The rate is a monthly rate for 50amp. This is a family park with lots of room for kids to be kids running and playing. Nice big stocked pond for fishing and a nice stream to tube or whatever. Bathrooms are old but VERY clean. Spaces are different sizes but all have grass and most are shady. There is a nice playground and a big field for dogs. There is a bandstand but we haven't seen anything going on there yet. Lots of fulltimers but the spaces are kept neat. The owners/managers are terrific. Nice friendly park, nice friendly town. Strong electric (123) and great water pressure. Big rig friendly. Free Wi-Fi
Nice park and very friendly work campers BUT if you park in the grass in a heavy rig and it rains it can be a bad situation. The ground is very soft and easily floods so sinking is a real thing. We have been here in the past in a much lighter rig and knew what could happen if it rained so this time we fled the grass as soon as the pitter patter of rain was heard on the roof. Unfortunately it was very early in the morning and in the dark. The roads are hard packed though. Laundry has 4 washers and 4 dryers that work well. I believe they were $1 each. The whole building the laundry was in needed a good sweeping but otherwise was clean.
We arrived here about 10 in the morning after fleeing Amana Colonies because of heavy rain. No problem with early check-in and no extra charge. Sites are fairly long but not real wide so it's snug with slides. Well kept grass, patios and tables. We will use this campground again when in the area. A Freightliner Oasis dealer is across the freeway which is why we came to the area. Needed routine service. Also a Flying J at this exit.
We were here for a rally. A nice clubhouse for gatherings for rallies overlooking the fishing lake. Our site was plenty long enough for the MH (40 ft) and we had plenty of room for toad parking, slides and awnings. The site was level, gravel and grass. Roads are gravel so there is dust. We had no problems with the manager and his wife and enjoyed conversations with them about the area and just general conversation. We use an Verizon air card and could not get a signal. Our cell phones are also Verizon and our signal wasn't always strong. TV reception is bad so cable would be nice. We used our satellite with no problem but once the trees leaf out completely some sites probably would have problems with reception. We were in this campground a week and enjoyed ourselves. There is plenty in the area to do/see and there is a winery across the road and a flea market next door. The road out front is busy but by 11pm there was little or no traffic so sleeping with our windows open was no problem. Utilities are shared so if traveling with friends you can be awning to awning so that's nice. If we return to the Nashville area we will stay here again.
We've stayed here a number of times and always the office personnel are very friendly. Big sites, fairly level and room for slides. Roads are gravel as are the sites. Limited food menu is offered with delivery to your site. Nice gift shop. Big rigs OK.
This is a great KOA. The sites are large, long and fairly level. The roads are gravel as are the sites with some grass. Our site had a lovely cedar porch swing. Very nice. Also they serve a limited menu which was very tasty and a good price. The owners are very friendly. Plenty of room for slides. OK for big rigs.
Nice campground with a great view of the woods. Paved roads, sites are gravel. Pull-throughs are wide, long and fairly level. The back-ins are wide, long and level. Wi-Fi is extra as is 50 amp, cable and extra people. OK for big rigs.
