This campground is obviously old and has seen much better days. The majority of sites are permanent residents. They also store RVs and from the looks of them most have not seen an owner in years. Very dilapidated surroundings. More of a storage for old cars, heavy construction equipment, and rundown RVs. A few of the residents kept their sites neat and clean; however, they were in the minority. It was about a 200 yard walk down a very steep hill to get to the lake?. We were extremely disappointed. Definitely not the campground represented on their website...in fact, it was 180* opposite.
The only downside and the only reason I could not give this campground a 10 is because there was no water or sewer hookups. The campground is beautiful, lots to do, hiking several trails, fishing, swimming. Looking forward to going back.
