We moved to this park after being disillusioned with another in town. This campground is awesome for monthly sites. Only $400 per month and that includes everything including super fast Wi-Fi and electric. The cheapest in the area. It is close to the ocean for awesome fishing and there is a golf course just minutes away. The concrete pads are level, with room to park a vehicle as well as our large rig. Our dog loves the large grass area to run around in. The owner was very amenable and willing to answer any questions we had. It is close to all the stores and yet still quiet. We have decided to stay here for the rest of the winter. We love it here.
We looked for a campground to stay for the winter. This was ideal, or so we thought. We were here for 3 weeks and could not stand it anymore. The bugs were horrendous. The sewer smell was awful in the high humidity. There was a mold smell from the AC in the laundry that I am sure was the reason I was ill the next day. We also had to pay extra for our electricity. They had a broken pipe and water flooded the whole of the street. We moved to another campground in the same area for $100.00 less and much better Wi-Fi. The owners did seem to be nice at first, but they became arrogant and it seemed anything we asked them, we were being a nuisance. I would never stay here again. Not even if you paid me!
We came here for the Albuquerque State Fair, but we got much more than we expected. It is close to all that you need. Shopping, groceries, attractions etc. Although this is an older campground, it is maintained well. The site accommodated our large rig (37foot) and there was ample room to park our tow vehicle as well. The bathrooms, high on my list of things to check, were old but spotlessly clean. No hesitation in using them. A free daily newspaper was offered. The dog play area was much appreciated by our pet too, and she loved the free dog treat they gave us at check in. Wi-Fi was great for checking our email and surfing the internet. The tourist package we were given gave us pamphlets of places to see, and also coupons were given for free goodies at various eateries. The staff were keen to make sure our 3 day stay was all we could want. We will stay here again for sure. In my opinion, it is the perfect family campground.
This campground is new (approx 2 years). The road in is awful, with a big pothole right at the entrance. The staff at the counter were not very friendly and didn't seem to know what they were doing. The sites were long enough but were uneven, gravel and dusty. The grass (what little there was) was nice and short but was full of fleas, which our dog was not happy with. The hook ups were way at the back and we had to add a hose to reach the water and sewer. The water smelled and tasted awful. And there was an awful sewer smell in the bathrooms, although they were very clean. The wi-fi was good. We won't stay there again, unless we absolutely have to.
This is an older campground. The sites are well kept and tidy. There is little grass but the heat in this area can be attributed. The woman at the registration desk was very polite and helpful. The laundry room was clean and there were enough machines for two people to use it at the same time. The Wi-Fi works great! We would stay here again.
This is an old but well kept campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sites were well maintained and tidy. Although this campground is right on the freeway, we did not hear much noise after 8pm. The Wi-Fi had a good signal, but the speed was very slow. It took a while for us to do our email, due to the slow speed. We would stay here again, should the need arise.
This is a relatively new campground. It is a very pretty campground and in very good condition. Some of the sites have shade, some don't. But there are new trees in place. The sites have a concrete pad with a table, umbrella and 4 chairs. The staff were friendly and obliging. The Wi-Fi was great! We have a 40 foot fifth wheel, which our site accommodated with no problem. I was impressed with this campground and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This little CG is right off the freeway. A little noisy but the owner is very friendly and the sites are really long, really wide, with easy in and out. The sites have a lot of space between them and they are very well kempt. We were looking for a monthly site and this CG has all that we need, close to stores and conveniences. This is where we will stay until it gets too cold for us. It is looking like we will make this our monthly CG for the late spring/early winter.
On our way south, we stopped here overnight in a water/ electric site. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The store was sparse, but it was the end of the summer. Everything was clean and fresh looking. The hill climb to the campground was a little steep but the sites were level and wide enough to accommodate our slide outs. Our pet was welcome. The only problem I had was the freeway noise, but we expect that at most campgrounds off the freeway. We choose the convenience of close to freeway as opposed to miles away. We would stop here again as an overnighter.
This CG had everything we need. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. (Some other KOA CG have not been like this for us.) The store was nicely decorated and they had a little bit of everything. ALL the facilities were spotless. I love clean bathrooms and laundries! They had free crafts for the kids and a free magic show as well. Cable and wifi actually works! They had a free shuttle to the music shows and they were happy to take us when we wanted to go. They treated our pets as well as us. Very pet friendly CG. (the only reason I didn't give them a 10 is..no spa pool) We will stay here again for sure.
I am using the WiFi from this campground to do this review. This little campground is right on highway 54/400 in Pratt, Kansas. It was $23.00 for a FHU 50 amp site with free cable, free WiFi, laundry and restrooms. It has a pool but it was too cold to use it. It also has a restaurant right there on the property with good home country cooking. The owners are lovely people willing to help with anything. We have a large long 5th wheel with 3 slideouts. The site was so big we could pull our truck in beside our 5'er with plenty of room. We will stay here again for sure.
This is a great campground. It has a security gate which made us feel very safe. The owners were friendly and helpful. They had all sorts of neat information for when visiting Chicago. The mini golf is great for the kids and they had banana bikes too. Great fun! The wifi worked great and was free! We will camp here again in the future.
This is an old campground but well maintained and in quiet rural surroundings. They do fabulous doughnuts and coffee in the morning. The wifi works great and the owners were eager to help us with directions for sightseeing. The staff and owners were very friendly and the sites were big enough for our big rig. We would stay here again.
I have nothing bad to say about this campground. It is in my opinion the perfect place to stay, hence my 10 rating. The owners are friendly, helpful and hospitable. The pool is fabulous, the wifi works great and the pizza, which was delivered to our site, was the best I have had in a long time. The sites are spacious, surrounded by very well kept grass. The patios at the sites are great for having meals at the picnic table. The store has a bit of everything and the bathrooms and laundry facilities are very clean. I will definitely stay there again.
We left here the day after July 4th. They had a free BBQ for the campers and they had fireworks for the kids that night. A fun time was had by all. The owners are friendly and helpful. They had a fabulous pizza which they delivered to our site and the wifi worked great! The sites are well kept and there is plenty of room for slideouts and vehicles. The store had a little bit of everything. The bathrooms are impeccably clean, and the hot tub and pool were great! This campground is a little way off from towns and stores but it is a quiet friendly relaxing place to stopover. I would stay here again.
This kampground has just been taken over by new owners. The new owner is very accommodating, and very eager to please. Many improvements have been made to this park since our last visit. The stories of the previous owner by the locals are legendary and they are very open to voicing their pleasure at the new owner. We like this kampground and new owner so much, we are planning to return regularly. The new pool is very clean and inviting. The grounds have been tidied up a great deal and the new owner is still working on improvements, especially for the playground. The laundry is open 24 hours, is clean and very functional. Nearly all the sites are pull-throughs and our 40 foot 5th wheel was accommodated without any effort.
