What a great little campground this is! It has a quiet, family friendly atmosphere. We chatted with the owner, she was super friendly. All sites have concrete pads, picnic table and a grassy area. The sites are bigger than at most other campgrounds. It is very clean and well maintained. The campground has a store with basic supplies. We had cable TV and Wi-Fi and they both worked flawlessly. The pool was clean as well as the bathrooms and showers. Pets are welcome at no additional charge. I rated this campground as a 10 because I have no complaints whatsoever. The only suggestion I have is to build a ramp/sidewalk over the sand dune to make it easier to get out to the beach. It is very hard to walk up the hill, in the sand with chairs, coolers, etc. That being said, it would not stop me from staying at this lovely campground. I look forward to many future visits.
This is a very small campground. Most of the sites are permanent sites, there are very few nightly sites and it is very tight. The most I can say about this campground is that the owner is very nice, and the bath house was clean. It is just a parking space for your camper. There are no activities, no play ground and no pool. The price is good, at only $25 per night.
It is a great little campground. The sites are nice and level and are more spacious than a lot of campgrounds. The two ladies went out of there way to accommodate us without reservations. There are no planned activities and no pool. I think if you have children, they would be very bored. I thought the price was a little high considering there was no pool or other activities. I rated it an 8 because of the lack of a pool and the high price.
We love this campground, mostly because of the gorgeous views. As in previous reviews, there needs to be some improvements. There are very few level sites and you can not make reservations (except during the furniture market). It is a lot of trouble to hook up your camper and go to the campground and find out there are no sites available. I realize the campground is old and therefore built before all these big campers with slideouts came along. But, that being said, it is time to make a few changes. There needs to be a separate water hookup for each site, not a shared water source, sites need to be leveled and a reservation system in place. There is a highway beside section C and it can get loud from the traffic noise. The campground was there before he highway came along though. There is lots to do for the entire family...boating, fishing, playground, pool, golf and tennis. I am rating this a "7" only because it does need a few improvements. Regardless of the few things that need to be updated, we will definitely return.
The owners of this campground are the best, of any campground we have ever stayed at. They are very willing to help with any problems you might have. We were having trouble with our slide-out and Benny (the owner) fixed it for us. There is no pool or playground for the kids. It is a new campground and my understanding is that these things will be added in the future. The sites are not right on top of each other, like most campgrounds we have stayed at. There is not a lot to do at the campground, but there is plenty to do within a short drive. If you want a quiet, relaxing getaway, then this is the place to stay. I do not recommend it, if you have children, they will be bored.
