Hated it. Was a very dirty and dumpy place. Trash is put in the back of a pickup near the entrance. It's the first thing you see and for shadows the rest of your stay. Pond was un-swimmable due to underwater grasses. Additional charges galore.
I would have rated higher but the highway is right next to it, and the water kind of has a hose taste. The staff was great and our site was level and shaded. There is a lot for the kids to do and it is set at the base of the Smokey's an exit away from the parkway. I would return if in the area again!
The staff was very friendly and the sites were pretty much dead level. Easy access on and off highway. The pool was heated and very nice. Great place to stop while traveling, but not a destination campground. Restrooms were spotless.
Nice State Park! walking trails to the Watkins Glen Gorge connect right to campground. Very nice although a little tricky for bigger RVs. Had trouble getting in and out with a 30'TT and an extended cab full size bed pickup. Needed help from camping neighbors to navigate my way out. The loop was kind of backwards to the site. However it's because they kept as many trees as possible which makes a very comfortable site once your in. I would return if I get something smaller.
Very nice park although sites are a little out of level. Did not have full hookups, just water and 30 amp, but that was OK for me. Plenty for kids to do, nice pool. Easy to visit falling waters and Ohiopyle from here. Restrooms and showers I would rate 7 of 10.
Camped hear at the Coast-to-Coast member rate, but they treated us as one of their own. Very quiet and the campsites were mostly wide and easy to back into. The campsites seemed as though they were in the best part of the campground out on the "point" with river views and some river fronts. Can't wait to come back, about 20 minutes from the ocean beaches.
