all rock and we couldn't use grass of the owned sites, it was not convenient at all with the dog. I loved the park but this will keep me from coming back unless I can get a site with grass that can be used. Just way too inconvenient. Good location to Port Aranasas and Corpus Christi but for $46 a nite, I want to be able to walk my dog and not be stressed over this.

This campground definitely has long term tenants but there's not much choice in this area. The campground is clean but older and very quiet, so this worked for us. The owner was very helpful as we were coming in on Christmas day and she wasn't going to be there. We paid ahead of time by credit card and she told us which site was ours with a return call the day before our arrival. Easy to find off 77. We went in the 1st entrance which worked out well for our site. The 2nd entrance is closer to the office but there are definitely low wires, as mentioned in a previous review. I don't think we would have cleared them, so we backed out of our pull through to go around them when we left...no big deal. Just use the 1st entrance from Hwy 77 and hang an immediate right in the park. This will lead you to the office too. Great location for going to King Ranch and into town. It served our purpose well and the price was very reasonable for full hook ups and cable TV. We stayed 2 nites and would go here again if we were in the area.

We got here on a VERY busy weekend with the festival in town. We've stayed before, and even though they are higher priced, it is a convenient location to St. Charles, which is a charming community, and not a bad drive into St. Louis. The spaces are all concrete. We had a back in, and had plenty of room for our 40 ft RV plus tow car and a decent space between sites that was well trimmed grass. The park is very clean and quiet and right on the Katy Trail for hiking, biking and dog walking. Our price was a bit lower due to their affiliation with Coast to Coast. Our cell and Verizon air card worked well here. We would definitely stay here again.

Price was with Good Sam discount. Family owned and the people really try to keep the place up. The woman in the office was extremely helpful and friendly. There are some longer term tenants but their sites are well kept. The 50 amp is closer to the road, which was quiet overnight but got a little busy in the morning. Park is close to the freeway but not within the noise corridor of the freeway. Some sites have grass and they are much nicer, but ours was just a gravel drive through area because we wanted 50 amps. We did have nice shade in the afternoon and the site was extremely wide. I would stay here again if staying in the Paducah area, but we don't like to sit outside, so the gravel doesn't matter. If you prefer grass, ask for it, but it won't be 50 amp. Easy in and out. My Verizon cell and air card worked well.

Really liked this park. It was clean and well maintained. Room to walk the dog, sites were level and staff was friendly. It was nice to be close to Wisconsin Dells but not in the noisy craziness of it all. They seem to discourage kids by saying anyone under 18 must be with an adult at all times. Fine with us, especially since there are so many other family friendly parks in the area. Wal-Mart is down the street which was convenient for stocking up. We would definitely come here again and stay longer.

If there are new owners they haven't done anything to improve the place. It still looks very run down. We were given a site that was really too small as our tow could not fit in front or in back without being partly in the street and there was no where else to park. We did get our 40 ft in but tight to get out if other tows are parked on the street. No one is ever around but a phone number is on the office door and the manager came when we called, as we had a reservation. We've only seen 1 other person although there are a lot of RV's here. Some seem to be permanent residents and others seem to use this as a vacation base but no one is here. The pool was dirty and the park is open to day use to use the pool, so a large group was here today. The location is good to Hannibal although south of the city. It's quiet and dog friendly but run down. We wouldn't stay here again.

Office was helpful and friendly and location is good to Springfield. They were very clear when I called for the reservation that they do not offer discounts. Quiet overnight but freeway gets busy in the morning and there is noise early. We were able to pull into our pull through with no problem but getting out was tight. Luckily, the person in front of us pulled out earlier and we could go through their site and then there was open space on the far side. This helped with the turn. Otherwise, we probably would have backed out because the turn was too tight. I agree with a previous reviewer that motorhomes need different consideration than 5th wheels for turning and this could have been tough for our 40 ft MH and tow. Good area to walk the dog and the site was level. We would probably stay here again due to the location but would ask for an end site, so pull out would be easy.

Definitely a family vacation campground. Pet friendly. I booked online and it was easy. Then after we got to our site and were there some time I realized we were given a 30 amp site and I had asked for 50. Pull through was narrow too. We ended up backing out instead of pulling through. I think they just put us in the wrong spot for our size rig. Office was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again. Easy in and out off freeway but quiet.

Rate reflects Coast to Coast membership. We arrived at 4:30 on a Sunday and no one was in the office, but a gentleman came up to us and said he was waiting for us and would escort us to the site. He left after we got there and could barely back in our 40 ft RV since there were cars and golf carts on the road. After quite a struggle we got in. Later we saw lots of pull thrus with lots of room. Sometimes this happens if you are Coast to Coast..you don't get the best spots. Lady in office answered our questions the following day but didn't offer any info on activities, amenities etc until we asked. Golf course was great. Most of the park is full time summer residents. Good Verizon cell & air card. No place to walk the dog near our site except on other sites. We'd stay again but confirm our location before getting there.

Extremely quiet park just outside the north gate to Lake Itasca State Park. Nothing fancy but grass between spaces which had room between them, full hookups and our 40 foot RV fit fine in the back-in space. We could get satellite which isn't always available up north with all the trees. Verizon cell & air card were good. Extremely nice people running the place. Lots of room to walk the dog and not be on top of other people. They came over the morning we left to thank us for staying there. I'd definitely come back if wanting access to the state park.

Price is Good Sam discount. The park looked great when we checked in but the area where the overnight people (we were staying 2 nites) were put was very rough. Part of the site wasn't level but we parked on the back end & were okay. No grass between spaces like in other areas. Looked like it might not be completed yet. We found a large area grass area to walk the dog by the trash dumpsters & did not find it crowded with contractors at all, although there are full time residents here in the nicer spots. Front desk was friendly & helpful. We'd stay here again. The location was good and it was very quiet.

Rate is Good Sam rate for pull through with full hook ups and 50 amps. Part of the hotel. The gal at registration was very welcoming. Offered the use of the pool & free towels and use of computers in the lobby as well as free Wi-Fi. Roads are gravel and just a bit muddy due to excessive rain in this area, but not bad. Pull throughs are long (ours was 90 feet), so it's great for an overnight & not unhooking. We'd stay here again for an overnight or even a few days if we had to be in the area.

Our nightly rate was Coast to Coast. Very helpful couple running the place. Our car battery died and the owner gave us a jump and loaned us his charger. EXTREMELY clean bathrooms and showers, which we used since we stayed several days with no sewer. Area to walk the dog and kids playground. Close to town for the RCMP musical & down the road from Head Smashed In. Very quiet campground. Wi-Fi is $3 a day but very fast at our site. Would definitely stay here again.

Strange set up in that there are 2 circles and you pull up on the circle, so all are "pull thrus". But it was fine for overnight before going into Canada. I found the older man in the office very friendly after a gruff start. Large area to walk the dog with grass, which was nice. All gravel so it was dusty. We got in early but the place was full by evening due to the location, I think. Our site was level & we had good Verizon cell & air card service but easy set up for satellite since no trees. Nothing special but we'd stay here again.

Spots were tight with cars/trucks in the driving lane. Hard to get our 40 ft backed in. Space was not really adequate for a 40 ft, but we managed. Roads were very muddy and pitted, although I did see them working to flatten them out. Not enough gravel, though. Wi-Fi was horrible. I couldn't even get it to work in the rec room right next to the office. Had to go to Starbucks in town. Quiet park, but not much area to walk the dog. Mosquitoes were terrible. We planned to stay again on a return through Edmonton, but opted for Walmart for the 1 nite. I'd plan my trip around this area next time.

We stayed here prior to a rally meeting at this location. Although on a major road it quiets down at night. Nice spacing between rigs and level. Lots of large gravel on roadway. We were way in the back and had great Wi-Fi in the rig. Gas station, small cafe and store at front of park. Kind of a mini truck stop. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Good Verizon cell service most of the time, but did get disconnected a couple times. A bit of a drive to Calgary, but this is about as close as you want to be. Also just a short drive to light rail into Calgary. Park was gated with key card. We'd stay again for sure.

Nice clean park and quiet, although freeway is close. A little tight between spaces but okay. We chose to back out instead of pulling through since the turn was tight. Good location to Sheridan. GREAT dog facilities as they had a fenced in off leash area up on the hill. My dog really enjoyed having a chance to run free. Level sites and good Verizon cell and air card from this location.

Nice clean park and wide aisles for backing in a big rig. Small amounts of grass between sites otherwise all is asphalt, which was nice. Easy access to Billings. Office was helpful and nice. The price seemed a bit high for no amenities besides a site. Also to walk the dog, we had a long walk from the back of the park, out to the street where he could be walked. I'd request a site closer to the road next time.

This park was nice and quiet, although a bit out of town from Butte. But it was worth the drive. Nice area to walk the dog and an easy pull through. Level site and Verizon cell and air card worked well. We stayed 3 nights and would return.

We paid Passport America for 1 night, and Good Sam for an additional 3. RV park needs work but the location is good for Cheyenne. Road is gravel and has some pot holes. Although sites are somewhat close, the office did not put anyone next to another rig while they had room. In 4 days, no one was next to us. Lots of area to walk the dog. Grass/weeds are between spaces and not maintained but not overgrown. Not fancy but it has full hookups and is a quiet park except for the freeway noise, which we couldn't hear over the wind for several days. (Just WY weather). Views of the bison herd from our RV was really nice. Lots of animal activities for kids, but it was "kid quiet." Food in the restaurant is very good. We'd stay again.

Price reflects Good Sam Discount. Older park but the family who owns it keeps it up. Staff was helpful & the woman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. No language problem as mentioned in a previous review. Watch the roof line of the rest rooms when pulling in. We could see it had been hit before and we barely missed it. Some long term tenants with older rigs. Walking the dog was outside the park on the trails. Okay since they are close. Location is wonderful. Blocks from Old Colorado Springs and close to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. Highway 24 can be heard but quieter at night. Across the street is Rudy's BBQ, which we love in Texas. Great to see it.

This is the best state campground we've ever stayed in. Lots of space and well done for big rigs. The campground host is meticulous in preparing the site by cleaning it and raking the gravel under the picnic table. Sites are all concrete and level and many with full hookups and 50 amp. Driving to our site and getting in the site was easy for our 40 ft. RV. It was a beautiful setting with bike paths everywhere. There is swimming at the lake, a short drive away. Not bad to get into Denver, less than 30 minutes. My Verizon air card was a little slow, but the Wi-Fi at the park was fast. I'd definitely recommend this park, and I know we'll be back. Price includes $9 daily fee.

Level sites with grass between sites. We requested a non-shade site as we wanted to use our satellite. Very accommodating personnel, and the young men working the office were well trained and very helpful. Good dog walking area at the front of the property with bags provided. There is noise from the freeway, but not too bad. We stayed 3 nites. Check out the Mongolian Grill buffet in town near Walmart. Excellent!

Pretty park and reasonably close to Omaha. Our site on Reserve America was supposed to be 50 feet and we could barely fit our 40 foot motorhome in it. So you might want to check this if you have a big rig. Our site did have 50 amp service but no water or sewer at the site. Pretty view of the lake and the park is very beautiful. Some train noise, but not bad. Shower was dirty and full of bugs, so we didn't use it. Price reflects campground price, but then $4 per day, per vehicle (RV & tow car) is added, so that's a bit pricey for just electric. But it's the state campground experience.

Great level sites and quiet park right near historic downtown Independence. Easy to get to tourist activities in the Kansas City area. Lots of grass for walking the dog and a storm shelter was available. Satellite service was good, as well as Verizon cell service and air card. There is a bit of train noise but it's at a distance, so it wasn't a problem. We would definitely stay here again if we wanted to visit Kansas City. We paid the Good Sam rate.

Stayed here on Coast to Coast. VERY friendly staff in office. Quiet park and so much room to walk the dog. Level sites and the staff is constantly working on the park. Location is great for the Salt Mine Tour in Hutchinson. We'd come here and stay longer next time.

Level sites, some in the open and some shady. We wanted open for satellite, and it was fine. Nothing fancy but close to the city and shopping. We were toward the back, so the noise from the TA truck stop was not an issue. The side road we were near, was busy during the day but quiet at night. Plenty of room to walk the dog, which was nice. We'd stay here again if visiting the city.

This was a good overnight stop. It is near Roy Roberts Lake, though, so I suppose it has some possibilities for water activities. There were quite a few construction workers staying here. The sign to the park is missing, so we entered the 2nd entrance by mistake. So we had to back in to our pull through site. No big deal as there was room, but could be better marked for the entrance. Plenty of room to walk the dog. We never saw the owner but she had given us our site number ahead of time when we called for a reservation. GREAT Verizon cell service here and my air card was extremely fast. Gravel sites are level with concrete small patio and table. Nothing fancy but okay amenities for an overnight. We'd stay again if traveling through this area.

Concrete level pull through sites. Could use a few more signs to get to the campground. We weren't sure if we were supposed to turn in where the hotel is but found it further down the road. Easy in and out and all pull throughs. Nothing fancy but the price is right and breakfast in the casino was included. Close to Vicksburg Battle Field Memorial and casinos. We only stayed overnight and it was a good location to the freeway yet quiet. Good areas to walk the dog. Staff was very friendly and helpful but we had to check out at the end of our stay since the campground uses the hotel's computer system. Good Verizon cell and internet connection.

Long drive off the freeway to get to anywhere and last few miles are very hilly and narrow but OK for big rigs. Road was just repaved, so that was good. We went here for all the activities but found out that many are only available on the weekend. Nice recreation room with adult lounge and nice pools. Check in staff not knowledgeable about campground. It would seem they had never even seen it. I asked about satellite reception & they looked at the map & pointed to the trees on the perimeter & said we'd be OK. We found the entire campground is forested. OK Verizon cell & Internet connection but not great. We stayed here on our Coast to Coast membership.

Clean, quiet campground out of the busy area of the Parkway, yet close enough. Would recommend not taking a site next to the road if you like to sleep late as morning traffic is busy, otherwise very peaceful and quiet. Price reflects Passport America, which they accepted for an entire week. Verizon cell and internet connection worked well here. Level gravel sites. The ducks walking around the park were pretty cute.

Good location to Louisville and distilleries. Can hear freeway but not too bad. Good cell and internet through Verizon. Good walking area for dogs in designated area. Level, good pull through gravel sites. We've stayed here twice now and would definitely come back.

Another GREAT Kentucky State Park! No trouble getting our 40 ft motorhome in, but some spaces are tight when parking a tow or vehicle pulling a trailer. Lots of trees and we were pleasantly surprised to find 50 amp service at our site when ReserveAmerica.com stated only 30amp was available. Good internet & cell phone connection through Verizon. Golf course was fun & priced right but did need a bit of work. Camp host went door to door to tell everyone of a severe storm approaching & where to seek shelter. There were activities for kids, too. We'd definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here twice in 30 days. Extremely well kept park and nice and quiet. Not far from freeway & signs to park are excellent. A bit of construction at the water plant but OK getting our 40 ft & tow through. Office people are helpful and friendly. Nice long pull-throughs for overnight stays. Fun area for antiques and Longaberger Homestead. Good Sam discount reflected in price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed here on Coast to Coast. Good location off the freeway but not noisy except for a train once in a while. Has good Verizon cell, Verizon Internet and DirecTV. Person in office was not knowledgable about if sites were clear for satellite or how to pull into the spaces. Turned out okay. Weekends have activities. Nice open spaces for walking the dog. I'd stay here again if passing through. Armstrong Space Museum is fun.

This place is full on the weekends and BUSY! Huge place with camping away from the lake day use, which is nice. Tons of amenities and the swim lake is fabulous. Expensive but worth the price if you think of the amenities. Good gravel and paved roads. Good Verizon internet, cell and DirecTV. They take you to your site which is good because it's easy to get lost. The campground is over 200 acres. Had a fun time and enjoyed sightseeing in the area.

Stayed here on Coast to Coast. Don't count on sewer as they are very few and always taken. We were told to take any site with no other instructions. After we got fully settled, we were told we weren't positioned in the site correctly. That was VERY annoying. However, the guy said to just stay there until he determined if it was going to get too crowded for the weekend. This is a nice park on the Mohican River. Our dog enjoyed the swim. Open sites for DirecTV. Easy in and out at dump station. They definitely need a separate gate for those staying here. We returned once to the park and had to wait over 20 minutes in line to get in: very frustrating.

Stayed here on Coast to Coast. You pick your own site on the left as you enter. Some utilities are at quite a distance and it looks like some require 3 to a pedestal which would not work. Barely got 30 amps but it worked. Good location to Shipshewana. Very dusty road coming in and that's where C2C parks. Good places to walk the dog along the entrance. Was able to get Verizon internet on my laptop, had good cell and DirecTV.

We stayed here one night heading east on I-80. Great location as it's right off the freeway. No noise overnight, which was good. Sites were gravel but level and long. We had plenty of room for our 40 ft RV and tow. Some trees and some open spaces. Walking the dog along the back tree line was nice. Office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We used Passport America for a 50amp/sewer site. Easy in and out for a big rig. Definitely would stay here again even for a few days to enjoy the area.

Nice level sites with enough room to enjoy outside. Check-in desk people are friendly and helpful. The place is busy on the weekends with lots of people from outside the campground using the tubing/canoeing facilities, but it's up front, so the campground isn't affected. We had site 10 which was at the turn of the road and had LOTS of room. The pool is a nice addition from when we stayed here in 2008. Showers are pay showers but every site has sewer, so we didn't need them. A fun place to stay for families and adults.

Gentleman in office was very friendly. He told us they were new owners/managers. He put us in one site and before we were fully set up, said there was a problem with someone else booking the site later in the week (we were here for 7 nights). I told him if we needed to move, NOW was the time before we were fully set up. We were told to stay and he'd work it out. After we got back from dinner, he then told us we had to move. Poor planning and since we were staying for a week I felt we should have had some consideration. Aside from this, things were good. Campground is spotless, including the bathrooms. Showers are large. The owners/managers are always working on the property to keep it up. The pull through sites with 50 amp are EXTREMELY close. We have a 40 ft motorhome with 4 slides and were inches away from the RV next to us. Had I known, I would have chosen a back in 30 amp to have a little more space and will do this if we are in the area next time. Good thing no one was next to us when we pulled in, as the turn radius was tough. The good thing is that each RV is turned in the opposite direction, so there is better privacy this way, but no outdoor space to speak of if you are parked next to a long RV. GREAT location for Dubuque and even Galena.

We loved this park. It was very small and very well maintained. Aside from amenities at the site (50amp full hook ups) there really isn't anything else here, though. But it's a good stop over for a visit to the Giant Tree House. The tour was FABULOUS and great for kids BTW, and we highly recommend it for adults too. It was very quiet and peaceful setting.

We stayed here on Coast to Coast and were pleased to have full hookups and 50 amp which some don't provide to visitors. It poured for days while we were here and it was extremely muddy. Some interior roads are not in good condition and dirt, but as soon as the rain stopped they were grading them. They broke a water fixture of ours and made a point of telling us, replacing it and then following up to be sure we were okay with the replacement. Good location to Des Moines and West Des Moines.

This park has nice level, paved sites with 50amp & sewer. Has good cell service and my mobile card worked well for my laptop (Verizon). Lots of trees, so we asked for a site where we could get satellite and still had shade. Has well kept grounds, remodeled club house, lots for kids and adults to do. We stayed here on Coast to Coast, and paid an extra $5 per night for 50 amp. A great park with friendly staff.

We camped here with Passport America and it was a great value as they gave us the price for all 3 days we stayed. We were able to pull through a site due to the park not being busy. It was extremely quiet but we were here before the season. The pond is beautiful and clean but it was too cold to swim. The pool wasn't open for the season yet. There was a lot of grass and trees and was a peaceful setting. We followed the directions on the web site and had no problem finding the park, but it is a bit out of town. There were 3 good signs just as we were questioning how far we had traveled. The one issue we had was that the 30 amp breaker was very old, so we had to manage our electric more than usual, as it didn't seem adequate. I had good internet service with my Verizon card on my laptop. Park was clean and maintained.

I love this park right on the Mississippi River. Watching the barges go up and down the river is great. Staff is friendly and helpful and the location to Memphis is wonderful! We were in the city in less than 15 minutes. Lots of grass to walk out dog. Has a very relaxing atmosphere. Every time we are in the area to stay, or just for over night, we choose this park. Price reflects a Good Sam discount.

A little way off the freeway, but worth the drive. This is one of the cleanest, well manicured campgrounds we've been to. A great stop over place and the people in the office are so friendly. Lots of grass to walk our dog with a beautiful pond on the property. Our price per night includes a Good Sam discount. Highly recommend this place! We stay here every time we pass through Texarkana.
