I wish I could give this park a better rating but it was very expensive ($42 + $10 for internet) - so I felt a little ripped-off. The location is pretty and there is a fenced area for dogs - and all of the normal KOA facilities. When I tried to reach someone after hours because of a problem (there were three big dogs running loose through the campsites), no one answered the intercom. Laundry room is also expensive.
Incredibly lovely setting - we were there when the waterfall was full and the creek was rushing. The swimming holes would be great in summer. There is a fenced area where you can let your dog off leash - my dog loved this! Nice people, good Wi-Fi and one of the best stocked RV stores I have ever seen. We will return.
Beautiful location, nice people, good facilities, and an excellent value. My son enjoyed the pool while my dog and I enjoyed wandering the property and listening to the trees rustle. Big roomy sites. Good Wi-Fi. This is definitely a park we will camp in again.
Expensive for what we got. As over nighters we were placed in the front row spots, closest to the noisy road and not very nice (there was dog waste on the site and no bench/table set-up). The dumpsters were overflowing to the extent that garbage was on the ground. Laundry room was good but very busy (you had to wait for machines) and the dryers took a long time (2 hours) to dry a few towels. On a good note, there is a nice tiny pond on the property with lots of birds. Wi-Fi access was good. I wonder if our experience might have been different if we had arrived on a different day. We came in on Sunday at 3pm when the office was closed. And we left ~9am the next morning and still no one was around. So there was no one to maintain the site (pick up the garbage, etc.).
This was a lovely site and I wish I could give it a higher score but we ran into one irritating problem - earwigs! We left our camp chairs and firmly-closed Rubbermaid containers outside and in the morning they were full of hundreds of earwigs (our neighbor had them in his closed tackle box). We ended up unpacking and cleaning out the boxes multiple times and even days later, another earwig would appear. Maybe we were just camping there at the wrong time of year.
We really enjoyed this little park. The sites are small and close together but the people are very nice and the view of the lake and the mountains was magnificent. Bathrooms are well taken care of - and you can tell that the people who 'summer' here are respectful of the sites as well. My dog especially loved walking near the water and we enjoyed listening to the birds. Internet access was also good.
