Spent Labor Day weekend here. The park was not full. The sites are average width for a campground. There was a small patch of grass between our neighbors and us. Poured down rain during the nights we were their but the sites never got muddy. Everything is gravel so there was some dust being kicked up. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and tried to help. The curtains in the shower house had some mildew but the remainder of the shower house and showers were very clean. This is NOT a destination campground. Nothing to do on the grounds. A pool or game room would be nice, especially on Sunday, all of Amish country shuts down. Big potential here but time to start putting some money back in to the facilities. Pavement, pool and trees.

The campground is quiet and the staff is friendly. One of the owners walked around and reminded everyone who was setting out about the evening entertainment. The sites were plenty level and the water and 30 amp electric seemed ok. The twenty amp plugs were not hooked up. There was only one shower house for all 67 sites. On the mens side it contained 2 urinals, two stalls and two showers. The women's side was four stalls and two showers. You had to wait in line to do anything in the shower house. The pool is about 10 feet from a private residence and about a quarter mile cross country from the campground. Never used it, it would be like swimming in someone's private pool.

Our original plan was to spend two nights, but we extended our stay to 4. All of the staff I dealt with were friendly and accommodating. This is the closest private park to Ohiopyle. My site was reserved at the last minute and was near all of the activities, so it was busy at times, but everyone seemed to be having fun, and I never heard any foul language during our stay. We reserved our sites for our next stay before we pulled out.

If you are looking for a relaxing park, this isn't it. Lots of activity all day and evening long. A lot of the activity is campground driven, but this is billed as a destination park so there has to be a lot going on in the park. The shower facilities are showing their age. I think they are letting some of the maintenance go, and are planning on the main facilities becoming the new ones under construction on top of the hill. All of the staff we interacted with were VERY friendly. Summary: Pros - A lot of activities going on all day. Friendly staff. Good location to see area attractions. Seem to enforce quiet hours. Cons - A lot of activities going on all day. Some sites are on the small side. Shower facilities need work. On the expensive side if you are just using it as a base to see the area.

The place couldn't have better the ONE night we were there. Warm pool, friendly people, well stocked store. Everyone was very friendly. The owners son and daughter went out of their way to help us. A lot of activities on site, some very unique ones. There is a prairie schooner on site, a mallet pool game, this is pool where the table is large, on the ground and you play it using large mallets while standing on it, and several more normal things to do. My only concern is that if the campground is full, the facilities will be overwhelmed.

Sites a little small in some areas. Very friendly people. They kept the pool open for us one night late. Very good location. A lot of full time campers, but they treated us like we had been there for seasons.

This was the second time we stayed at this campground. It is a very comfortable campground that seems to continuously be making improvements. Staff is very friendly. Our initial site was facing the front of another camper with a small, common open space between them. We asked for a different spot and the young man that was showing us to our site went to check for open sites. He returned shortly and gave us the list of the open sites. We selected a different site and a few minutes later the young man came back with updated paperwork. Nice campground plenty to do.

This park has about a third of the sites any other campground of this size would have. Speaks highly of the owners, they seem to not be in it only for the money. The woman at the desk when we checked in was very nice and helpful. LOTS of green space in this park. All of the camping sites are on the outside of the road that loops around the campgroung. The entire center is green space with the shower house and one shelter. Lots of trees. Nice, short hiking trail. Firewood is a little expensive.

This is a park run by a watershed conservency district. It is on the edge of a large recreational lake. This campground is the newer of the two in the area, the beach campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many seasonal campers here and the grounds are well maintained. There are few well shaded sites. The campground fills quickly on holiday weekends.

This is a mobile home park that rents their unused spaces to campers, that means no shower houses, no camp store, etc. The campground is located very near the Mountain State Arts and Crafts Festival site. The owners are very nice people and live right on the grounds. The campground was very quiet although kind of crowded. There were few trees in the camping area, but on the edge of the area was a stream and many trees. It would be nice if they would develop this area for camping.
