Yes, it is pricey, but if you want to look out your front window and see the ocean it is worth it. You get what you see. The ocean and the beach are the frills. If you want to pay less, you can opt to park across the street and pay 40.00 less. Some excellent restaurants nearby. Sites are very easy to pull into. Park is clean, hoses at all beach steps to wash off. .
Just stayed overnight. Road to camp site was in need of repair. We had a pull through site in the back which eliminated hwy noise. Staff was friendly and 5 minutes after we checked in, someone from the office delivered cookies, nice touch. What I did not like was that there was a 2.00 charge for cable TV. And a fee if you use the Internet more than 30 minutes. Now, I've been in many campgrounds that charge for Internet, I have my own Verizon jet pak, but I have never been charged for TV. Only 2.00, but it is the principle. Maybe I'm getting old, but would not stay again. I like all charges up front.
Very nice campground. Clean, staff very friendly. Extra large laundry room. Sites were large, gravel and level. We stayed for five days in a motor home. 2 miles from camping Worley, 3 from Walmart. Very convenient to downtown Chattanooga. If in the area, we would stay here again.
Beautiful, clean park with lakes, creek, and ponds. Only negative was the train right across the street. Every time the train goes by, it blows its loud air horn 10-15 times. At 12:30 and 2:30 in the morning, it is a rude awakening.
Can't say enough positive things. I stayed in the river section, lots of foliage and trees. Bathrooms were spotless. Trails, bike trails, 1/2 mile fishing pier, historic Fort Clinch. 1100 acres of beauty and activities. TV reception was excellent. We brought a Verizon MiFi, which worked well.
Got to the park at 12:30. Office closes at 12:00. Called the number on the door. I was told to pick site 1-4. Electric pedestal was rusted out. Cable TV line came out of the ground. Campground was unkempt, worn out looking. It was right next to a motorcycle tire yard. Made a u-turn and found another campground.
